So unexpected it was kinda bad. Not bad because it's poly but because it come so unexpected that there was no build up to really back it up.

There was no forshadowing for poly. Always has been your hopes for it that make you believe it.Like for real, she saw 5 or 6 types of relations through out the whole manga but seem that most peoples forget about it to just focus on the one they wanted.There was NEVER a big sign of love between the two friend outside of a weak arrow that got shattered during the same chapter she appear.

Bro we got it. But let's be honest the chapter of the teachers was the one who made her think if she can be in that kind of relationship with Sayo and Rinna. Even in 14.1 she thinks about being with both of them when she said that is too selfish of her and cant choose one of them either cause the other was gonna be sad. And because she wanted to be with both she was about to say that she shouldn't be with one but yea then we see how genuine Rinna's love for Mei was to the point to push her to choose the one who has been the closest to her, and Rinna sacrifices her for the Mei's sake. And I know that Sayo and Rinna didnt have anything themselves, by the time when the chapter 7.1 and 7.2 where the most recent ones, it made somehow think that some kind of interest was gonna be between Sayo and Rinna after that accident with the kiss but we clearly saw that there wasnt any kind of development between them. But anyway dont get bother cause of that, they are just opinion everyone thinks different. Since everything is done and clear, Rinna is NOT gonna end up with Mei and that's it... maybe with Akane idk.

Peoples saw the poly and think it was forshadowing, completly forgetting the others forms of relations we've seen. Man, just because they see poly doesn't mean it was the end point at all. It was to show her another form of love. I think it's better that she choose her own form of love, instead of choosing one just because she saw it.
Really, just accept the outcome without throwing assumptions about what the author supposidly wanted. There was no promise of poly ending, outside of a speculation.

Most likely yea. Cause we saw the poly relationship, the "forbidden relationship" of the maid, then the impossible love of the one who rejected and then was rejected. The purpose for Mei to find her own way to love. But but the feeling of a poly started before the chapter where the relationship of the teacher was shown at least for me. Cause the three became close really quick. That was actually the reason I kept reading this manga since I was looking for more of this poly yuri after reading luminous blue whose ending was unexpected. But anyway, what is done is done. At the end, I hope the author gives a good ending for Rinna maybe with Akane the idol who showed interest for Rinna. But yea dont mind me

This is surprising to me, because I thought the conventional wisdom was that the childhood friend never wins. Offhand I can think of It’s a Detached Relationship and (the dreadful) Pages in Search of a Bookmark where that’s the case, but I know there are many others.

That fits my sense too—if there’s a childhood friend in love with the MC who’s never spoken up before and a new love interest appears for MC, the endgame odds are wildly stacked against Childhood Friend. (That’s where the, “Am I not good enough for you?” trope comes from.)

Or did you mean “winning in this series”?

I probably just read too much hentai, clearly the authors there have much better taste. It always makes me feel weird when I see the childhood friend never winning trope mentioned, since all I remember are the many stories where she gets her way. Unless it's NTR, of course. Probably helps that there usually isn't any competition in that kind of stories, though. :D

Childhood doesnt have any chances unless its one of the MC like Sayo. Otherwise side character childhood friends have always the worst luck

Well after reading all chapters. I'm saying... I'm sad for the not poly ending. I know some of you dont like poly but it's the everyone's likes so. Now since Chapter 15.1 and 15.2 are the last according to the author there is no way Rinna is gonna join them BUT AT LEAST I want Rinna together with Akane who showed love interest in Rinna(Check Chapter 9.2) cause I dont want to see Rinna alone. At least that's what I want to see.

Whaaaat no poly ending!? No way! That makes me so unsatisfied! Apparently there’s one chapter left, but I don’t see how it can have a satisfying conclusion now. The introduction of the teachers being poly was clear foreshadowing, otherwise those parts of the series would be COMPLETELY POINTLESS. I will be very disappointed if the author doesn’t fix this, because it’s what the series has teased the entire time. You don’t introduce the concept into the story and not use it at all. It’s poor writing to take time and use pages go emphasize a potential plot point then do nothing with it. It’s bad storytelling

Also this feels SO RUSHED, like the pacing has been terrible the last 4 chapters

I’m with you 100% here, the story had such nice pace and foreshadowing, and in the last few chapters completely rushes ahead and ditches a main character making the entire manga feel so pointless. Unless the last chapter is a very long poly redemption from the author, I’m gonna be very disappointed (but it’s probably gonna be the cop-out timeskip with Rinna going out with Akane)…

Akane is a possibility cause it was shown she cares for Rinna but we never saw love interest for each other, just friendship.
Edit: After reading chapter 9.2 well forgot that Akane said she found someone she loves and that Akane was not gonna lose against her love. I think it means she likes Rinna

Yea. For me it was foreshadow cause it's also a way of showing her Mei that she has that way to love not only the normal 1x1. Since there is one chapter left, or that's what I read from the author I twitter, I'm dont have any hopes now cause the chapters are short. The reason I'm kinda disappointed is that we dont have another character in the manga who can be Rinna's lover since Mei was the only one who had interest in her. But anyway seems that the only good poly yuri manga for now is luminous blue tho its ending was unexpected tbh

Why crappy? Mei clearly saw it can work out after seeing the relationship of the teacher. I thought the author used that chapter for that reason as a foreshadow but anyway

hmm, given that the story isn't over yet I'll still hold out hope for the poly endgame, but to be fair this is also good. excited for where this will go from here.

There's certainly a small chance left for this, so all we can do is hope for the last chapter to deliver, but we'll see. Sudden backstory dropping in gave Sayo a bit of an edge here, but Rinna certainly proved the depth of her feelings as well. And Mei has already learned that there are other options available than just a regular couple. Whether she decides that this is something for her as well is another question, of course...

The author said there is one chapter left or that's what I read from one of the twitts. And according to what you said, yes. What the manga told me is that she loves Sayo but also has feelings for Rinna and that the relationship of the teacher is an option or was a foreshadow for her. But since the author said next one is the last, chances to see Mei talking with Sayo about Rinna joining them(even if there is no love between Sayo and Rinna, like Sayo accepting that is the best sharing her love(Mei) with Rinna) are 1 in a billion.

Bro it feels like the author abruptly change from poly to mono. I thought it was gonna end up with a 3p poly after Mei saw the 3p relationship of the teacher, like it was a foreshadow. So then what was the point of showing that if this was gonna end with mono? I was waiting to see some development between sayo and rinna since they didnt go further after that kiss they had. C'mon I wanted the win win ending. I like the 3 of them but with rinna left out I'm kinda disappointed.
But this is not the end I have some hopes left. Let's wait until the end of the manga.

For me this is a bittersweet ending. Kidaha likes everyone but at the end all of them except Io left her side. Katra loves mifuri but was still in love with kidaha, she loved both of them equally otherwise she shouldn't have tried to stop kidaha from leaving the village or that's what I guess but couldnt be be with both of them neither the other kid. Man idk how to feel with this manga. Where was the love that some of them said they had for kidaha? Even though all of them cheat on her kidaha stayed strong, but not enough to be in the same village as her ex(s) At least in the end Io was faithful to her since she was the one who always loves her despite the fact that Io was the one who persuaded Kidaha to have the harem. But yea it started with Kidaha and Io, and it ended with both of them. Bro it's been so long since the last time I read this, I didnt know there were more chapters last time was the story of fana and yuuri.... that those two also said they were in love with kidaha but at the end...

Gahh the way my fave volume is the shortest one :( I love volume 2 the most. Fana and Yuuri are my fave couple and I wanted to see more of them so i loved the short cut in vol 3 credits. Mifuri and Katra pairing is a close second even though Katra kinda annoyed me (girl would actually sleep with anyone in smoke mountain it was amusing but also tf girl lmao)

Faana and Yuuri too but it's kinda bittersweet since both said they love kidaha but at the end they just preferred to stayed together. I thought they were gonna be with kidaha, and requesting her to let them have a relationship between Faana and Yuuri ya know like a polyamory between 3p but no. I wonder if they at least thanked kidaha cause it was because of her that faana and yuuri met. But basically in few words earth girls is a story about a woman named kidaha that every time she gets a new wife, she loses two.

As soon Mio turns 20(legal age in japan) she will be free to do what she can't do as a minor, and that implies to choose whoever she wants to be with, live with, and she wants to become.

The teacher lacked of classroom management. Idk about the life of a teacher but I know that sometimes it can be a chaos the classroom I mean. But also where was the supervisor? Did the school knew about this? I know that it might be irrelevant info but still. I guess that endou somehow liked the teacher but didnt know how to get close to her(?)
