It switched publications from Comic Megastore Alpha to Comic Hotmilk, which could potentially mean we'll get new chapters monthly going forward.

Apparently not, it wasn't in the December issue of Comic Hotmilk.

Well, the next chapter is in the November issue of Comic Hotmilk, and features Manami and Rise so the whole thing is starting to get very polygonal.

Well, that was utterly nihilistic. It makes me think that the author must have read the OTHER "two girls in love in the aftermath of the extinction of humanity" and thought, "Hold my beer." Frankly that one's much better, as it makes it clear that the couple DID have an investment in the rest of humanity and DO mourn them.

This is one of my favorite Mekimeki dojins, mostly for the incredibly cute way Vivio reacts to the flashback storyline. "Wait, what? That story makes no sense! What kind of nonsense and tomfoolery are you trying to spread here?"

Well, we'll see what happens when the November issue of Comic Megastore Alpha releases in a bit less than two months. I do think everyone who's acting shocked has clearly ignored the rather casual attitudes towards incest and pederasty elsewhere in Kurogane's work. Shoujo Sect might eventually focus on the love between Shinobu and Momoko, but remember Kyouko's reminiscence about her past relationships? Remember Chizuru and Shigure? This is different in degree, not in kind.

A rare but charming moment of vulnerability from Darjeeling; but she really should have expected Miho to surprise her in SOME way ...

... I like this doujin, but its attempts to throw in stuff from seasons after the story started is a little bewildering. Since Salem and Cinder don't seem to exist in this version of events, I'm left wondering WHY Roman got eaten by a Grimm, and why Ruby's silver eyes haven't been triggered before this.

I find it ironic that among all their teammates, it's the yakyuu-baka (is there an English equivalent to this term aside from "baseball idiot"?) who has little to no sense of romance, Asuka, is the one who could tell that the captains were into each other.

Once again, I'm not sure who I feel more sorry for (while simultaneously laughing at) -- Miu for being in love with an idiot, or Asuka for being in love with a sadist. But what the hell, they -- and the rest of their team -- are hilarious.
