That was both confusing and stupidly depressing. Why do people enjoy sad endings? I will never understand and, frankly, I don't want to understand. I enjoy happiness, I am NOT the weird one yet somehow I seem to be the minority.
I am no fan of sad endings either but I don't see this as completely sad. Somehow I see it more as it having potential. Plus the art is gorgeous as usual.
The style is much like the stories found in Carmilla and maybe Anise magazines. Obviously it's a bit older-considering the clothing style. This is just a guess on my part though. I loved it for the fact that they simply stated who was butch and who was femme. And for the fact they were adult characters.

Totally unrealistic. Shizuru is out of character, Natsuki is WAY out of character. It's like 'ohh I just caught you having sex with a younger girl that totally put me in the mood!' No I don't think it works that way. Even though I enjoy some smut it wasn't great at all.
I'm agree with you there. That wasn't sexy at all, it just seemed skeezy instead. And the whole thing about Shizuru with Arika...ick!
