That's possible and I wouldn't complain, but I don't think that's what's being set up; we seem to be heading to a battle of ideologies type fight, and Kururi is pretty clearly in the wrong with that "price of friendship" nonsense

We haven't seen her bring the friendship thing up again, so I can't say for sure I understand what she means. Seems to me that at least, Kururi and Zakuro care for each other, even though Kururi has sometimes unsettling ways of showing it (given people the death stare is a bit harsh, but fixing Zakuro's hair and looking after her is fine, and she appreciates her care too), so I wouldn't say that, given what we know for now, that Kururi is in the wrong. If she wasn't designed to be so yandere-looking, it'd be clearer that her actions are sweet.
I wonder why Koyori was so puzzled last time tho, after their conversion in the bathroom (where girls go to socialize, always). I thought she played cus she loves table tennis? Cus it's fun? Isn't that good enough?

tl;dr: I think Kururi is a kind enough girl, she plays for the girl she cares about/is crushing on(?)

Just saw the epilogue on the SAD blog, and I've gotta say I'm satisfied with it. Very glad I can walk away from this series with positive feelings.

Nice that we'll be getting more background stories to the opposing team's ship next week, more of Kururi swooning over the captain is always great
It hypes me up, to imagine them going to the nationals, but I can't help but feel kinda sad, the way it's super built up towards this goal (+how we see all these supposedly super strong girls in the intro of the first ep, after the best school was dethroned by newcomers), but we'll likely never see them get there TTvTT Doesn't seem like it's a popular series. I think it's really good, but I don't really expect a second season/more than 12/13 eps to be made, so it's a bummer :/

I'm honestly enjoying it so much. There's tension from the expectations for winning and losing, but it's generally good fun, it's really enjoyable. Doesn't hurt that there's like, 4-6 ships too and all that blushing (I bet all the girls/characters have their own ships)

Peut-etre de ceux-la, une dizaine m'ont deplu, mais ca serait difficile de te les trouver, ca serait aussi un peu intense lol, d'arriver jusque la. Ca s'est p-e accumule aussi, pour donner le sentiment que j'ai de lui presentement, jsais pas.

From what I've observed, after Nakatani completes all the chapters for a volume, instead of releasing a full chapter the next month, she publishes the omake/volume extra. So, after she finishes the last chapter for vol 4, expect an omake for the following month.
