Pretty stereotypical cottagecore SOL, but the body swapping aspect is interesting. Looking forward to when the witch and the queen confronts each other and we get to hear the witch's backstory. Though, I feel like it'd take until 50+ chapters before it happens.

I agree with all of this, and share your sentiments and suspicions as well.

But mostly I just wanted to say that I'd never heard the term "cottagecore", before, but I completely understand the idea in an instant.

I'm gonna have to reread this once the middle has been filled in properly. It's gonna be a jamais vu-filled trip.

These damn Frank colleges.

It's leaning a little too hard into sexist stereotypes (that is, stereotypes of sexism) and trivial criticism of the main characters for my suspension of disbelief. Every single time someone else seems reasonable, they have to say something that reverses or undercuts it. The writing feels like it has all the grace, nuance, wisdom, and polish of an angry middle-schooler's rant about how mean and unfair the world is.

I'll keep reading because the main characters are decent enough, the setting is weird and cool, and the artist likes putting them in attractive outfits all the time, but damn is the allegorical technique on display thus far just JV as fuck.

Damn, I can't believe that the cliffhanger got resolved without an asspull. I'm honestly impressed.

If this series ends at chapter 100, I will be ripshit.

It's fucked up, for sure, but since when have high school girls been great decision makers? Not to mention high school girls with magic at their disposal? I think it's an entirely understandable choice, whether or not it's the right one.

Also, the movie that the manager is really hype about is almost certainly one of the Fast And Furious movies, the Japanese releases of which all have absurd names beginning with "Wild Speed", so his enthusiasm is understandable.
