It's a bit of an idealistic story, nevertheless cute. Nothing bad with a bit of guilty pleasure. I shall wait adamantly for the next translation.

Why would you consider this a guilty pleasure? Is there something wrong with lighthearted stories?

Or idealistic ones for that matter??

Huh... wonder why they asked that. I know I did that with a rather.... questionable website back in my more youthfully perverted days but here?? Weird.

I also highly doubt Miu was having any actual suicidal thoughts. It's hardly unheard of for people to think or say or do things they don't mean in that context (let alone a 14-year old kid). I mean, I've been there, and I've had pretty similar thoughts (lol), but not once did I honestly think things would be better if I were dead. "I want to disappear" is much less "I want to be dead forever and forever" than it is, "I want this all to go away; I screwed up everything." But, it's all a matter of interpretation I guess.

A fair number of us appear to have been there. And I didn't expect her to jump or have that accidental slip (but still, was it THAT necessary to cross the railing?!) however, that was pretty damned dramatic lol. The following scenes totally made up for it though and agreed about the mom. That was really funny.

It's not exactly a scanlation group. I just do rough translations for FF/whatever other manhwa I find interesting on /u/

What is /u/ exactly? Is there a site?

Be careful for what you wish for....

Really?? I had absolutely no problem reading it.. Oo..

Also, shouldn't this be moved into the Fluttering Feelings folder as a special or something?

Use double == when making spoilers. But one before you write the spoilery stuff and one after like so:

Anybody else read the other stuff on their site? I just took a jaunt and laughed my butt off: F**K Yeah! Chinese Fashion!

I just read everything they translate, just check twice a week or so. New page of Their Story today. Qiu Tong just realised something about Sun Jing... Hmmm

Not to mention it seems like the clerk caught on lol

I know in many Japanese yuri stories, sometimes one of the girls is said to have not really taken an interest in guy/dating. It could be something along those lines.

My initial search was quite... ahem awesome. Now I did the actual search and is this basically a naval version of Girls Und Panzer?

Is it me or are we getting alot of touhou lately?
This would have been better with some serious yuri lol but still a fun read ^_^

We always get a lot of Touhou, it happens. I tend to ignore pretty much all of it since it's not really my thing, though I read some of the one shots from time-to-time.

Just finished reading Maple Love by Otsu Hiyori. There are so many hearts popping up in it that I think it fits the valentines theme. Aaaand then I reread Othello because, it's my favorite Otsu Hiyori story though Aqua Blue Cinema comes preeeetty damned close.

I also agree that we should bring 'em back as well. Most stories include a valentines/Christmas themed chapter and there are plenty of one shots as well covering both holidays.

I love this. As a 30 (okay 32) year old lesbian, stories about high school girls just make me roll my eyes, but stories about older lesbians are more interesting to me.
Especially as a lesbian who's trying to reproduce (I have an insemination at the dr's tomorrow). It'd be nice if my wife had a reliable younger brother who could provide sperm, but alas, we're going with a willing-to-be-known donor from a bank.

Good luck! And agreed about high school yuri stories, they get tiresome after a while...

True. Yuri in high school setting gets REALLY old. Adult lesbians are just much more fascinating to read.

Pretty much, it must also be because they are rarer stories around here as well.

Was this a continuation of another one shot? Seems vaguely familiar

It's the Takemiya-verse. All the characters look alike!

I always wondered how gay couples chose their last names when it comes to marriage. too late to change it nico.

I've had this convo with my girlfriend (straight male here), and she asked what would we do about the last name thing. I honestly told her it doesn't bother me. She can keep her last name for all I care. If she decided to take mine it'd be cool or if she used her maiden name for professional work and mine outside of it it wouldn't be an issue. Hell, I even offered to change mine to her's. Ever since high school, I always thought it was silly that women were the only ones supposed to change their last names when married. I have viewed it as some kind of societal/cultural norm that favors the male in the relationship in that it eventually blots out the woman's heritage and in this day and age (at least here in the States), why should it be assumed that the woman will be automatically changing her last name?? I'm sure there are some positives to having the same last name, especially if you have kids but, assuming that the woman was supposed to change their name always seemed to irk me.

And for the record, me and my girlfriend have no interest in marriage, at all.

NOW! As for Love Live! I'm seeing a helluva lot of couples being paraded around here. So, I have to ask... is it worth watching or would I be disappointed?

I don't even know what I'm looking at lol but! Thanks for the link. I noticed that the chapters average around 2700 viewers give or take a few hundred on the main release site. What are they averaging here?

For everyone else:
I've only ever read Girls of the Wild's and maybe tried a few other manwhas over the years (one was a gang's muscle that had a huge, hard core fetish for cute, fluffy, cuddly teddy bears AH! Hello Mr. Teddy) but that's it. Has anyone else read other manwhas worth reading?

this is perfect.
I wouldn't mind the story so much if it didn't display the situation in such a happy light, as though this were a good thing.........it isn't.

I didn't get the feeling at all that it was portrayed as a good thing. I thought it was more of a... bittersweet sh*t happens type of thing.

I had to double check a couple of times that I wasn't visiting a hard core porn site. Yikes. I did find 2 decent stories that, I don't think, are over here afaik but that was it. Those ads were a little to loud.

Thank you Nez.

AAAAAnyhoo, since we were on the subject of authors, sorta, does FF's have other works or is this their first one??

I haven't come across anything else on ssamba's blog, so I'm assuming FF is all they have at the moment.

Oh wow! Has there been any author commentary on the story/their work?

Is Hana-chans friend a girl? I can't really tell.

Always assumed the friend was a girl.
