^The termination from what I remember sounded like the culmination of a lot of factors, the song, the bullying on various fronts, the suicide attempts, and so fourth. Where the company seemingly never tried to work with Selen, or help her. Instead it all came to an unfortunate conclusion where the end result was almost the worst possible outcome. Which is why I'm glad that Selen is doing so much better now, and progressing forward stronger than ever.

Also thanks for expanding on the topic. I was trying to give a summarized short version of events to the best of my ability, but the long version with a lot of added information is definitely helpful.

@Hylarn Ah I guess I'm misremembering the reason of termination. Regardless the whole situation was a mess, the termination was fucked, the suicide attempts are very sad, an awful happening all around. I'm just glad the woman behind Selen survived and has been back on her feet.

^Ninsanji has some bad egg talents among the good ones unfortunately, this led to a situation where Selen was getting bullied by some of her fellow EN talents behind the scenes, and she was also being bullied by management. From what I remember this resulted in her being fired because she tried to kill herself (two attempts), they took issue with that and I believe saw her as a liability. So she lost her channel that she sunk a lot of time, money, and effort into. She tried to let it go, and Nijisanji decided to drag her back into the mess and which cemented how awful they are as a company in the process. Long story short, Nijisanji doubled down on making their company look horrible, while making a total mess of the situation.

Unfortunately it's a catch 22 situation, avoiding the company means avoiding all of their talents, and some of their talents I believe are good people just caught in a bad situation. Also the two Vtubers in this art are JP and weren't involved in the Selen incident as far as I know.

I think DrJamesFox means your (Juanelric) attitude towards the character/series. I do enjoy this ship, I also have my own problems with the series and the way these characters were handled, though I think Toga is an interesting character myself. I think sometimes people come off too strongly with their hate for a series, a character, a ship. Where it's better to focus on something a person enjoys instead. Ultimately though I just can't take on the negativity of others about things I enjoy, life is already hard enough. So I'll keep on enjoying art of this ship lol
