I like het, bit less than yuri but yep like it and like this site.
Anyway, the art is pretty. It gives me Kimi wa Petto vibes

I know, right? That was the first thing I thought of. But heck, I liked Kimi Wa Petto and it's been a fair number of years since--some themes get re-used in manga hundreds of times a year, so I'm not gonna go off on it for being derivative unless it turns out the boy actually arrived here after being run over by Truck-kun.

Kinda reminds me of Hekikai no Aion, only yuri. Hekikai no Aion also featured menacing supernatural ocean stuff, mermaids as monsters, and a bleak, kind of depressing vibe; there's even something about the art that reminds me, although I can't put my finger on what.

Ah, yes, it's the dangerous rival . . . who were you again? I've seen a few of those in my time.

Wait, wait . . . they ALREADY KNOW they're into each other? What bizarre heresy against standard yuri is this?

We're not going to have a bunch of chapters each where they're wondering what these odd feelings that they're feeling around each other could POSSIBLY be, and then a bunch where they're thinking, no, it couldn't POSSIBLY be that because they've never felt this way before and anyway they're BOTH GIRLS? I'm shocked.

I'm already a fan, what with how the author used the computer text for some of the narration, and the short opening sequence to give an idea of the characters and the story without spoiling the entire plot like half of all the yuri manhua in existence.

I like it, but presumably the entire plot is that, in order to definitively kill the notion that she would be sexually harassing a man, the publicists decide to take advantage of the fact that she's actually gay by getting her a "girlfriend" which will also cause a different big media stir from the one that is killing her career.
Then, the fake girlfriends will, after initial friction, fall in love, the MC will be inspired by this to get her groove back and write a better novel, the redhead secondary lead's situation will also improve in some way, kisses all round, the end. There may be some smaller arcs between now and that conclusion, e.g. stuff about just why she was pissed off with that other writer and why he set her up, which may be only partly about sordid backstabbing for gain in the publishing industry, but that's details.
So, the entire plot is fairly spoiled, no?

Very nice start and interesting set up.

~Im suprised stuff like this can even still get made in China though given its huge crackdown on all things gay.

Ehhh . . . I have this feeling China does lots of "huge" crackdowns on lots of things, that fairly quickly sort of get lost in the shuffle and forgotten.

I'm sure there's a perfectly ridiculous--um, I mean sensible--explanation for the bruises and money and stuff.

I gotta say, I like the flair of the introduction--just a pair of naked legs sticking up and you're thinking "Interesting shrubbery this building uses".

It amazes me that this stupid idol culture thing is so pervasive that it extends to voice actors. I mean, in North America nobody knows who the voice actors even ARE, except for the occasional normal movie actor who's slumming. It's not like they even need to look like the character. What do you want to bet that in Japan, an unofficial requirement for the voice talent voicing cute girl characters is that they themselves be more or less cute so that the fanatics who find out who they are and what they look like won't be too disappointed? Ick, ick, ick.

Now that's a piece of realism I wasn't expecting--"The rental fee on my stallion was too high!" :D

"I'm leaving, don't do anything weird"
... followed immediately by very much doing that

And I should hope so. Anything that comes out of that brat's mouth should generally be ignored.

The moon is beautiful isn't it? Is that a drill?

I did a 'take' when I saw that. I was like, was that a confession? Did anyone notice it was a confession? What?

Wait how did this other person know what they said that night? ....Were their conversations being recorded?

That's creepy.

That other person appears to be reading the script; I'm pretty sure it's an "outside the story, characters slightly outside their roles" joke bit.

So the thing is, normally I'd say c'mon, with how modern vampires are so often described, the advantages WAY outweigh any disadvantages--you got the eternal life, the magic powers, the super strength, asking to go vamp is a no-brainer!
But in this case it might be it really IS a no-brainer--does turning into a vampire make you an idiot like they all are? That'd be a serious drawback.

Wieners? I mean, this doesn't sound like a TERRIBLE idea, it's just . . . haven't these people heard of BACON?!

(And as a Canadian I would be derelict in my duty not to point out, maple syrup. Honey is for toast, crumpets, English muffins. Pancakes belong with maple syrup. And bacon. Lots of bacon.)

I have a rule of thumb that says naked people with black liquid running down their bodies are rarely good news.
