Story-wise the end of Volume 3 of the manga seems like the perfect point for a season finale but Tilty being featured in the first episode suggests they'll put in stuff past that bc she doesn't appear until vol.4. That seems like a lot to cover for a single cour though.

That only covers a single volume of the LN, definitely not enough for a full 12 episode adaption

This managed to be kinda sweet at the end there after all. Taken as a whole I think i can appreciate this story for what it is and how things went down. Definitely expected much worse, given that it's a Akiyama Haru manga xD

We didn't get the happy polyamory ending for everyone involved that i was hoping for but it definitely still is a happy ending imo. It's about getting pulled in by explosive, passionate love, being impulsive for it but in the end recognizing (and making peace with) the fact that it wasn't sustainable.
I don't think this is smth either of them regretted at all in the end, they seem content both with each other and the life they're living from them onwards. The connection they had was meaningful, no matter how short it ended up being. I can jive with that.
All in all a decent polyamory story, for me personally as someone who's polyam herself.

It's written by a yuri creator, but there isn't really any in the series or promo material as of yet. Not really a hint of anything between any of the characters except that the two mains both have amnesia and were apparently test subjects together or something. The story is mainly focused on the fantasy elements and uncovering their backstory

i wonder if we'll ever get an arc about Sara and Nina being like "oh shit, maybe we too can be just like Yuzu and Mei :0" bc, Sara being into Mei aside, it always felt like that'd be the endgame for them as well.

DIY is over too in a way that doesn't leave much room for season 2, but that's good, they told a good story and gave us everything we wanted and they totally knew that what we really wanted was the 2 lead together and being honest for once! wow Purin really is roommate material, huh? that was a good subtext... So much skinship.

I wasn't expecting Joboko to leave just like that, I guess I forgot it was supposed to be just one year? or half a year idk, they could've turned that into solid drama for 2 o r 3 episodes but they focused on the builds, that's good too.

It was really cuuuuuute, one of my favorites this season. Silly Miku really went all tsundere bc airhead Serufu on a whim said "no need to take care of me anymore, i'm in middleschool now!" and she didn't like that bc taking care of her makes her happy xD absolute gay disaster
