Well, this is weird. I usually love this kind of story, about trash people and their unhealthy relationship. I'm a big fan of Kodama Naoko. Add age-gap into the fray, I should like this manga

This chapter was also hard to read. These two pages really hit me hard and credit to the author for being able to make such relatable imagery. Needless to say they made me cry again while reading. I'm so glad to see though that she is starting to take steps to accept herself and have a happy future.

I was on the fence before, but after this chapter, it seems like we might really get a Mei and Kotone pairing, and I for one welcome it, of course, I think Kotone still has some growing to do, but she'll get there.

Also, I'm definitely starting to ship Kotone and Mei.

Out of all the transgender based series on this site (of which I think there are three) I think this one is my favorite.

Completely agree. Its easily one of the best on here that tries to tackle LGBT issues in general. As others have said it feels very real and genuine. Also the characters are likable and its well balanced.

Not sure if/when the rest of the series following these two will get done, but I'd love to see it done some day.

If there is more of these two I would love to see it. The characters were really cute.

In this section here, https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/1_x_ch08#10 I'm wondering what the "You know what of yours" meant. It sounds like Akira is saying that Ayako is a player and Asuka genetically inherited from her so she is unable to deny Asuka's seducing skills. By Akira saying that they are close, sounds like they were sex friends with no feelings involved. Ayako's response to that is blushing and silent quote and in addition tothe next page where Akira asks if she was serious. Might be far fetched but I think the husband found out about their relationship and got into an accident after? I'm not sure how that is connected to Ayako blaming herself for Asuka's feelings for her

I think this is possible. We already know Akira has a thing for Ayako afterall. At the very least I wouldn't be surprised if something happened between Ayako and Akira at some point.

The title too, I think, is self-explanatory. We have 1 (a whole, the mother) x 1/2 (half of that whole, the daughter). This story can literally be titled Mother x Daughter.

btw my current leading theory on why Akira (and Ayako to some extent) seem to have some guilty secret about Atsushi's death

I was skeptical at first but rereading some chapters tend to abound in your sense.Here and here seem to imply that Akira may have something to do with her brother death, at least to some extent and Ayako know about it.

I put over the theory Asuka wasn't Atsushi's daughter because Ayako said she look like her father so it's kinda a given he is really her father. But the next page put me in doubt, what does Ayako mean with her sentence ?

Something certainly happened which Ayako and Akira are both aware of and feel guilty for, though they may not have been directly responsible. Its also clear that Akira has a thing for Ayako as well so maybe that plays into it? I'd really hate it however if it turned out Asuka wasn't Ayako's daughter somehow, but that seems unlikely.

Also, I was always a bit confused as to why Ayako kissed Asuka here in chapter8 but I suppose thinking about it again, she was probably reminded of his death and her lose of a person she felt something towards, given the crying. Therefore not wanting to lose anyone else she cared about she kissed Asuka to appease Asuka's desires so she wouldn't leave or become distanced. I'd be glad to hear others opinions on this though.

I think this chapter helps answer why Ayako would go so far as to appease Asuka earlier as she was afraid of losing Asuka, the person she has the closest emotional connection with.

I don't understand why Asuka pulled off when Ayako deepened the kiss, I didn't expect her to react like this.

I assumed that she was able to sense that something was off with how see was acting and her behavior as you can generally get a sense of when people start acting out of character, that and the fact she took the lead.

Same. If they actually end up having sex next chapter I'll be a bit disappointed. Of course I really want to see their relationship progress that far eventually but right now I want to experience how Ayako handles her realization and how both the characters will respond to this development.

I never knew handholding could be so heartmoving. This chapter was so beautiful and now that Ayako has realized her feelings things should get pretty interesting. The only painful thing is the thought of having to wait another month for more chapters.

this storyline is so special and unique that I don't even complain about the wait. I admit that it's struggling but I adore it so much that I don't mind. I could never drop this. I shit you not that I check on this manga daily for updates

I just love how excited Yuzu gets over the simplest of romantic things. I laughed so hard to everyones reaction to her build up that they kissed for the first time. They all just looked so defeated. Also seeing Mei's reactions to Yuzu's deep love is always so adorable.

Besides, I don’t know what people are complaining about—the flashback was only two chapters: Chapter 12 & Chapter 13.

Seeing Kotone break down there at the end was really hard to read. I really felt for her a lot there. Hopefully next chapter she will feel better. Also I'd love to see her and Mei fall for each other. At the very least I want both of them to be able to have happy relationships.

When is this manga gonna stop with the backstory crap and get back to the mothercon.

I too want to see more of the main relationship but I also like way the author is taking time to detail what happened and answer questions raised in earlier chapters. Also this backstory has given us a few nice things in regards to Asuka x Ayako as well so even if you don't care for it, its not completely bad. Just be patient and enjoy the ride.

This has to be like the cutest chapter I've ever read, I just can't even contain myself while reading it.

Can't wait for more. I'm always a fan of characters trying to suppress their inner dark desires while not wanting to truly stop themselves.

I love Tetsu, hes such a good guy. This series overall is just sooo good. So many feels in this chapter that put a smile on my face, and seeing Mogumo happy at the end just warmed my heart.

I so love this series. Kagami's face is to die for. I can't wait for the next chapter.
