It is refreshing seeing somebody immediately calling bullshit when the adult argues "being an adult means to be in an unhappy marriage".

Every year you plow through in the vague hope that it will get better is a year lost, and you know deep down it will not get better, it's just a lot easier to stay in a bad relationship/marriage than breakup and work on improving yourself and do self reflection. Being single after years of having someone can be terrifying.

Anyone know if this did get made into a series? The name is prologue after all, annoying name if it was just a one off referring to their relationship and that's it.

And that is what makes this series really a lot better than most other subtext series in my opinion (to the extent this series will stay subtext as it seems to be strongly hinting about Akebi and Erika). Regardless whether or not this series stays subtext or becomes fully Yuri doesn't all that much matter to me, it'd be great if Akebi and Erika do actually end up falling for eachother of course, but this series works regardless of Subtext or Yuri, and I really wouldn't think less of it for staying subtext (even if I would love it, if it stepped up haha).

Yeah need more tsundere yuri, Yuzumori also had great tsundere expressions in that confession scene. Love Ejima Eri style, incorporating elements from battle manga to yuri manga is pure brilliance. Hope to see more from this author, Yuzumori-san was finished in 2018 and "Young Ladies Don't Play Fighting Games" just finished though funny it didn't have any Yuri in it.

I doub't we will get more yuri from Ejima Eri, still grateful for what we got.

Still cant get over the fact, how prez is the best character ever. Everything about her screams mastermind, and honestly, if for whatever reason Id meet some person that writes their fantasies about them and me, I would probably react the same as prez. And holy hell, the second to last chapter is so goooooood

The Prez was the real MVP, I wonder if she knew her little sister liked Koiko and that's why she left them alone so many times to give her sister an in. Excellent manga, I didn't expect such a happy ending with "love triangle" tag, awesome.

You don't need to inhale smoke into your lungs to get nicotine rush or to get THC from weed, sure you may get higher faster by inhaling into your lungs, but I'm not sure even this is true, I don't notice big difference, get high either way. Yuri manga is a lot more enjoyable when high imo, both my grandparents died of lung cancer at age 67 and 72 from cigarette smoking. Meanwhile my grandparents who don't smoke are still running around at age 85.

One of the more atmospheric reads on the site, I think. There's a real sense of unease throughout. The uneven sense of time and place definitely lends itself to some worthwhile effect. It's so hard to put into more words than that, and I won't bother trying.

Yeah, from reading the comments on this forum most people seem to hate this comic, but like you I also loved the "unease" atmosphere through out it, didn't strike me before now when I read your comment about family dynamics and child abuse but rereading it with that in mind it's a pretty interesting story, even though it wasn't that good, it's a shame there isn't more yuri that explores these themes more in depth.

A general statement though, it's nice to mix it up sometimes, like the great movies such as "There will be Blood", "A serious Man" or "No Country for Old Men" they leave you with more questions than you had going into it.

Wolf years are 4.44 human years and goat/sheep years are 5.33 human years (according to a random website that I found), so little wolf girl is probably between 25 & 35 years old... based on a very vague guess on how old (in wolf years) she is supposed to look to us humans. Funny the girl being a wolf is the predator and the goat lady is prey.

What's interesting is that while the point of view of the jealous sister makes this seem quite a bit darker, what we actually see of the onee-loli relationship is much more innocent than the other more realistic seeming works of Itou we've had lately, only going as far as some pretty chaste kisses.

Except you know the hickey on the back of the girls neck that makes the protagonist almost snap. It’s pretty much implied that they went way farther than just “chaste” kisses.

Yeah and she told her something like "lips are reserved for the person that's most precious to you", that was a hard rejection, you could feel it. Dark Yuri is the best, nothing like a story that makes you want to tear your heart out.
