...somewhat ironic in light of her usual prickly and rather in-your-face manner, but then her character setting is pretty much made out of ironic juxtapositions. Something she seems to be sardonically aware of.

^It's somewhat complicated and tied to Kaguya's backstory as the Princess Kaguya, but short form is they both have a bad case of immortality going and inflict cartoonish violence on each other more or less just to pass the time.
It's rather unhealthy all around really but that can happen when immortality elixirs Go Horribly Right.
^Amber's pretty much her best friend, or as close as she allows herself to have anyway. And her bio heavily implies that before she came to Mondstadt she was a pupil of Amber's grandfather, who went AWOL years ago for as yet unknown reasons leading to the present sad state of the Outrider unit he founded.
...and then there's her character trailer whose ending has no heterosexual explanations. :d
