God, that flashback transition on pages 8 and 9 hurts so good. I absolutely love how emotionally poignant these little bits of visual storytelling can be. It adds even more depth to an already heart-wrenching story.

Man, as unlikely as it is, I really hope this gets some sort of anime adaption. Hell if doesn't deserve it.

The old lady is reminiscing about her high school years with her best friend, and is regretting not realizing her romantic feelings then; all the while making lunch. She then goes out, hoping to meet her friend and sort things out.

Their art is just too good. I don't know if it's how they shade or the colors themselves but it's so pleasing to the eye.

One of the longest and best one-shots I've read in a long time. It's far fucking far from being perfect but nice regardless. The pacing could be better if it wasn't a one-shot. Maybe a chapter or two longer, especially with that sister character just thrown in. But it's cute and the build up to when they realize their feelings is nice. An arbitrary score of 7/10 me likey.
