This is reminding me of the recent race arc in Kase-san, in that it's one of my favorite series taking an abrupt nosedive in quality due to a dumb drama arc that makes very little sense. At least Nagisa finally told off the glasses girl this time, though it's kind of ridiculous that Nagisa immediately starts pressing Mashiro to answer her own question after brushing off Mashiro's question. Not a good look.

So far, this series has been really good at keeping up a brisk pace, so I'm still holding onto hope that this will be resolved swiftly and won't drag on for more than a couple chapters after this. Maybe the creator can stick the landing, but so far it's hard for me to see this arc as anything other than a misstep.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is kinda confused by the ending. I really liked the first few chapters of this; it felt like exactly my preferred flavor of angst. But unfortunately I felt it kinda fell apart by the end.

Nice to see this updated! I've loved the first chapter ever since it was uploaded, so I'm really happy that it looks like the rest of the series is going to be getting translated!

I generally read them as having a queerplatonic relationship. They're clearly close, but they also both have expressed that they aren't interested in romance, and not in a tsundere way.

Hopefully the shorter chapter length is the reason why this chapter feels like kinda filler. One of the things I love about this series is that it keeps a pretty brisk pace, and if this is the arc that bogs it down, then that will be a real shame.

It seems like it's setting up for an arc about Mashiro becoming more secure in her relationship with Nagisa, which is a good idea, but I can't say I love the execution thus far.

This is the premise of Because You Dazzled Me. The school basically sponsors a wacky sapphic couples' contest where couples compete against each other for votes on the school's internal social media app. I don't even think there's ever a prize specified, they just do it for clout, lol. It's very silly, but also really cute and sweet. It's only got four chapters uploaded here, but is complete on Mangadex.

Wow, the new girl is coming in really hot. Very odd choice to reintroduce yourself to someone you respect by insulting them directly to their face. It's also kinda wild that she knew which school Nagisa went to, chose to go to a different school, and then gets mad as Nagisa for not being in the same school. Like if you really wanted to go to school with her, you could have just...went to her school?

The scene at the end with Nagisa reassuring Mashiro was so sweet. Also shoving Mashiro's face into her chest in front of the new girl was a total power move, lmao. Hopefully Mashiro follows her own advice about telling her feelings, but somehow I get the sense she won't.

Hell yeah! I'm glad this got picked up by another group. There were a couple chapters that got uploaded to Mangadex a while back, but they just vanished after a few days for some reason. Murder is a hell of a way to start a series, and I really dig the two leads' chemistry.

I love how she's not like "wow, this cute senpai is so sad, let me help her out" but is instead awoken to her sadistic tendencies and just wants to mess with her. XD

Nice finale of the fight; that two page spread was awesome.

The flashbacks reminded me of Mashiro's illness. What ... happened to that? Like, I don't need death flags or hospital visits or anything, just some indication that she's still a somewhat sickly person instead of being like "she had a bit of time off school and now she's in perfect health and we'll never speak of this again".

During the chapter when Nagisa had the flu, Mashiro was prevented from even a quick sick visit because of the risk of her catching it with her condition. She's also been shown to have separate PE lessons, where she does more low-impact activities, presumably as part of some doctor-prescribed physical therapy routine.

I'll grant it's not much, but at least it's something, lol. Her condition has always been kind of vague and ill defined.

I'm guessinggggg, she's someone from the same middle school as Nagisa who admired her for being the serious model student and stuff. But now Nagisa looks all flashy, so the First year thinks it's Mashiro's bad influence leading Nagisa astray and tries to "pull her back to the right path". Or smth along those lines~

Yeah, this is my guess too. I kinda doubt she's being introduced as a potential love rival; I think she's the girl who was shown in chapter 24 for one panel, and if she was there to witness Nagisa princess carrying Mashiro off the stage, then there's no way she could seriously think she has a shot. XD

Nagisa mentioned in the first chapter that she cut off all contact with her friends from middle school, so this new girl has got a lot to catch up on. She's also always been pretty straightforward and assertive, so I kinda doubt she'll seriously entertain anything this girl is saying in regards to distancing herself from Mashiro.

This is a battle manga now.
