‘New Power Unlocked’

Evie has learned: Sadism.

Elsa: "Please bully me more."
Evie: "No I won't, how could anybody enjoy this?
Evie's subconscious: "ᶦ ᶜᵃⁿ ᵈᶦᵍ ᵗʰᶦˢ"

I mean, not quite. What she likes, at least based on what she's been thinking for now, is not bullying her, but rather seeing her happy. She's not (yet?) awakening to sadism, she's awakening to yuri.

Ah, if only the teacher had returned to check on them after a bit...

I mean, we all know Adachi can be weird, but the Shimamuras really aren't any better, both mother and daughter... :D

Looks like subscribing was the correct decision after all. Worked just as advertised, if not even better. ^_^

But also, page 2: "seperate" -> "separate"

Tsundere alert!

And I like the new little beast. Already getting ahead of everyone, and getting no resistance at all from an entirely clueless Namekawa. :D

His intent does. Not. Matter. He does not matter. He barely had a name. To what end are you trying to play devil's advocate here?

Devil's advocate? Not at all - that would mean I would actually not agree with her. And I most certainly do.

From the Watsonian perspective, think about what the onlooker sees: Boy tries to defend her and That Lesbian goes fucking psycho on him! Conspicuously absent, on the other hand, is decking the bitches who betrayed and outed her to everyone. Adult authority figures wouldn't look kindly on the latter, but are going to a much dimmers view of an "unprovoked assault" of a good Samaritan. It makes her look unhinged (which, okay fair enough).

Does it matter what the onlookers think, though? She felt the most wronged by him, which is why she retaliated against him. Regardless of how anyone else sees this, what matters here is whether he really wanted to do so, and if those of us who believe that his intent was indeed to belittle her with that comment are correct, he was certainly the right target. Even if she may have overdone it after already having been pushed to her breaking point. Hard to truly blame her after all that she had to go through, though.

Yes. The only reason why I'm calling Risa a bad person right now is because I don't know her perspective yet. That is why I can only assume she's bad. As of now, Yuni has badly written Risa.

Being written as a bad person - whether I agree with you on this point notwithstanding - is not the same as badly written though.

Edit: What she's doing is reminding me of a friend I have. That friend has changed since, but she used to: flirt with boys. And then when they tell her they like her, she would say she doesn't like them back—but continously lead them on with hopeful thoughts, as she continues to flirt and be affectionate with them. And she does this because she liked the thought of many people being in love with her, it made her feel good. And I knew that because, she would constantly keep me updated on it, and even counted all the boys that has ever liked her. And I'll always label her as selfish and narcissistic, because she would hurt these poor boys only for the sake of feeling good about herself. She even told me that it's good to keep tabs on others and keep options available, even if she's dating. What is the word for a person like this?

But this is not like Risa at all. She's always said she likes those she's with, even if it usually doesn't last. She never leads anyone on - quite the opposite, she's rather frank about what she's like, and if she's over someone, that's it. Sure, she does enjoy being loved - surely everyone does - but I see no indication of her being interested in having many people keep on adoring her without giving anything in return like your friend; rather she's always been glad to return their feelings for as long as she was able to.

And that she has stopped this now is actually rather telling about how much she cares for Yuka, surprisingly even for herself.

Well, that's some interesting progress there. Sakura is slowly learning to take control herself.

Those titles deserve their own tag
The Fortunes and Misfortunes of the Famous Moll Flanders, &c. Who was Born in Newgate, and during a Life of continu'd Variety for threescore Years, besides her Childhood, was Twelve Year a Whore, five times a Wife (whereof once to her own Brother) Twelve Year a Thief, Eight Year a Transported Felon in Virginia, at last grew Rich, liv'd Honest, and died a Penitent

LN titles still have a long way to go...

Nice to see this actually take a more positive turn in the sequel. And judging by Risa not having been with anyone else after moving in with Yuka, she may as well have finally found someone she herself truly loves as well, not just her usual way of, as she put it in the prequel, being fine with anyone who likes her.

Did she lash out at the right target? Not even remotely.

Oh, but his intent does make all the difference in whether he was the right target or not. Even if she may have gone slightly too far in clobbering him to that extent, as much as he may have deserved it.

Imagine defending someone because you aren't homophobic and don't feel like whats going on is right and just getting sucker-punched [...]

If that was what happened, things would be different, but the way I see it (see conversation above on this page), he was very much mocking her as well.
