One of my very favourite one-shots. Probably read it more than any other. The only other that makes me smile as much is maybe Neko Ni Naritai.

You'll agree this bears little resemblance to the version on Batoto. There's no reference to being left alone, being hated, being understood, being a freak, going easy on anyone, or hating table tennis. Basically the entire dialogue was invented from thin air. And this is hardly the most egregious example. The most important lines seem to have been the ones most heedlessly rewritten. Those who read the fake releases may have thought they were reading Hana to Hoshi, but they were really reading an entirely different (and much less elegantly told) story.

Thank you for telling us all about this! I'll be sure to patiently wait here for the conclusion then. Reading bad scanlations is far worse than waiting.

I see no 9 10 or 11. Were they up and got removed? Or am I missing something?

I'd imagine anything is possible when it comes to something like this. You just never know how you're going to feel until you do. It's kind of like when you feel anger or jealousy for the first time. You're not used to it so they're very overbearing and confusing maybe. Love can probably feel the sort of the same way and when they other person feels the same, it'd be simple to get caught up in it and things like this would happen.

Anyway, don't miss the follow up story by this author :) Was very funny.

Just a quick comment to say I agree with almost everything here. This was the very first Yuri I read. I have it on my Wishlist on Amazon right now, will be ordering it as soon as I am able.

I can completely understand those who feel it's "too long" or something like that. Unlike Sasameki Koto (which I also love btw.) this doesn't feel dragged out. Everything is there for a reason. Just keep in mind that both girls are extremely dense when it comes to anything relationship wise. Especially Mari :)

Get it, enjoy it. Show the publishers that WE WANT YURI :)

Love this story, been waiting for more chapters. Saw the Vol 1 extra posted, so I was eager to read it. It was definitely not what I expected, but I had a nice laugh from it, lol Anyone who has a dog or especially a cat should love the extra.

Yeah, this manga, to me, is currently (at ch 39) On the border of being either good or really bad. It's getting drawn out and a little confusing actually. So hopefully when the next chapters get added it'll turn out better.

Would love to some day see an extra with their "Wedding Show" they were talking about in the end :) Would be awesome to see!
