I do not think so, the way the two Haruka and Kanae are talking it is as if this is the first time since the note they have addressed this. Just both are actually feeling exactly the same at the same moment and holding hands in the couple style with finger intertwined came natural to them. Maybe not but that is how it feels to me. The Two love each other so much they were like a couple before they ever dated so the transition was nothing other then both now officially can acknowledge it.

I sure hope this is true and we didn't miss anything, but that just makes me wonder, "what the hell was Kanae doing that entire time?" Maybe it hasn't been that long in-universe and the rate of chapter releases makes it seem longer, but damn girl.
