It already has an official English title, "Gushing over Magical Girls", so I imagine they'll use that one.

According to Wikipedia Aki would take the title of princess consort once they are formally married,and later Queen consort once Momo becomes Queen regnant. While Aki herself still wouldn't technically be royalty, and doesn't share Momo's political/military power, she will have the same social rank and status as her spouse.

I get why many ppl find Aoi polarizing but I personally really like her as a character. And she really didn't do anything actively bad, most of it was just things not working out for her either bc she got focused on the wrong thing or bc she self-sabotaged.
Her biggest and only "fuck up" to me was when she crossed the line kissing Nanami without her consent in that hotel after their date, that's all really.

I wouldn't necessarily say that Aki is blaming herself for everything that's happened. To me it looks more akin the scene in Bloom Into You where Yuu finally confesses to Nanami:

Realization (she's in love with me, that's why she put distance between us)
V
Reflection (she was purposefully antagonistic to drive me away bc me insisting on getting a reason was painful for her)
V
Determination (to do whatever she's gonna decide to do with this revelation going forward)

So it's less blame and more realizing how her own actions catalyzed Shiho's behavior (difference between "a reason for" and "to blame for" is important here imo)

No matter how troublesome and stupid these teenagers, I still like this series. Reminds me of watching my old high school drama, granted and thankfully no drugs are involved here. I actually can’t wait to hear this drama unfold with voices behind them and we already know we’ll get the Shiho drama considering she has her VA announced too. Now I’m curious at how the anime will end bc they can’t pull of making Shiho appear before the two get together and we all know how Yuri anime always likes to save the characters getting together at the end.

Considering that Himari and Yori get together relatively early in the series my best guess is they'll do that around the halfway point and then another 6-ish episodes of the Shiho arc. no idea where they'd leave it off though, can't imagine them cramming 5+ volumes in half a cour :thinking:

I'm kinda surprised nobody has mentioned Love Bakudan here yet (unless I missed it somehow).

As far as i can tell from my limited experience with VNs it's a pretty sizable one, with a filled-out cast of interesting (and not to mention hot) characters, all with mutually unique routes. I haven't played all of them but the ones i did I enjoyed a lot. The only thing holding it back for me is that it has no voice acting sadly, but that aside it's pretty great.

Same devs just released their new game called Good Luck Baby! as well, haven't really checked that one out yet though.

I know it's only going to hurt more later but i'm glad they included the gayᵗᵐ sidequest in NieR:Automata Ver1.1a. At least the hook for it, they better follow through.

This issue about whether it's a het or yaoi crush is simply a matter of perspective. On the meta level It is a yaoi crush bc Rika is a guy and Satsuki, who's also a guy, is crushing on him.
But on a personal level for Satsuki, he's crushing on Rika "as a girl" bc of his conditioned perspective on Rika's outwardly female presentation.

Which is to say, his feelings may be straight (right now) but really, it's gay.

i have never particularly been a fan of the manga trend toward overly-long, overly-descriptive, on-the-nose manga titles (“A Story About These Characters, What’s Going to Happen to Them and How It’s Going to Turn Out!!”), and this series is a good example of why not.

That mixer was always a bit of a fakeout anyway, and at this point it’s so far in the thematic rearview mirror that we had to be reminded that it ever even happened by a side-character callback. My point being that any title for this one that doesn’t communicate “lovey-dovey domestic bliss” is so outdated as to constitute false advertising.

i think at least half of it comes from how most of these stories start out as oneshots. And for those the title makes perfect sense, it says right on the tin what you're getting into. But then when a story like that gets picked up for a serialization they keep the name bc it's the same work/to make sure it's recognized as related thus creating said issue

So the way that conflict in MagiRevo resolved ended up being kinda bittersweet in the end, didn't expect that but I liked it. Algard didn't earn any sympathy from me but def some pity that wasn't there before.
