Yeah, is weird it hasn't been uploaded anywhere yet. I keep looking at my feed both here and mangadex to see when it will be up because I really want to see what people think of it.

Frost is adorable and I think she's one of the most likable takes on the "rude with a soft gooey heart" archetype where while she is callous and rude, you can still understand where is coming from and why she's so reluctant on accept Clarice (plus you know, Clarice did marry her to get her hands on Frost's fortune). That said, Clarice being confused as to how approach Frost after kiss is a unequivocal sign that she's fallen in love for real and going by Frost's weary smile, the feeling is reciprocal to some degree.

We also got a little more insight on Dahlia and her relationship with Violet and I'm thinking that the previous Dark Knight was actually Frost's mom-

I must say is impressive how is the only OG Holo ship to still have a on-stream presence while every other has either died or moved off-stream.

Violet and Shion are cute, I assume they will be the deuteragonists of the story. Also, for anyone enjoying the series I encourage you to follow Sometime and Shou's fanbox since they make posts after every chapter telling a little about what happened behind the scenes of that chapter.

I'm so glad that someone finally called out Diana on her BS, heck, Alexandra even comes off as Nekotarou's mouth piece to sunk the idea of a poly ending.

That said, she is a much better match for Diana than Natori who would be very obviously strung along by Diana's personality.

Put me down as another finding the endings pretty underwhelming, especially the ones about the teacher and her student and the manga/editor, it feels like their relationship had a significant change and then came back to the same place with no sign of moving forward anytime soon. Saori and Shizuku never truly moved beyond the tsundere dynamic but it got a better closure, oh well, maybe Mikanuji will come back to those couples in the future and give them a proper resolution.

I just noticed that the bearded guy in Frost's flashbacks, wishing Frost had never born, is wearing the Black Knight Armor, ergo, is her father.

As I said before, Clarice is a fantastic main character. She has avoided so far all the usual pitfalls romance leads fall into and moving the story at a very enjoyable pace while at the same time growing organically as character. Violet on the other hand, still confuses me, she was introduced as you typical corrupt business owner but the more we see of her and her relationship with Shion, the more human and vulnerable she becomes, right now it seems she and Shion will be the begruding allies rather than the rivals.

Shion is a nice foil to Frost but she seems a bit shallow at the moment and is great to see more of Frost's mental state and how utterly terrified she is of letting someone close to her, ironically, she wasn't wrong, Clarice did have ulterior motives to marry her so I fully expect this little secret to come back and bit Clarice's in the ass down the line.

Lastly, for some reason, I assumed the little girl in Frost's flashback was Shion, implying she is the reason Shion is missing an eye.

I cracked up at Natori looking at Lapis before returning Diana's greeting. Poor Diana is not even in the race and she doesn't know it. That said, Diana going all-in on ignoring teamwork just to show off and then antagonizing Alexandra because of her ties to Lapis is kind of grating and doesn't show Diana in a positive light. Here's hoping this tournament arc actually gives Diana the development she needs and more importantly, it sticks.

Translations are back!

So, Diana's new girlfriend is a noble, eh? That Lapis is pretty cunning.

Frost absolutely won, she was fighting with a handicap to not give up her identity as the Black Knight and was able to not only force Shion to pull out her mask power-up but end the fight on a stalemate (that as pointed out was less of a stalemate than a dramatic clash on Frost's favor).

Yeah, Clarice is a delight as an MC because she doesn't stay idle waiting for things to solve themselves, she actively pushes head on towards her goals no matter the obstacles. Violet has turned out to be surprisingly sympathetic and I doubt anyone saw the twist about her family coming.

The series is still going, the Japanese raws are up to chapter 25.

The artwork here is so good, but I want to point out a subtle detail that struck me as interesting. I'm not sure how much it matters, but when Shion puts on her mask, both of its eyes glow, despite one of her eyes being covered by an eye patch, which seems to imply that while her mask is on she can see through both eyes and that its more than just a mask. Similarly, despite the mask having both of its eyes, the left eye is surrounded by a similar flower design to the eye patch so I wonder if the two are connected somehow.

Sometime posted a reference sheet for Shion's mask, actually.

Funnily enough, Sometime admits the mask is just so Shion can transform like Frost does, ala Super Sentai.

Very interesting reveals but is clear that Violet's account of the Day of the Ashes events aren't complete and will be later contextualized when we know Frost's side of the story. I hope that Clarice's love for Frost is strong enough to not be influenced by a clearly biased third party but is a nice counterpart to Frost suddenly realising that she actually loves Clarice.

I do appreciate that Meiling's schilicking material is of Sakuya, though

It's nice to have a couple of chapters where everyone is less of an asshole to each other and are relatively normal lovey-dovey couples. I think is nice that the story is ending soon and not being dragged to eternity but I feel like there is not enough chapter to give proper closure to all the couples.

Shion and Frost are so similar that it is no wonder they are immediately going for each other's throats, that said, Shion is pretty interesting despite being nothing more than a huge Violet simp right now, it must be her design. I'm curious about what Violet is plotting, certainly can't be anything good but I trust Clarice to be savvy enough to deal with her.

Frost just happening to pick the earrings meaning for your beloved is a huge coincidence, could it be that Clarice if starting to thaw her ice heart?
