I don't think there's any yuri in it, or at least, none of the reviews of the book say that there is. Nonetheless the book is translated and is up on amazon http://www.amazon.com/Harmony-Project-Itoh/dp/1421536439. It's also a very short one. It seems like the author has passed away, which is a shame.

The epilogue is in-between ch5 and ch6, if the mods could fix it.

Also any news on the follow-up chapter? Is it only one? Maybe it's to do with Chihiro and Shino perhaps/hopefully getting together?

Edit: Now that I re-read it, it goes properly from ch5 to ch6, so I guess it just looks like it is between them but it connects to the proper one. Still, doesn't look right the way it is now xD

You're right, I forgot that you need the Arm to use those powers, even if the governor Arm was something compact and easy to carry the other girl would have to stay transformed all the time, that would not work in the long run, but does the governor stay in public a lot? If it's just when necessary it could be possible, technically I didn't watch it, just had a look and read spoilers, if the governor stay outside of the public eye most of the time it's still possible she's using her Arm when she shows up.

Even if that's the case, I seriously doubt they'd make it that elaborate. They go ga-ga over her because she's the only 'him' and is portrayed as the perfect male/prince, add to that 'he' is the only one on the island and is supposedly kind and you get the shoujo-manga effect.

That girl Arm probably don't act as aphrodisiac but it's possible, the logical explanation is that Mirei was not really excited but they distorted it for easy fanservice, or Dark is right and in BD will be piss, there is precedent for this kind of thing, but from those three possibilities the easy fanservice is the most probable, so we shouldn't take it too serious.

I'm not saying it's not possible, but I doubt her powers are 'aphrodisiac' in nature. As for the piss, I highly doubt it would be that, if it was then it would be a 'stream' rather than just one drop. As far as I know, girls/women can't hold it in like boys/men can after they start. If they do make it like that in the BDs though, then that scene will have a whole other meaning, because the viewer presumes from the start that those are 'love juices' and not piss.

We've already exhausted the talks about what is and what's not about that particular scene though. I don't think there is any merit in discussing it any further, cause you got your theories that you believe in, and theories I believe, and other people's theories and so on and so forth ;)

With all those girls repressing their desires, the ilusion girl would be rich if she used it in them for the right price...

What makes you think she hasn't ;) That is the first we see of her after all.

But I don't wanna start an argument again, I just don't understand why people try to find excuses for a scene that clearly nobody liked.

Because people want to understand why the hell the writers wrote that scene, that's why. But yeah, I agree, there is no need for further comments on that.

She had that power when she had her Arm, also it's not for sure that it acts as aphrodisiac, that would be one way to explain why Mirei was so turned on but I don't think it is. So for the governor to have those kinds of mind powers she has to have a constant Ecstas that is 'activated', and that is really, really pushing it. She is that 'charming' because the girls believe she's prince-like and a guy. That's enough for the girls who were pent-up on the sex front after sent to the island :P

True, I always thought it was disturbing the lack of black rapists in yuri, we definitely need more!

Forgot the 'guy' part there ;) Not that women raping other women is any better, but still, distinction!

Yeah it's strange that only one girl is disguised as a guy, it would make more sense to be a group or something like that, I bet she's like Charlotte of Infinite Stratos, while disguised is flat, when reveal herself have the biggest "Plot" in the serie.

I doubt it'd be like that about her Plot, she has Torino to compare with and that other one that got tortured in one of the episodes. If she did manage that though, the technique is sure to sell for a lot xD

The thing is though that only one is portrayed as a man, and not multiple people. But yeah, they most likely didn't even try. If you add the radio shows that people watch, they already know there's not going to be a prominent male role.

So it's all for the sake of Plot

^ only thing, it's not necessarily set in stone that Mamori will end up with Mirei ;) I'm not saying she'll end up with 'him' but who knows what the writers have come up with.

Also @Katze, if you payed attention to what they classified 'him' as, it's fairly obvious it's not a 'him' but a her. Really poor job of trying to deceive the viewers if that was their intention, or they just overlooked that part. Who knows.

You could kinda say that part 2 has het.

I forgot that part, but to be fair it don't show anything and is basically used for comedy since Motoko fucks Batou in the ass.

Its more of a self advertising gag I've always thought. Sometimes it doesn't even tie in to the current story as a past happening being referenced. It might just be that they bring up santa hats and mention, "hey, if you happen to like Santa outfits, make sure to check out (lets make a snowman together)". Or if they're cooking and say, "If you like cooking stuff, perhaps you should read (Chef Remilia's Cooking Will Make You Happy!!)"

I get what you're saying, but the examples you gave are completely different. In your examples that stuff didn't happen in those previous stories, while in this one they clearly reference a previous thing that happened.

Rather than sequel, many of Millet Soup works simply belong to a same continuity. They're not thematically linked, so no need to join them.
And this kind of reference is actually pretty common in their doujins.

So if, a few doujins down the line they get together while it keeps referencing previous doujins, they wouldn't be joined? They're bringing up stuff from previous ones while they're advancing the story, that's kind of like what a sequel is.

Another movie that could be counted is the Japanese 'Grey Crow (Haiiro no Karasu)' but that one isn't translated. And I read a review about it but can't really tell if it's real because the reviewer was really.. passionate. xD

What are the implications? Spoilers please.

The MC is a cop who is transferred out to a small village/town for some unknown (at the start) circumstances. After she gets settled in she sees Dohee (the girl) being at first beaten by some classmates, and afterwards thrown around by her (adoptive) father. She takes her in and starts caring for her and the girl gets very possessive/clingy. Skipping a bit the MC gets arrested for [plot reasons] but is released for [reasons] again, and because the girl's father is in jail she ends up alone and for [reasons] either her mother needs to come back or she will be put into protective custody. At first the MC intends to walk away from her for [reasons] but ultimately she asks the girl if she wants go with her, and the last scene is them driving away together. Sounds bland but you gotta watch it to see, and I don't wanna spoil the nice twists.

It's a very good movie though, some nice twists. I've omitted a lot of the plot because you can't really explain the end without seeing it. Plus I don't really want to write a huge wall of text :P
