Could you please stop with this already. While the age of consent of 13 is """technically""" correct as that is how it's written in the Japanese Penal Code, literally all prefectures adopted ordinances that forbid sexual acts between adults and those under 18.

PLUS just recently they approved a bill to raise the age of consent from 13 to 16 as part of a reform of the Penal Code, so with that it's just flatout wrong, both technically and practically.

And with that, I've achieved my goal of catching everyone up! This was the first time I've taken on something this big, and I honestly didn't think I'd get far at first. My only experience was a few years ago when I translated a couple of really short one shots from Pixiv. I've never had to do the extensive stuff like redrawing. I had the crudest of tools at my disposal but I wanted to do what I could with them just to push this series along. My biggest motivation was knowing people could discuss the series again. I love reading the discussions and reactions, both good and bad!

On that note, I am but one person. This has started to become a bit of a fun hobby and I would only do it for this series because I like it so much. I will continue to work on the chapters as they come out, if you'll have me! I know there are entire groups that could do far better work than me, and I would never stop them from also stepping in. As I said, I'm doing this for fun and from passion, so I will not be selfish about it. The choice of who/where you want to read from is no business of mine! Anyway, enough talking. I'll see you next chapter!

Oh quick note: I do not have GANMA! Premium so we are sort of perpetually two chapters behind since that's how far premium members get to read (maybe someday I can pay up). New chapters come out every Monday (Sunday for me, time difference) so that's the earliest I can start working on them.

Because neither of the parents really open their mouths enough to see if they have fangs, but at that point how would that work because baby Emielle appears to already have the vampire fangs. World Dai Star has me pleasantly surprised and intrigued. I expected standard idol-anime-ish fare but the cute co-protags, snazzy animation and neat twist at the end of ep.1 got my attention.

It's really less about that and more about whether there will be anything to wait for at all, seeing how Tsuki-chan also has the Chads no Teikoku tag, making that comment essentially a declaration of the Chads dropping this series in favor of whoever else is doing it. So it would be good to know if the other translation is actually worth this, since there have also been plenty of series sniped like this by rather questionable translators.

Yeah, I know. I haven't read the spoilered contents, but I didn't really see any complaints. Guess it's good enough to take the plunge.

Edit: Read up to and including ch. 107 just now. The translation itself is okay, but it's a solo job with what feels like little TS and probably no redrawing. It's fair enough to give it a chance, let's see how long xKs keeps it up.

I think the quality is p servicable at the very least. I can't judge the translation itself but things make sense, flow well and the typesetting looks neatly done.
Personally i view redrawing as mostly optional anyway (i tend to prefer the "leave OG sfx and put romanji/translation next to them" way) and they do seem to do their research and stuff. Can't complain so far. Def better than the three chapters before xKs started that were literally just MTLs.
