Edit: The people here are toxic as fuck, Jesus fucking Christ. I hated the ending but saying the author betrayed you and it wasn’t worth your time is fucking hypocritical when all of us are leeching free entertainment from that author’s livelihood.

Some people, myself included, were excited when this got picked up for distribution outside of Japan. Unfortunately, the author's choices have made me completely reconsider buying this series and supporting them once it's possible. Buyers and potential buyers both have the right to criticize an author for such a terrible ending, so go back to Twitter if you feel it necessary to call valid criticism "toxic."

I see, the title is 'My Unrequited Love', so it ended when it stopped being unrequited. It's not about them getting together, or how they passed from unrequited love to having a relationship. It's like a slice of life that instead of being wholesome it has drama. Reading unrequited love is probably the payoff in and of itself. Probably only for tMnR.

Luckily I only started reading this about the time the previous chapter came out, so I didn't invest years of my life into it the way some people did. The sheer rage from people who read from the time the first chapter was posted has to be able to be felt across the planet as a temperature shift.

The ambiguity of the situation is definitely pissing a lot people off right now, including myself. My yuri goggles are too fogged up to work correctly on this one.

Since neither Reina nor the mastermind so much as acknowledged how similar they looked, I'm assuming this author is just afflicted with samefaceitis, such a sad disease.

Reichii apparently living nearby doesn't bother me. He's close to his sister, he cares for Kaoru, they divorced amicably (she SAID so) year ago. If their jobs let them live near each other, why not? It's cool to have nearby friends and family whom you like.

This is the part that's making me think the ending is even worse that I assumed and that Uta and Kaoru really are just living as roommates. No one with a shred of empathy would purposefully move in across the hall from their brother/lover's ex-husband. Since Uta and Kaoru both are nothing like that, this ending just became so much more depressing for me. Never reading a story from this author again.
