I have a feeling that her ex lover cheated on her. In chapter 6 when her friend Kkyeong reminisced about the scene Norae was drunk and crying to her, wondering why he did it to her, Kkyeong thought "Dont tell me she's like that because she hasnt forgotten about it" as it's similar to Seola's situation where her bf cheated on her. Idk. Just my 2 cents. I have nothing better to do lol

We may get more insight into what Yuji was feeling at the time later, because it isn't really clear.

But if you wear your yuri goggles, you can think that, actually, Yuji had feelings for Seol-a (got jealous because she was all buddy with Oppa) and in that classroom, just voiced her own doubts about how Seol-a viewed her and actually was lying to herself.

My 2 cents.

I personally think that the group had already known Yuji's intention with Seola, thats why they badmouthed her without care in front of Yuji (who on the surface seemed like Seola's best friend at school). They were all standing around Yuji, who's sitting like a leader of the group.

I got the distinct feeling that Yu-ji was being very sarcastic when she said what she said. Sort of like, there was a role in the conversation she was overhearing that no one else was filling and she decided to step in and show them that it could be a two way street. Not only were they "using" Seol-a but Seol-a was using them for friendship so their entire group is fake and based on nothing. I don't think she believes that Seol-a was using them or that she herself, on a personal level, was using Seol-a. She was, in my opinion, voicing how disgusting and harsh that that possibility or truth, sounds and looks. If we are lucky, maybe that old acquaintance will elaborate for us on Yu-ji's personal feelings about the entire thing because you don't make a surprised face like that when caught and meaning what you said. Yu-ji's face was shock and probably realized in that instance that her and Seol-a were never going to be friends again.

I bet all I have that Yuji was just a bitch. In the scene where Seola and Yuji was approached by a scout in the mall, Yuji seemed very interested in the opportunity while Seola just tried to talk her out of the idea. I think Ssamba was giving us a glimpse into her desire to get acknowledged or famous

What are your top 3 favorite chapters of FF so far?

Mine are:
First) Chapter 27 - Seol-a's reaction to No-rae's call in the spa room was just priceless. And No-rae's unaware jealousy gave me a knot in the stomach. The whole chapter gave us a solid look into both character's feelings. Two words: LOVED IT!

Second) Chapter 18 (&19) - I love Seol-a's moment in the bathroom, wondering how she felt shitty about the trip. Obviously because she hasnt been able to interact much with No-rae since the beginning of the trip (having to watch her sleeping on the train with some other girl besides her, having to keep glancing at her interacting with other people like KKyeong, Jihwan, and being kissed by 2 people lol). And That scene when she laid down and watched Norae sleeping was one of favorites. The next day watching sunrise with Norae just immediately helped Seola clear all the shitty feeling, and declared that she was in love with everything around her lol. That was a very interesting development.

Third) Chapter 21 - No-rae's "date" with Seol-a. I know we had seen glimpses of No-rae's interest in Seol-a, but I believe it was the first time Samba portrayed No-rae's heartbeat (ba-dum, ba-dum), awestruck by Seol-a's beauty and getting nervous by her realization. And chapter's ending when Seol-a's getting upset by No-rae's compliment other people's beauty was hilarious. It was very unexpected.

Im loving this series. Morinaga Milk always delivered quality yuri stories (maybe except that school police series lol). But the wait is such a pain compared to some Chinese or Korean authors nowadays. I hope this series will be as long as Girl Friends.

Seems like Seol-a is going back over her past relationships with other women/girls she considered to be close friends and evaluating that time and maybe comparing it to her current relationship with No-rae. I saw this because of her, "sister my ass" realization and then she goes to a wedding of some old schoolmates so I'm supposing she's been deep in thought about her female companions over the course of her life.

I think so too. I like that we're getting deeper into Seol-a's thoughts. In the last 39 chapters, we saw a lot of her actions, but we rarely got any glimpse of her inner thoughts about who she was
But I still want more Seola & Norae's moments. I cant believe Norae was out of the picture this chapter. It has never happend before gasp

Seoul looks so sharp and intimidating in this chapter. Just like how No-rae described her in the early chapters lol
