I would say basic logic dictates that whenever the author is really into drawing females making out, it is very likely they are into women (no matter if the author is male or female).

And whenever the author shows a realistic depiction of romantic relationships between women (rarely the case in yuri manga btw), it is extremely likely the author is a woman who is into women.

Since this manga has neither...

Your logic is flawed. It would be unrealistic if Kaoru and Uta just went at it right away. Right now they are in a difficult position, where Kaoru just confirmed her suspicions, and she is still conflicted on how to handle Uta and Reiji. How in the right mind would she be able to kiss or screw Uta at this point when she just figured things out lol. Makes no sense.

I’d say what’s happening right now is a somewhat realistic depiction of how it would feel being in love with your sibling’s spouse. It’s complicated. Gotta be patient to see what happens.

Since there are yuri and subtle gay themes in this manga, decided to create a thread for it since it doesn’t exist here yet... feel free to discuss

It’s all a metaphor for Sae’s feelings. But why a flytrap is beyond me.

Uh, well Pornhub could make use of this plot. What did I read.

How come fan doujins have more chemistry than the actual manga lol.

This just occurred to me, but is pigtails the one in the Sunset Girl photo?

Calling it now: the photography senpai has hots for twintails and made them break up by lying about something to the black-haired chick. But twintails is not over it, so her plan ultimately failed.

Yes, she’s obviously the cause of their breakup, but we don’t know which one she is interested in. Whatever lie she made up to the black haired chick or whatever blackmailing she has against her, we can tell it’s something terrible.

Madeleinedupris posted:

Gin is very much a woman as we see her behave and takes care of her appearance.

Nope and nope. Gin never stated he felt like he's actually a woman. Taking care of your appearance is not something that defines a woman. And he does not "behave like a woman" when he's not in "representation". Like here. Actually, he dresses up and "takes care of his appearance" only when cross-dressing, like an actor.

She’s not just a “trap,” she legitimately wants to become a woman and is trying to figure out her sexual identity.

Nope. Or we didn't read the same manga.

Gin just wants to look cute, to have likes on instagram. He craves attention, but as a guy, he's shy and thinks he's too short. It's plainly written in chapter 1. It's very much like net okamas, guys who adopt female personas on the net in order to attract attention and praises.

Like not every drag queen is gay, not every cross-dresser is a trans. At this point of the manga, Gin is no transgirl.

The blackmailing chick teaches him about transgenders and he thinks about it, and wonders if he’s one too. So we shouldn’t rule that out.

its incredible how the author managed to make 3 couples with an amount of 0 chemistry EVEN the supposedly yuri ones. kuroe gives clearly aroace vibes, her relationship with miyabi is just depressing bc she shows no sign of romantic feelings AND 90% of their interactions is miyabi cleaning/making stuff for her.

The title of the series pretty much confirms the slow pace lol

^it hasn't been confirmed that he's cheating tho

He’s always liked that other woman when they were in high school, and they have as shown do keep in touch. And his lying to her and inability to tell Kaoru exactly why he was with her is proof enough that he has lingering feelings for that other woman, << or >> doesn’t want to let Kaoru know he’s meeting her for some reason. It’s true that he was lying and was to a degree being unfaithful. Cheating or not, not communicating with your spouse is unhealthy imo.

Lmao. I love the metaphorical parallel/savage burn on page 3. Uta literally responding to her bro's assumption that they'll all be a happy family forever with the words "I'll leave that garbage to you. Also, careful with that old bag, it's about to break". Ruthless. I didn't know she had it in her.

Really? I noticed that she was quite the talker since the earlier chapters. But yes, funny regardless. I would also hate his guts for being an unfaithful, lying coward.

So is the author implying that Kuro is asexual and/or aromantic in this chapter?

She clearly has had sexual relationships with women, but I think aromantic makes more sense. It seems like she wants a relationship that feels more equal/neutral as opposed to someone possessing clingy “lovey dovey” feelings for her. She did reject Miyabi once in an earlier chapter, but at the same time understood Miyabi was the one who really knew her inside and out. I think that’s enough for her to want to be with Miyabi/someone who meets those needs, if that makes sense.

Did i skipped something or why can this garbage dude sit there with kaoru and her as if nothing happend? he CHEATED on her.

It’s because Kaoru wants to avoid confrontation. It looks as if she is scared of hurting Reiji because she loves him. And she doesn’t want to break the familial bond she has with the two siblings either.

The gender of the spouse could be male and the story would be exactly the same.

I think author just wanted them to be girls and so adjusted slightly the setting accordingly ("same-sex marriage are ok and accepted").

But it doesn't keep us from building upon it.

Lol you beat me to this idea. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Character could indeed be easily replaced with a male. But in recent chapters, there are things that wouldn’t happen (like the pretty yukata) if she were a man.

Yeah mercury poisoning sure is sexy... what did I just see lol.

Every time there’s a male character who shows up, some people immediately dismiss that chapter/arc to “suck” or is not good. People freak out and foam all over just because a dude shows up and it’s kind of ridiculous imo xD

It makes me wonder as to whether people really care about the story and why men are needed, or if they just wanna watch two girls make out and don’t really pay attention to the plot at all.

Some of my best friends happen to be straight dudes and I get a teeny bit upset when people say negative things about them, because they don’t apply to all straight men.

The title is now 'Fluttering' instead of 'Excited'? Shit. That either means it's going to be a very euphoric climax or an incredibly depressing melancholic end.

Haha, I'm still reeling from all the tragic and dramatic stuff Korean manhwas and dramas spew out all the time. I really hope this is one of those lighthearted comedic types with only sprinkles of tears here and there. But mostly "fluttering feelings".

And I'm like 98.99% sure the guy is involved with one of the girls somehow. Probably like the fiance to Seol-a or something.

Only in Korean manhwas? Really? I’ve seen worse dramatic stuff in Japanese manga. Especially straight works

I... don't think -a is part of her name. >.> -a is a particle used to denote the subject of a sentence (I think). It could be of course, I just never encountered a name like that before.

Anyway! Cute story with a nice art style... and from Korea too. Drama will probably loaded down with misunderstandings lol.

That’s how Korean names work though. People’s names are usually two to four separate syllables/characters, as opposed to the Japanese, who have straightforward last and first names.

I just love how this manga treasures the most important thing in yuri for me: loving a girl while being a girl.
"I'm happy and proud that I love a girl, and that I'm a girl too".
Thank you so much, Morishima.

Exactly, I love how she is an out lesbian herself, and she is not ashamed of having two girls just make magic happen. There’s no “what if guys were like so and so” bullshit in most of her works which is what I really like.

I feel like Satomi was given more development as a character. Like show us more about how she was in love with Sono... Perhaps the ending was a bit too rushed and strayed off the plot.

I wasn’t aware that this was posted here, looks like everyone does knows :(
Anyways it’s sad to see a fellow artist go like that. She was the reasons why I got into K-comics.
And yeah we will never how the ending she had planned for the comic.

I feel like whoever her editor was might know the story since editors look over what authors plan out before drawing said stories. But I’m sure he or she wants to respect her wishes and let things be for now, or maybe find someone who can make a faithful continuation.

Even if the series does not continue, I am so grateful that she put out such a heartfelt work. It’s so sad that good people leave too soon... Rest in peace, Ssamba. :-(

Art style reminds me of a western cartoon aimed at adults, can't think of it though...

Probably Family Guy lol. Eli Chika’s face kinda reminds me of Stewie lol
