Sacchan dialogue with Remi implies that she does love Ruki the problem is that she has a sense of self worth terrible and isn't used to stand on her own. Remi's caught on this and is taking advantage of her.

Frankly, this is feeling like a classic case of NTR where Ruki is trying to be comprehensive while some shady character is messing with Sacchan. And is even worse because Remi's supposed to be the friend of both of them, friends do not pull that shit.

(Real quick: I think I have the gist of what NTR means, but can someone actually spell the acronym out for me? Thanks)

Hopefully they can repair it, but these yuri authors do love their drama turned up to 11 sometimes.

Aghhhh. It irks me to no end how cliche the route is going. But in a way, it's kinda accurate. I'm just sad that Ruki is so afraid of turning into Sacchi's ex that she's actually jeopardizing the relationship by not giving Sacchi what she apparently needs.

Things are so unclear with Ruki and Sacchi. I thought they were dating??? They had sex?? Ruki confessed?? But last page has Ruki going all "who am I to Sacchi that she has to tell me stuff", so I'm thoroughly confused. And pretty irked.

I'm not the OP of that first comment, but I'm also a fluent native Chinese speaker in both Mandarin and Cantonese (family is from Hong Kong to be specific) and I can attest that "xiao" or 小, paired with (usually the last part of their given name) like, 小明 (Little Ming) is pretty much an endearing nickname. So, basically that Chinese equivalents for the Japanese -chan or -kun.

Were did you hear this? As far as I know, Xiao means many things in Chinese (Surname, type of flute, rank used by field officers in the Chinese military, a legendary creature and the name of a river) but not a term of endearment, unless its a slang term I never heard of before.

Seeing as she referred herself by her full name, "Sun Jing" or 孙璟, we can see that the "Xiao Jing" or 小璟 is what her classmates/friends call her (as her nickname). Roughly translated would be something like Jing-chan (but 小 is pretty gender neutral, so technically it can be Jing-kun too.) Interesting to note is that only the girls/friends call her Xiao Jing, but the boys call her by her full name.

Also, a quick look on Wikipedia (which is where you got your definitions of "Xiao") will show you the following:

Xiao:
Surname = 萧 Traditional /肖 Simplified
Type of Flute = 簫 Traditional / 箫 Simplified
Military Rank = 校 (Which is really Jiao)
Xiao County (Xiaoxian) = 萧县
Mount Xiao/Yao = 崤山
Xiao River = 潇水
Xiao (myth) = 囂

But Xiao Jing (or Sun Jing)'s classmate call her: 小璟

It's an endearing nickname like "Little Susie". Easier to compare it to the Japanese -chan and -kun though.

This was glorious. I wasn't actually sure if Himeka actually liked Hyou in that sense, but Ranka kinda made it obvious here and this confession was kinda hard to ignore.

And then Hyou had these moments like this and this that pretty much confirmed it was mutual.

Tbh. The art was wonderful, but I was somewhat surprised there was so much violence that it didn't turn into gore at one point. Anyhow. This has 100% re-read value.

I just hope the new characters help promote growth in Mei and Yuzu, rather than stunt it. I've had enough of this bs. I need them to start communicating, like they should've, since chapter 3.

Agreed. I actually felt like the pacing was just too fast for me too---and if I were in Yuzu's shoes, I would have reacted the same. Problem is though, in real life, I would've tried to explain to Mei and we would have communication which seems to be the crux of all problems in Citrus.

I'm fluent though. Translating singular characters in Chinese can sometimes be tricky though. A lot of them need another character for context.
