Next chapter in 2 months? Please tell me I'm wrong!

This entire volume seems to have been centered around Koyuki's (and eventually Kaede's) side of things and her inability to tell Konatsu what she wants, so hopefully the next one shifts back to her perspective.

Kaede's siblings were simply mentioned in the previous chapter, never shown so far. Yamagishi has been around since chapter 1, she's the other girl in the home economy club Kaede is always with, although she wasn't called by name until I believe the culture festival, specifically page 21 of chapter 13.

I see best girl usurped the chapter title.

End of the month. The magazine comes out around the 25th or so and the scanlation follows a few days later.

Man, I hated when they cast an iguana in the theatrical adaptation.

Hey, better for the author to take her time than to rush things. It's not like she's dilly-dallying with filler, Koyuki having to leave in a year will certainly be the main 'conflict' going forward.

There is, look at the last page of the current chapter, it says the next one is out on March 27th. Also Hachimitsu Scans put this on their website: "And yes, we will be releasing the next Nettaigyo chapter this week."

Well, it can be seen as accurate for the very beginning of the story before Konatsu gets to know anyone at school. Of course a more accurate description would be that both need each other to break out of their respective shells.

Also, it's great to hear about a western release, that means it's not far off from releasing in my own country as well.

It's even funnier when you consider that in today's episode Anne and Grea are playing a prince and a princess and there's the whole prince/frog connection in fairytales.

I love the paneling in the scene where Koyuki and Kaede are talking in Koyuki's room. Great chapter.

It's not like getting first place guarantees you get an anime anyway, it's more like a popularity poll for anime producers to look at. Last year the highest-ranked picks that got anime adaptations ranked 8th and 9th (Yagate Kimi ni Naru and The Promised Neverland IIRC).

The subtext tag is right there, you know. Also nobody knows how the series will go and most people like it regardless of whether it will go full yuri or remain subtext.

Bit of a shame this didn't come out last month since it was Christmas-themed, but nice chapter nonetheless.

It was just a few weeks, you know. There's already been several time skips of that lenght throughout the manga, and the public exhibition near Christmas had already been mentioned in the previous chapter so it was easy to guess that's when the latest one would be set. Also, the third-years' eventual graduation had been mentioned in chapter 14 as well when talking about the school trip.

I was replying to Ryunmi's post by saying that if they'll ever kiss, I expect it to happen at the very end.

They did go on that almost-date on the cat island during summer break and to the town festival afterwards. They also text each other frequently although it doesn't seem like they regularly hang out on weekends. I guess that they're busy with schoolwork since they spend every afternoon on weekdays at the aquarium club, which is where they're together most of the time. Personally, I hope one of their next steps is going out once casually without the pretense of club activities. Also, since next chapter releases January 26th (a painful wait that's going to be) and this one kinda had early Christmas elements, I wonder if it might be set around Valentine's Day.

I understand and I also hope things will conclusively develop before Koyuki graduates. Still, there's a year and three months left before that happens and only six months have currently passed in-story and I feel like things have been developing at a nice pace so far. This chapter seems like a pretty important turning point for Koyuki's character if she's come to accept that it's okay to stop putting on an act in front of others, so hopefully from now on she can be more open with Konatsu as well.

Well, that's everyone, isn't it? I hope there aren't people who's overall enjoyment of it entirely hinges on how it will end.

@Batzi: Yeah, it wasn't a matter of hopes as much as one of expectations. I'm sure everyone hopes for a full-fledged yuri end, but as you can see, some people are expecting it while others seem already resigned to it not happening. I found it amusing that there were several consecutive posts on opposite sides.
