The one thing I'm wondering is whether this will actually look deeper into the workings of Shizuku's brain. It's pretty clear that at the very least before the curry incident, she lacked any concept of people not necessarily meaning strictly what they say, entirely missing the sarcasm of the other girls in the moment that started her down that path, seeing Ruri's apologies as genuine, not something she felt pressured into by Shizuku, and not understanding how much it all hurt Ruri until the moment she actually cried. Seeing how she's avoided any even slightly significant relationships with people outside her family since, it's hard to tell if she's all that better now either. Considering Kaori's opinion of her novel it could be possible to an extent, but then again, we don't actually know enough about its content to judge.

the idea of grooming some str8 girl into liking women literally makes me wanna vomit. i can't get into this story because it just feels like exactly the type of thing some hetero women think lesbians are like ( predatory af ) which is disgusting to me so i'm quitting this.

Eh, I mean, I do get where you're coming from, and a lot of this story is questionable, but at the same time, the "straight" girl has agreed to this beforehand, and seeing how quickly she already fell for Aya, I really question her actual straightness.

Now there's a girl who knows what she wants. Thought it over, decided this was OK, goes for it. :D

As long as there's been no official word about it ending, it's still only your assumption, though. And even if it should happen, it may well be ending as planned and not axed, that word gets thrown around too often even when it's not the case.

And as much as I hated the president, that part, even as horrible as it felt, was clearly not padding, but experiences that helped Mei learn more about love and overcome her trauma.

Like i said before, it would be way to simple and cheap to end poly just after she see a poly relation. I know some of you wouldn't mind but honestly, it's really bad pacing.

Why would you assume it's axed and ending already? Surely just having seen a hint that this solution is also possible for their situation is not going to magically solve all their issues? It's just one part of it.

Sorry. But honestly, after they both had such strong arrows for her and we got that handholding scene, I could see no other way this could end once she actually started to accept having feelings as well.

Nothing amuses me more than seeing the reactions to the poly developments here when it was clear from chapter 1 it would go there...
