I still really don't get the 'Graduation might as well means the other person died' in Japan.
At my graduation, I was like 'Well... tomorrow at your place as usual?' and next to nothing changed.

What's weird is I've never had friends I felt a strong connection to. Not even strong for the words "i miss them" to ever be true for me. Well. Many of them ended poorly anyway. And while it might very well be the way you explained in your example about these things being no big deal, I can understand this fear of change expressed by the darker-haired character.

Heh. This really worked for me. Even the title giving it all away just adds to the charm. I like this authors stuff a lot. Still can't read authors incest stories though. No offense to its fans but I'm not reading those anytime soon.

I think applying western concepts to japanese authors is a dangerous thing to do. As it was said already, the author is female. There's a lot of pervy female author in the yuri genre.

I figured. Sometimes people are just making things they want. Some of NSFW material out there is made by women. Got nothing against that. Certain things just don't appeal to me when done a certain way but I certainly don't think people shouldn't be allowed to or that their gender should preclude them from telling stories any way they want.

Also remember how the female author of Sakura Trick actually asked the anime production to focus on the girls' tights and boobs. It was her wish, above all.

I respect that but it was so grating for me it became a large part of why I dropped the show. Again. Not saying the world should revolve around my tastes or anything.

Never really believed in the idea that there was fan service that only worked for one gender but I find it plenty believable that some is targeted at one gender over the other regardless. I don't like fanservice. If you do, fine. but the fact that the frame is literally oriented to show characters a certain way makes me cringe. It's like when a romance story is full of contrived nonsense. It takes me out of the story. Makes me want to drop the book and I do more often than not.

That's just how it is for me. Some are like, well this story is for luls. Fine. It doesn't amuse me though. But if its your thing, fine. I try to avoid these works but there isn't exactly a lot of choice in yuri and sometimes it shows up after you've started.

Fan service aside, this was just another story I didn't like. There are so many of those in this genre. Many with no fan service at all in fact.

I like this one too much. Probably gonna have to watch more of this show. If only to be familiar with it enough for the doujinshis.

I don't see how the boyfriend is "sexist" either as someone above said. Possibly selfish. Possibly rude. but where does he do anything to indicate the gender of the people making the request had anything to do with it? I don't think he'd have OK'd this deal if it were a heterosexual couple either.

that said. I don't think I'd ever be a donor either.

I really like the lead knight character. She is just one of those kind of characters I really dig. All noble and determined. The "refusal" scene was a little surprising and super amusing. her love interest, well. I don't care for these kind of characters but I know why they are such constants in fiction in general.

the story is about as typical as can be but I can't say that really bothers me. Fanservice does but that's just me.

seemed alright to me. As long as the strangling thing is safe and consensual I don't see the problem with the subject matter covered.

If I had to say anything else it's that this art style really veers into that level of cutesy that I'll never care for.

Art is rough. Did not think it starting off in the middle of things does anyone any favors. But the characters are funny and I love delinquents! I also love cats.

This one seems like she will be especially fun to watch when/if she falls for the inspector.(I assume that's the pairing here anyway) The inspector also seems very likeable. Her attempts to diffuse the situation were both interesting and sweet.

Love they way they are drawn here. Never liked the walked in on them gag though.

Can confirm. Not enough Street Fighter yuri. Every little bit helps! Especially this.

I can't even get into Bleach, even though I love the action genre. Don't see how I'd possibly last long enough to reach whatever part of the story these characters appear in and, as ever, for a big fat "maybe." Good luck to my fellow yuri fans though!

Daaaayum. Some good lines there. Wish there was more stories like this. Just a girl trying to get a girl. A break from all the stories about putzing around with lead's that don't even know they are in love or what love is or whatever.

He he. ouch! I really liked this one.
Among the ideas I will never write were stray thoughts of a gal decent at flirting but wouldn't get a date or at least not one that lasted more than a few days so we could watch her flirt various girls for a bit.

Pity. Had a number of things going into it that I could really sign off on. Cats. One cool lead. Nice art. Then the other lead turned out to be just unlikable.

er. That was just awful. I like a number of the ideas going into it but the pacing was bad and the scenario was cooky as hell. And that damn security cat! Truly a secret agent's most nefarious foe!

A shame. I do desire more action based stories in my yuri.
