Saehyun knows about all these nasty details.. he actually cares about both, Sumin and Seju. Seju's father does seriously care about Sumin for some reason even though the pair broke up.. he also said it loud an clear in ch59. WHY!

I just remembered this, so Es0tric and mpgpeg.. you were thinking about Sumin being born in a rich family.. given what TG said "similar background".. let's check the facts:

1. ch2, look at the area where Sumin lives.. also look at how Sumin thinks of Seju being "lucky"
2. ch8, Sumin's reaction towards the expensive bottle of wine that Seju got her for her birthday.
3. ch10, Sumin is not very familiar or accustomed to travelling, take another look at Sumin's room where she looks for the ring.. compare it to Seju's room when she was a high schooler.. than to her luxurious, panoramic view, double stories condo!
4. ch44, the car that Seju gave to Sumin.. Sumin's father was hesitant to buy her a car in the first place..
5. ch56, aside from Seju's luxurious room.. Sumin knows that her parents can't afford private elite university's tuitions like Seju's. (and the mere fact that she finds herself too ordinary)
6. Sumin studied with Seju at the same university, but she never started her own business.. why? (remember, Sumin is an only child and she was also compensated with large sum of money for the abduction that Saehyun caused)
7. ch59, Sumin tells Sungji that she didn't take the bus for a decade ago.. and remembered that the one who takes her to school was Seju XD.. do you think Seju ever took the bus in her life?

Bottom Line:
the similarity in background is NOT in wealth.. Seju's family is one of the Chaebols (not your average rich.. we are talking filthy rich!).. while Sumin's family are the kind who live in a normal apartment.

• financial status similarity: excluded

I am suspecting deeper similarities in background.. a political level rather than economical.

I don't know if we will.. but given the comparision that Sungji once had between the two.. they are indeed some sort of a diffrent shade of each other.. same way that Miss Choi is a darker version of Seju.. whether we would see her again or in a sequel, depends on what Team Gaji would want to achieve from that.. I find her apperance is 50% possible.

put into consideration how the color is intensified, Sumin's hair is not really black if compared to other black haired girls in the Manhwa (Sungji's friend and Camilie -Dawoon's ex).. Foxy lady says it is "Midnight blue" but I think it's a darker shade of grey.. or Dawoon's hair.

I see the similarities in the embrace? My mind is not in the state to deduce right now, I should be studying. XD

For that, even if Sumin found out that the bartender didn't sleep with Seju, Seju doesn't care about the past.. she won't avenge Sumin for it..back then.. they both made mistakes, but currently we know how both look into their relationship:

Seju: is all about starting over.. make it right
Sumin: is all about the past.. she wants it back

maybe that's why.. she said in ch64.. even if they wanted to go back in time..it is not the time they are both thinking about

which is mainly based on how I feel about those born into money.

I've been always perceived as lucky, spoiled and incompetent because I was also "born into money".. however, that only pushed me to become an overachiever.. still yet, I am not taken seriously no matter what I do.. I guess Sumin was right in ch2.. Same thing for Seju I guess.. she is a very successful business woman, but all that is not taken seriously either.

no, they never did.. actually the only time Sungji tried to know was in ch29, Sumin flinched and never discussed it.
there is a theory however, that Nammi told Sungji "from her perspective" which may not be the full truth (even Seju does not know the whole truth about the scar), any ways, Nammi's perspective handed down to Sungji is the main reason Sungji thinks that Seju is a "a bad and violent person"
that's maybe why Sungji said to Sumin in ch51: "I don't think you will hurt me in that way" -which way does Sungji mean?

I'm now doubting chapter 82 was a dream to be honest. I feel like those things were actually said and then Seju fell asleep while Sumin was replying to her.

ch82 is a dream indeed.. Seju closed her eyes first > had the dream > and later Sumin woke her up

and Sumin won't call her Seju-yah unless she is under a lot of emotional pressure (ch54, ch74, and ch85)

My one question then is why is the dream in chapter 86 in grey but the scene in chapter 14 in black like all the other flashbacks?

good question.. actually, even Seju's dream in ch82 was not in black, but a little of fading panel.

we have to agree on this, Sumin had the tattoo on when she first came back to Seju after their breakup in ch27 (you came back..), implying that Seju never really saw the scar without the tattoo.

ch14, last panel.. is a dream, where Sumin sees herself scarred on front of Seju.. facing her face to face.

ch86.. Seju slept and dreamt about herself still wearing the bandage.. but later on in the dream.. the bandage disappears.. (at least subconsciously)

my inference on this that they both see each other's imperfection and they know that the other knows their scars, mistakes and their real self. I even mentioned before, in ch14 Seju was licking Sumin's scarred shoulder.. and Sumin in ch86 is doing the same to Seju's.. as if they are accepting this emotional and physical imperfection as a part of their relationship (whatever it is)

I forgot to mention that Gaji was conflicted between grey and orange for Dawoon's hair.

about the hair color.. we discussed that for Sumin, Ms. Choi is a version of Seju somehow.. similarities in physique, social status and even what both demanded from Sumin (just be by my side). Whether Seju is indeed different than Ms. Choi, that's another matter. (which Sumin later discovered)

back to the hair color:
Maroon = Red + Black
Pink = Red + White

is it a hint by Gaji to signify that Ms. Choi is a darker version of Seju?
why Pink for Seju? what does that color mean:

let's read this:

I liked every comment you made about this chapter.. specially these parts..

It's tad opposite of each other, those scenes (you could see it clearly this chap, how different present and the past are) but I really love it. I love all the questions "why", "what-if" in their relationship, regrets, sadness.... xDDDDD.

just them and their problems XDDDD, why they became like this and all. They knew their problem was from within, and how they ended up here is not from the third person. Why they're broken and be separated even now is not because of the third person but themselves.

I tend to analyse the Manhwa a bit in a dry way.. this is refreshing ~

But joke asides, when we took that bet, I honestly thought SejuxSumin is impossible (still is, btw), not because I supported SuminxSungji for their love but because the other couple is not plausible so I went for the couple that everyone should love xDDDD.

Alright, I may not know a word in Korean, but when I first saw this chapter.. I was truly amazed. Till the end of time I would say, the ending was planned right from the beginning.. everything is connected.. every panel can be traced to another..
