yes they are.. the same way that Ms. Choi is a darker shade of Seju.
the reason I say that is not only because Sungji herself was the one to bring the comparison from Ch1 even (as we just explained above subtly)

Just noticed this comment after I made mine. In this regards, sure, their situations are somewhat similar. I agree. When I hear someone say sumin is a dawoon, or something like that, I immediately assume she is implying
1. Sungji falls for Sumin because sumin is like dawoon.
2. Sungji will go back to dawoon because of 1.
I fail to see either.

Since you mentioned Dawoon, I flipped though a few chapters of dawoon. I am now 97% convinced that sungi will leave sumin in the end.

Why makes you say that? Rather than Nora and Foxy Lady's pov xDDD?

1. Pattern - girls in wdtfs go back to their ex/crush. Sumin and Seju, dawoon to sungji, sungji to sumin.
2. In ch. 4, the laywer (what's her name again?) told sumin she was giving up on her. Immediately after that, Seju asked what about sungji. The question we are all waiting for has been asked since the beginning.
3. What did Camille do when she knew dawoon still had feeling for sungji even though dawoon reassured that Camille was the one she loved that that moment? Camille-dawoon-sungji is a foreshadow of sungji-sumin-seju ending.
4. Sungji asked dawoon could she be in love with a person while thinking about someone else? In her one week date with dawoon, she got her answer. She also experienced what sumin had experienced the whole time.... Sungji has not connected the dots yet but she will soon....

Mmhm think of what was that in Sungji's room that represnts Dawoon in ch1.

The stuffed animals? That would be sad cuz they looked neglected and gone (thrown away?) after sumin bought her the giant dog from Japan.

Since I feel like it's really almost the end. Can I just ask how many of you guys are betting on a Seju/Sumin Ending VS. Sunji/Sumin right now? I always thought that Seju/Sumin was the possible dark horse in this race to Sumin's heart. Logically, in the beginning I thought that Sunji/Sumin would be the end ship(just because they were always shown) but after learning more about Seju/Sumin's backstory and everything else that has already...I have to say it added depth to the story that I just had to follow because it didn't feel like a typical love triangle story and now I think anything really is possible.

I felt for Sumin x Seju in chapter 3, then as the story progresses, I started to like Sungi and thought maybe she is the one Sumin really needs. And then Seju showed up again, once again, I saw how strong their bond is, I don't think sumin x sungi will ever have that level of connection. Sumin and Sungi's relationship feel very... cautious, for lack of better words, while sumin and Seju is more honest and intimate.

Sungi has friends, family, relationship and a job. She is not socially awkward, it's other that people feel awkward around her because of her beauty. I am not sure why people think she has a condition.

Team pink don't celebrate yet. Gaji needs to justify why sumin would go back to Seju in the event that Sungi breakup with her again.... Sumin is echoing the same self doubt, guilt, fear, mistrust. Things are not looking good for either team tbh.

ah, I think Anonymous and I forgot to correct the pronoun.. Sumin meant: I still have bad dreams about "it" -> the PTSD (the abduction)
so being indifferent/numb is meant to be about the (abduction, assault) not towards each other.

I have a tattoo of a Phoenix, the Eye of chaos, the Elder sign from the Cthulhu mythos with some tentacles backing away from it, a Xenomorph ouroborus tattoo and an Evil Dead tattoo. Once you start you find you want more though lol.

what's art without fantasy?

Not deputing the importance of fantasy in art. Both are wonderful when you are enjoying them. I am poking fun of how some high school kids are forced (taught) to read all the nifty details. Outside of academic setting, I for sure don't read books and manga with a magnifying glass. I read them for leisure, miss a lot of details at time of reading, but I think I can still get the tone and feeling, like I don't need to know blue color curtain represents depression to get the sad feeling given the imagery and context.

I have a few tattoos. Will these be your first?
