jakan1234's theory makes sense. Although No-Rae was the first to become aware of her feelings, I believe Seol-A was attracted to No-Rae first,the flashback in chapter 39 is kind of a proof for that. For now, it looks like Seol-A's having a hard time to act like she normally does around No-Rae due to her own frustration, and No-Rae seems to be picking it up fast. If Seol-A keeps this act of hers maybe No-Rae will confront her and ask what is wrong, why is she behaving strangely, just like Seol-A did back then when No-Rae was running away from her. It could be a long ride for them or just a couple of chapters long. I'm just hoping that Seol-A won't try to escape her feelings, and date a random guy after this.

It took 39 chapters, an accident, and beating up a squash ball for Seol-A to finally realise her feelings. It will be kind of hilarious to watch the both of them (who are awfully aware about their feelings for each other) act around each other from now on xD

Now, who took off No-Rae's jacket? Was it No-Rae, or Seol-A? Or did it just slipped of No-Rae's shoulders when she was leaning to hug Seol-A?
Also, Seol-A's expression on the few last panels, was she surprised by No-Rae's hug, or did No-Rae's hug triggered something in her? like maybe Seol-A realising her feelings. I wish

No, she said Ran-chaaan. At the end she said Ran-sama for Miss Ran.

Oh that is actually rather illuminating for me in that i get the meaning of "Ran-sama" in that context better than "Miss Ran". The former accentuates Keiko's fangirl mode, haha.

Same for "Ran-chaaan" - it now gives me the sense that Keiko was being clingy/attention-seeking, rather than a "heeeey baby" vibe.

"Sama" is the more formal and politer version of "san", and it is used to address a person with a higher status and when you need to be very polite. "San" is similar to "Mr, Mrs,and Ms" in English and is often translated to that, but there's no similar way to address "sama" in english. Translating honorifics is pretty difficult since it is not the same in every language, what translators can do is to find the one with the closest meaning to the language they are translating it to, or sometimes not translate it at all if they can't find anything close to its meaning. That is why most of the times it does not really deliver the meaning, nuance or feeling of a particular word that well (if my sentence makes any sense). So, you're not wrong if you get the meaning "Ran-sama" in that context better than "Miss-Ran".Sorry for the long post. Do correct me if I'm wrong >.<...

The accident happened at around 9.30pm. No-Rae's supposed to get off work at around 8.00pm, but she said that she might get off a little later than that. So, maybe No-Rae did not answer the call because she is still at work, and will later call Seol-A. Another possibility is that No-Rae's walking back home from the station with that blue umbrella Seol-A gave her. Well the last 2 possibilities is either No-Rae was on that bus and is among those 20 injured people, or she is among the 3 people who died, and that blue umbrella will be used to identify No-Rae's belonging. But come one, SSmba's not that cruel right? No-Rae must be safe, and will soon return to Seol-A's arms.

Oh my...Now I'm wondering what role will that blue umbrella play here. I don't think Ssmba put it there for nothing. For now, I'm just gonna brace myself for whatever drama hopefully no tragedy to come next week.

Yes, I agree with you on that. I get it that she probably included it for the sake of the scene where Ai talks about love at the ariport, but a pimp? It feels forced...Shuninta kind of failed to pull it off this time, the drama.

I am not a fan of the ending...I would be okay with the ending if it ended when Tomo left. That after story, to me, was kind of shitty...especially the appearance of a new character who resembles Tomo Why can't it just be Tomo. I really enjoyed the story, but not very much the ending.

@Martian @Underachiever007 No-rae's previous relationship was with a guy. Both of them are not at an 'identity crisis' teenage age or 'middle-age' crisis. That's why I was surprised by how fast No-rae accepted what she's feeling (if we consider those ambiguous questions towards her oppa is her, asking about homosexuality). This is not about realizing it from an early age.

I believe you missed my point there, since I don't remember mentioning anything about crisis or early age. I am well aware that No-Rae's past relationship was with a guy, that's exactly why I said that it takes time to accept the feeling. No matter how old you are, it takes time when it comes to accepting your feelings first time you realised you are attracted to the person of the same sex. However, it does not take a lot of time to realise your feelings. Realising ones feeling doesn't always mean accepting . From her conversation with her brother, it seems that No-Rae has yet to accept that feeling, or else she wouldn't be asking such question. Oh and I do recall reacting to your previous post about how fast No-Rae noticed her feelings, not how fast she accept it.

No-rae also said that Ji-Hwan has a 'good neck' on one of the chapter. At one point, I started to think that she's bi. But then, the next chapter is back to all shojou-ai. Maybe this is how Samba likes to tease his/her readers LOL

If you read the interview with Ssmba, you should know that there should be no doubt, and a little teasing would make the story more interesting don't you think so.

IMHO living in a conservative society has anything to do with how fast a person notice their feelings, especially if you have already experienced the same feeling before, it wouldn't take anytime to notice it (It would take time to accept it though).
