So we have a most likely happening love triangle, with it being hard to tell Ploy to get out, as she can guilt trip whenever she wants. It was going so well before that call!!

I like the bff. Micchan? Kind of want to see her own arc with her getting her own girlfriend. Why do I always like the side characters more than the main ones ha ha haaa. But yeah being a third wheel is never cool. Plus when youre arranging to hang out with a friend and then they turn round and said "also im bringing my girlf haha" also not coool. Not cool Sana!

I generally hate the childhood friends trope. I don't understand why that would imply that 2 people would make good romantic partners. It frustrates me that so many series utilize it (even if childhood friends don't typically win), and I often default to the stance of rooting against them when they come up in these harem stories.

Here, however, I'm inclined to give the trope a pass. The fact that the MC doesn't remember the childhood friend hardly at all is, although not unique, still refreshing in its own way. It gives the potential pairing some of the freshness of two people meeting for the first time while still allowing for some preexisting connection between the two.

It's just a shame she's also a tsundere, which is yet another overdone, justifiably hated trope itself. Still, it's better than pseudo-mysterious, semi-emotionless characters when done incorrectly, which this story absolutely does incorrectly... Shame.

I kind of like tsunderes, but the more quieter non-violent ones, this one is just irritable.. All tsundere-chan has done is slam doors, hit the MC and shout WHY ARE YOU WITH HER, NOT THAT I CARE. The fact that MC has forgotten about her as a childhood friend as well doesn't really add much for me. Unless she's gonna remember more things later on to try and make tsundere-chan a more redeeming character? Hmm.

I kind of like lori, she is pretty cute. I actually kind of like that she's pretty quiet and has helped out the mc in a couple of scenarios, which im choosing to believe was intentional than coincidental (im gonna throw up, except did she really? or did she just want to save MC from awkwardness) but that could easily be me looking more into it as IT IS a ecchi harem manga. I mainly want MC to hang out with lori more and be a friend/explain general life lessons that the poor girl needs. i dont really care what tsundere-chan does ha ha

But man we're gonna see a lot of 'who do i pick' in this from the MC, as well as 'but im moving away' angst guilt, except cmon MC everyone knows youre not really gonna move

its almost painful reading the amount of subtext in this. I'm hoping that its finally going somewhere now with the two of them moved out, though it'll probably just be the both of them angsting about not seeing each other. though we're not married lolol just friends

It would be nice to see how this finishes. I reckon it'll end in a non committal way, like the two go through whatever backstory issues they have and then move back in together. But we won't be told if its as friends or as partners because lol this is Stretch

agh, really sad but that also made it even more engaging in a way. It's definitely the bittersweet kind of happiness there. Especially when one of them started to cry :(

mangas like this are good though, just to show how messed up the world is over gay/lesbian relationships! Japan especially. I think with that one line, it changed this from being just another cutesy manga to something more thought provoking

i do kind of want the two husbands to be gay for each other too, but pff obviously thats going to tie in far too neatly

Ayane rubbed me the wrong way. I really dislike forcing people to come out and she even guilt tripped her after. Pretty disrespectful in my opinion. Other than their obvious communication problems, I liked the beginning of the chapter. The date was cute. I wonder how the other chapters will go.

Yes this! I was a bit put off at that point. Was getting a bit manipulative towards the end as well when she decides to go hide in the bushes and watch her cry, instead of like wake her up when it was her stop. I did enjoy their date though and hope that they can communicate a bit better!

For all it's worth, he seeks Yuri, but there are hints that the real deal is closer than he thinks. Ie, his sister.

I was thinking that when she popped up, you know! It seems my yuri goggles are always strapped on!

It could've done something else in the middle that wasn't a foiled rape attempt (also guys cmon its always rape if there isn't consent from the other side) but I like that it actually addressed that it WAS rape instead of the girl just crying something like 'but dont you love me waa'

though i guess 'but we're girlfs!' wasnt all that much better. I saw what it was trying to do, but I think a few chamges wouldve made it better

All these characters are amazing. The two main characters are really refreshing and I always grin when I see them both together. Even though its het, gasp shock horror

I also really really love the student teacher relationship. So much hnnnngg there. It's not too much hitting on that its creepy, but not overly mushy either. Plus the bits where the teacher is just by herself freaking out is just damn adorable. And this is coming from someone who is all too ready to dislike teacher/student relationships for the taking advantage/rapey feel which is totally absent with these two. Plus that grin on the train ride oh my god hahaha

Aoi is also a brilliant character, mostly because I can associate with her a lot. I really really feel for her man, falling for the straight girl is harddddd. Her actions are totally believable and I really hope that she can find a new girl soon (pleeease! haha)

I'm really enjoying this story though and I'm just looking forward to see where it goes. :) I think the only meh I have is with the transfer student also having a crush on an older woman and the same with the girl having a crush on her male teacher - when you've got one amazing age gap story going on, any others just aren't as important hahaha

The story development is just so smooth and well-paced, the art is really nice too and I like the writing style. It's an original storyline with a non-cliché interesting leading character...

Yeah, you really get the feeling that the author is letting the characters write the story, instead of making the story write the characters. It's all so natural it's a pleasure to read.

Yes exactly this, so many times I feel the characters change personalities super quick just to fit in with the plot, but this just feels like a natural pace. I'm really enjoying it!

I feel like too much happened too fast in the first chapter. Or at least we had too much of an info dump in the first chapter. We're told pretty much straight away about her hobby that she secretly wants to do as a career, her family situation, her childhood friend for four years who suddenly confesses, her new job, how she feels constrained with it all, then whoops asami gets her drunk so she can sleep with her. Then also says that they can cheat even though she hasn't actually responded to her guy friend yet? it all feels way too crammed in

If it was some of these things then it would have a bit better pacing I think. Doesn't help that the MC is super boring. I also kind of hoped that when she had gone round for drinks we didnt have the 'lets have sex now youre drunk jjust push me off if you dont want it' set up. urghh

I reckon there's gonna be angst a'coming!

I'm really enjoying how this manga is going. It's so refreshing to see the senpai getting all flustered over the MC and going out of her way to see her and buy her presents, etc. I really, really like the MC but then thats because I'm Ace myself and its super interesting to see how she sees relationships and other people.
(Its a bit different for me, but asexuality is one big spectrum so thats not surprising)

MC ofc might not be ace but I'm super hoping that she is. The idea that they would go out but the MC is still a bit "no ty" on the sexual parts of the relationship would both fit in really well with her character and also yay asexuality~ (As I've never read a manga thats dealt with it properly, so it would be nice if this one at least tried :D)

It was just weirdly done in this, the rape part. I kind of liked how she was like 'uh well I wouldnt go out with someone who rapes ,me' but then when she went on to be like well its my fault too that was just :/ no.

I think its meant to be more of a comedy than anything else, not that it was really all that funny haha
