Thanks in advance for your help!
I am looking for a manga about a pair of orphan brother and sister going to an adult continuation school. The mc (brother) meets a pretty haughty rich girl with some deep rooted issuses He works in a factory. Its a recent release. Been racking my head but cant remember.....google searches turns up older manga like hsod or rumble or hentai. Thanks again.

It's not on this site. Chuusotsu Worker kara Hajimeru Koukou Seikatsu.

It's a Korean webcomic. It's bound to have contrived drama.

The drama so far is pretty fucking contrived.

There's also some character progression. Like near the end of this one, Kaya has a "kyun" moment when Sempai is doing laundry, which I assume is meant to show that she's learning to appreciate the calm, domestic moments as well as the crazed sex marathons.

TBF, between the two club heads Ouka is easily the more over-the-top one and duly tends to dig her own grave a lot...

That's definitely true, but I can't help but like her a lot more than Aoi, for whatever reason. Though I'd probably feel differently if I were the one being constantly harassed by her....

Holy cow! They Just keep going! I've never seen só much tribadism in Just one story!

On a side note, I'm quite surprised Kaya was rather innocent before seeing her sempai masturbating

My favorite part of this was that brief scene with Kaya before the incident. I don't know why, but I really like these characters. The transformation that Sempai's character goes through in the first part was so entertaining, and so well done. The way she compulsively masturbates in the school bathroom but is still super prudish about some things (like dropping the "chan") is just hilarious, and how she reconciles her pragmatic caution and her desire is endearing.

I like the idea of Kaya having something similar to her, as she started out as this girl so confidant and even arrogant, but also so shy she crosses the school to use a bathroom away from everyone else, and only knows about masturbation from health class. This backstory sort of justifies her insane obsession with Sempai too. She wasn't just some pervert who latched onto Sempai after noticing her masturbating; seeing that was her sexual awakening, and a major turning point in her life. Their romance is just somehow so compelling, and I admire the author for not just putting a story around sex, but integrating it in such a way that the sex is the character development.

The whole big happy family ending felt really forced. Can you really call something a positive portrayal of X if i isn't a remotely realistic portrayal? There was like no conflict in this story. I kinda doubt 4 serial monogamists are just going do a 180 and be like "nah this is hella chill" without a decent amount of drama. It would have been a better story if they just switched into couples with the roommates and the adults since the personalities of each of those couples suited each others way better than they're current relationships. Sayaka didn't even seem to particularly like her girlfriend. Idk, I don't mind polyamory but it's at least gotta be a decent story.

A goofy comedy presents an unrealistic portrayal of human relationships!? I am shocked, SHOCKED, to find that gambling is going on in here!

Wow that Yuu controntation scene realky surprised me. I always thought Touko striving to be like her sister was bad, but Yuu really laid it out how in the end that's okay and it's just who Touko is. And we see progress! Touko actually wasnt stubborn for once and listened. Excellent writing this chapter.

That being said, i do hope the play arc will end soon and it will move onto other things (if the series doesnt end with the play....). It has been dragging these past couple of chapters. There are good parts to each chapter, but overall Touko's conflict felt redundant since nothing new was really happening until this chapter.

I agree mostly. I think the past couple chapters were a little weak, explaining things that didn't need to be explained, but this chapter really made up for it. I was surprised by Yuu's action, but they still made a lot of sense. I think that's one of the strengths of this series, developments can be unexpected but well foreshadowed and consistent.

I guess it's not necessarily black or white, but I do think that Azusa is conflicted, to some degree, about her behavior.

Hell, after Midori slaps her for saying "Cheating is why the sex is so hot" she just brushes it off and fails to take a hint, she doesn't seem to have any idea how angry she made Midori with that comment.

I read that as her saying that in order to make Midori angry. When Midori asked her to date, she looks conflicted for a second, and then says the thing that is guaranteed to make Midori most upset. Either she is unbelievably dense, or that was calculated.

Why would you call it a fiasco? I think it was a rather well-executed arc and the protagonist succeeded in getting what she wants (for now), so I don't see how it is a fiasco from either in- or out-of-universe perspective.

Are we reading the same series? That was almost hilarious how bad it was. Why'd she give him back the ring instead of selling it to cancel out his debts? Why'd he repeatedly attack her and the other girl in public? Why'd she agree to have dinner with him after he attacked the other girl? Why didn't they call the police on him? Why'd the author suddenly introduce the the asshole boyfriend's asshole friends? Why did that whole pile of shit just drag on for 23 chapters, when the ex-boyfriend was the least interesting part of the plot?

Sure, trying to present an inner dilemma for the character might make sense, but it was executed so horribly. We never saw any facet of her relationship with the guy that wasn't complete garbage - he's a cheating, mooching, lying, desperate, pathetic, violent alcoholic. If the author had wanted us to have any sympathy with her lingering feelings for him, then maybe showing us something for her to have feelings about might have made sense. But no. That's not what this story is about, that's why it started with her catching him cheating and ending the relationship. The rest was a foregone conclusion - it was obvious how it was going to end from the beginning, and nothing of value would have been lost if he had straight up disappeared immediately upon them breaking up the first time. As it is, this did nothing but make the main characters seem like lunatics for ever having any attraction to him in the first place.

Not to mention Azusa is practically your average girl-who-thinks-she's-justified-for-cheating-because-it's-arousing type who you'd see in a Kodama Naoko work.

I think you're misreading most Kodama Naoko works. Her characters who cheat and betray their partners are generally filled with a deep sense of self-loathing. They know what they do is bad, but they are compelled to do it nonetheless. They're soap operas with super melodramatic characters torn by their overpowering emotions.

Azusa in this story is hard to analyze, since we don't see much. I'd say there are two possibilities:
A) She is exactly how she appears on the surface. She likes the sex she has with Midori, she enjoys the thrill of cheating, and she doesn't worry about it or feel bad at all.
B) She too feels a deep sense of guilt. When Midori asks her out, she pushes her away in the cruelest way possible, feeling remorse for the lover she is betraying. After all, Midori asks her literally right as Azusa gets off the phone from lying to her girlfriend.

Two things cause me to believe B is more likely than A. First is Azusa's face. She has that awful fake smile, but it slips off right before she refuses Midori, and again right as Midori says "good bye" for good at the end. Second is that she stops walking at the same time Midori does. Why would she do that? If her only interest in Midori is that she likes the sex, then is her sheer lust causing her to stop in her tracks at the thought of never being able to have that glorious cheating sex with her again? I don't think that makes sense. There must be a deeper emotional drive. It is ambiguous enough to go either way, but I prefer to believe that the characters are complex, real people, not that one of them is a Hollywood psychopath.

People shitting on people who are saying cheating is a shitty thing to do and that both these characters are extremely shitty people for doing it suggests otherwise. If that's not what they're meaning to do then they should be more careful trying to get their point across.

Or perhaps you should stop reading whatever makes you angriest into people's comments then complaining about something they never intended? Discussing characters in a story is different than discussing real life. And why do you care so much even if other people don't find cheating as reprehensible as you seem to?

Personally, I find stories about cheating much more interesting than stories about being cheated on. In the second case, the primary feeling, betrayal, dominates everything else, while in the first case you get far more interesting questions about what would drive someone to do something they know is wrong, and how they react to their own actions.

two twisted souls condemned to suffer with each other

I am not sure where the suffering is supposed to be. Azusa clearly did not feel bad at any point. Midori felt bad momentarily when her girlfriend called, and later when she was rejected and realised what kind of a relationship this is. Not exactly rising to the level of suffering. If they continue with this, which they probably will, I rather doubt there would be much actual suffering. And if there would be, I imagine it would mostly be centred on Midori, because she is the one who genuinely expressed wanting a relationship with Azusa, even though it is obvious she gets off on the cheating as well.

Though they try to hide it, you can see the self-hatred.

Keep in mind she's given zero logical reason why she believes she's entitled to possess Shio.

I don't think most people think about "logical reasons" they're "entitled" to "possess" another person. And this is definitely not a story for logical reasoning. However, Satou has given two reasons:
1. Satou loves Shio, she was unhappy before, but she can be happy when Shio is with her.
2. Shio loves Satou, she was unhappy before, but she can be happy when Satou is with her.

Satou knows herself and her own feelings, so we can accept 1 as true. We have some idea of Shio's personal history and prior home life, and her awful flashbacks are instructive as well, so 2 looks to be true as well. Judging by the fact that Asahi lives on the street, it seems that Shio's options in life are to live with Satou or live in an orphanage. In the long run, I'm sure it'd be better to grow up under state care than to grow up trapped in the apartment of a murderer, however much you love her, but Shio's current environment is at least better than her previous one.

None of this is to say that Satou is "good". She is a murderer, a liar, a thief, and a manipulator. But she does have justifications for her behavior. In a sense though, none of that is important, since she is convinced that anything she does is justified, if it is for Shio's sake (or what she deems to be for Shio's benefit). The only real point Satou has in her favor is the sheer corruption of the world she inhabits, and the utter depravity of most of the other characters. Satou argues that Shio is too pure to be allowed out into such a horrible world. Within her possibly deranged worldview, her actions make perfect sense.

Short description because it's all I have. Last I read it, it was only 4-6 chapters in. It's about a girl and her SiL living together alone as the Brother/Husband is dead. The girl wants to be more independent because she doesn't want to put more stress or pressure on the SiL and the SiL wants to be able to pamper her little sister. On chapter near what I last read of it had to do with the purchase of a shirt for a school festival.

While the exact setup describe by OP is not exactly my cup of tea, I think it reflects badly on respondents that someone comes in and asks, "Do you know any stories like this?" and the majority of responses are some variant of "What you like is bad, you are bad, and you should feel bad."

14-sai no Koi and Binetsu Kuukan both have something along these lines. But it's really more just that there is some girl who is in love with the female lead and never confesses, so the love triangle element stays in the background.

Am I the only one here who thinks that the husband is gay and his business trips are really just him going to his boyfriend?

Yes, you are. Since you invented that theory whole cloth with zero textual evidence. I think it's more likely that Ryouko is a manipulative cheater who either doesn't care about the impact of her actions on others, or perhaps she feels bad about what she's doing but continues anyways. That's how she is presented in the story. That goes along with the whole theme of the anthology. But you could be right. Maybe in the single panel the husband shows up in you got a "closeted gay man in a sham marriage" vibe from him, and this is actually happy, fulfilling relationship for everyone involved.

Seems like it might be ending next chapter (26), which would be a bummer. Hope she doesn't rush the fuck out of this.

I interpreted the latest as the natural next step after Yuma finally confronted Hotaru - the series would be over unless Hotaru left, plus all the build-up to her moving had foreshadowed it fairly well. It's following that same kind of soap opera logic it has all along. Though I wouldn't be too surprised if it ended soon. I've seen a large number of series where a character suddenly disappears, then there's a time skip, then they reunite next chapter and it's over. Including one by this same author.

Omg, you know nothing about the people involved and you give orders. The worst. Life is not a manga.

Oddly, you seem to assume that this person will blindly follow the advice of random strangers on the internet, without regard to her situation. "Order" suggest a compulsion to obey. Would you feel compelled to obey advice from someone you've never met? In other words, don't get your knickers in a knot.
