rainbow8:
Seems implied that she has become quiet aware that "His Majesty" is a girl. Unless there's some other reason for trimming her nails after looking at lesbian porn?

Nail trimming can be for butt stuff (or any caressing without accidental scratching). If she hasn't switched to straight guides later, she may have used yuri knowledge to come up with something that'd also work on men.

Nene:
When she asked the general for ecchi doujin books and got only yuri ones, she thought: "Could it be that the general too has found the secret of the emperor?"

The empress could be wondering if the general knows about emperor's dysfunction but I'm not sure how that ties to explicit yuri (is it less depressing to look at, or maybe he'd be looking for a way to please his wife in other ways?). She also said to the emperor that he doesn't need working male parts (implied) for sexy times, which he'd already know from his own reading of yuri erotica if he were a woman.

Eagletanker:
they're seemingly just fine with being a guy, and don't really seem interested in being a girl.

With a mother like that it's doubtful she has any say on that and you're seing either indifference from having a long time to get used to it or ingrained palace mannerism showing.

Gabinomicon:
Well dang, that is probably the most erotic thing I've ever seen published in a Chinese comic lol. I wonder if this chapter was originally only on twitter instead of Bilibili, I've seen other Chinese comics do that like Here U Are and I think Bai Lijin Among Mortals (not totally sure where that series had its "extras" published) but nothing quite that.... sensual. Certainly nothing with that much unambiguous discussion of what they're doing mid-scene lol.

Dunno about Bilibili itself but on other sites the lewder panels in this chapter are opaque white rectangles.
That said, check out Warning! Beware of the Dog past what's been translated so far for similarly unambiguous kinky hate sex.

I get the feeling you'd manage to complain about the friendship in Heroine's Isekai Monster Wives Harem. Your myopic view of the story and unwarranted discrimination of manhua aside, for many manhua, including this one, the works in the original language are much further ahead and you can find the raws and machine translations online and see for yourself if they'll be able to satisfy you.

She's gone through many years of redesigns (including being in a straight relationship, a sex worker, and initially meant for another story altogether) so it's hard to tell the original intent behind the name, but it's much older than her being a lesbian. By the time of the pilot the Word of God stated it's short for Vagatha, which seems to have been retconned too.

I'm confused. What happened after the "Close your eyes" line?

Don't tell me she dressed the other girl like you would a child, and the other girl never noticed?

It's the same suspension of sensory perception that occurs when characters are told to wear embarrassing clothes or travel to a place they don't expect to be in and they only react to it once it's done, yes.

Not the first vore-type yuri I've read very cute also ??????

Out of curiosity, what are the others? I can guess one would be "A monster wants to eat me", but are there more? Possibly ones on the gentler side?

The Saintess Has a Showdown has women eating women platonically every now and then. Adjacent fetishes present: women spitting out women, engulfed by slimes, cannibalism, science babies pregnancy, childbirth. Most of it is quite mild, if at times crossing into What the fuck am I reading?. The fights can get a bit gory, though.

There's also Felarya, but I'm only familiar with random vore images drawn by its author that can be found online, so I don't know how yuri the comics are.

Mitsuki's clothing choices so far seem tied to cool music (specifically, middle-aged geezer music) being her life, similarly to her uncle. Andro clothes are cool, black color is cool, rings and piercings are cool, uncle's tattoos are cool, etc. The bio also states that "she's just a girl who loves music".

Aya's feeling stupid for not recognizing Mitiski, guilt at misgendering her, embarrassment at realizing she was gushing to her friends about someone who was sitting right there the whole time, etc

It's on Mitsuki for not clearing up the misunderstanding in time (she wanted to but didn't due to the fear of standing out in any way at school and accidental flirting) and then intentionally pretending to be onii-san because Aya became her music friend and Mitsuki's self-worth was too low to consider somebody wanting to be friends with a "gloomy loner" like her. Aya got angry with her for that.

Everybody else also reads Mitsuki's masked andro look as male (probably due to some cultural expectation that girls will be cute and wear girly stuff, and not being able to go by her face), so she wouldn't feel stupid for it (she has to correct her family on that, too). And while she noticed similarities between Mitsuki and onii-san after interacting with both, she "knew" they're different people and by then Mitsuki was actively hiding they're the same person (you usually don't go suspecting your classmates of leading a double life).

If she's not embarrassed over the explicit issue of talking about her oshi to her oshi, the earlier thoughts about couples and acting like a girlfriend may have thrown her back to confused gay panic whenever Mitsuki is being handsome.

I have encountered Stray Gods, although I didn't find the time to play it yet. I had the impression it was mostly a mystery game with musical elements. If you vouch for the yuri routes in it then I can put it on the list. As usual, I need someone to make an actual recommendation post for things I didn't personally play.
So if you could give a short summary of the game and why you like it that would be splendid!

To address your impression first, there is a murder mystery, but as a part of the narrative. The game is choose-your-own-adventure on the casual side and the characters take care of the investigation for the player. This results in the main plotline being mostly linear (which may disappoint those who get into it for the mystery aspect), though with some temporary branching between key plot points, and certain choices and outcomes of the songs influence the ending you get, whether it's romantic, and the fate of the characters you meet along the way.

The gist of the story is that Greek gods - who call themselves idols - live hidden between mortals in modern times. A muse dies and as you're the last person who's seen her alive and her powers have gone to you, the gods decide you're guilty until proven innocent and want you dead, but you're given a chance to find who's the actual killer.

What it's truly about is moving on a trail of clues being an excuse to meet broken characters, and in the process acting as their musical counselor by singing modular magic songs (as a muse you can compel anyone to sing what's in their hearts), which are a treat if you're into musicals. The talky parts often set the ground for the sung parts.

ROMANCE
There are four main characters that help you throughout and that you can romance (two female, two male). You get closer to them by siding with them when given the option and selecting dedicated flirting dialogue whenever it appears, which culminates in confirming you love each other. You also learn more about them and how they feel through normal interactions and what they sing about. It won't get more intimate than sharing a kiss and pouring each other's feelings out (it's not a long game in the first place - about 6 hours on average for the first playthrough and the replayability comes from trying out other romances and iterating on the songs), but it'll be emotional and each of them has their own love song.

The female love interests are your roommate-bandmate-childhood bestie Freddie (she's voiced by Janina Gavankar, and you can recognize her in the screenshots by her green hat), and Persephone, the cynical queen of the underworld and the goddess of spring (the one with red buzz cut hair and a black kimono gown, and the voice of Mary Elizabeth McGlynn). The latter counts as an age gap romance.

Freddie is the choice if you want a more touching story, with somebody who will support you in every way she can; Persephone's story is darker, and she isn't fond of showing affection (she's more likely to bump heads with you), but it's not devoid of it either. As a plus, both their stories hit harder than the male options.

There's also trickster Pan (Khary Payton singing playful/scheming stuff) and pessimistic surfer dude Apollo (Troy Baker being a huge bag of sad) - even without considering them for romance you can choose to get help from the one that doesn't conflict with the romance you're going for (it'll be clear who's incompatible with whom).

Ah, and the protragonist, Grace, is a rocker girl voiced by Laura Bailey. You choose a personality trait for her at the start (charming, kickass, clever), which unlocks some dialogue options. I don't remember the exact effect it has on the songs, but picking green-red-blue options within the songs isn't trait-restricted.

SONGS
You've got several shorter songs without much interactivity, and then there are the big ones. Those have segments where you're prompted to choose how the song will flow, and after an intro they branch out into several different versions where the song changes in a major way. The outcome of such songs, the segments you get, or a specific line in the lyrics, change with the previous choices within the song, and sometimes also external factors like a character being present there with you, or a choice made elsewhere.

Despite that, it's not overly restrictive if you're not interested in the intricacies of putting together ideal songs - or getting to certain bonus segments - and you can get by by doubling down on a single personality style or selecting options that make sense.

I recommend checking out the songs on youtube (getting lured into a musical because of a song is perfectly normal in my book). There are choice compilations for each song put together by various players, but the safer option are the official soundtracks on Austin Wintory's channel (there's four of them, three colour ones for the personalities + composer's choice pantheon version that mixes up the choices; they're don't show everything, but tracks there are sorted in order of appearance and without visuals so avoiding spoilers is easier).

Alternatively, here are my suggestions:
~Trailer-tier spoilers (a linear introductory song) - The Chorus Is In Accord
~Trailer-tier spoilers (the first major song, with Freddie singing some parts) - I Can Teach You, Lost Girls version of it with all charming choices, and Time to Play version with clever choices
~Minor spoilers - Persephone's first song (charming with mixed choices)
~Spoilers for Persephone - an attempt at flirting with Persephone (kickass Grace flavor)
~Mid-story spoilers (one character's story and lore on the gods) but it's one of my favourites - The Ritual (full-on kickass version)

LipTrip ~My Boss Is My Heat Suppressant?!~ The new Omegaverse yuri VN by dev team SukeraSomero of OshiRabu fame, with character art by Chigusa Minori (Convenient Semi-friend, Shino and Ren) come out this week on the 22nd!

Omegaverse? Apologies, but that is definitely not for me. How unfortunate, because I very much like the artist's work.
I hope you enjoy it at least. It has been a while since this team released something yuri adjacent after all.

That does bring up the question whether I can even put it on the recommendation list however. Omegaverse is in most part not really yuri. I'm sure that at least in this game's case they avoid the hermaphrodite aspect. Oh well, maybe if someone plays it and makes a case for it we can come back to that.

Almost everything in (yuri) omegaverse depends on the author, and they usually explain somewhere what they do with it. Changes to genitals are optional, and if a story wanted to go there, you wouldn't even need them for things like pregnancy (one ABO-lite yuri web novel has pregnancy literally transmittable via kissing).

In case of this visual novel, you have the following in the description:

Alphas sit at the apex of society with their superior looks and abilities. Meanwhile, Omegas have a special characteristic: they periodically go into heat, at which time they become irresistible to Alphas.

and

Yuri is totally compatible with the Omegaverse!
It's the perfect setting for a romantic drama, where conflict arises from the differences between Alpha and Omega.
Enjoy a casual sapphic visual novel with a pinch of spice.
※This game is based in a general Omegaverse setting. There are no references to hermaphroditism.

.

As an aside, would you consider putting Stray Gods somewhere on the list? It's something between a visual novel and an interactive still image film with a pause, and two out of four romance options are yuri.

The author needs to draw more smut, just to practice. :-) Not only did they censor the kiss, they even had them bang with their bikinis on, apparently, which I cannot imagine was especially comfortable (for Tang Chao, in particular).

I think tha's just your typical self-censorship.

As far as I can tell, the white circles are censorship for Bilibili and there should be an uncensored version available somewhere.

An unverified anecdote about a 19th century Japanese novelist, English teacher and a scholar of British literature says that when asked by a student to translate English "I love you" into Japanese, he replied that Japanese men wouldn't directly express their love to a woman and instead suggested "the moon is beautiful, isn't it?" as a more appropriate translation, as thanks to the ancient Japanese art of reading the room it would imply things like "I want to look at it together with you", and be enough to convey their feelings.

Modern men/people aren't like this anymore, but the phrase gained popularity online some years ago, got featured in J-dramas and spawned similar lines and possible replies to it (like saying that the stars are prettier than the moon means you already have feelings for someone else). You can emphasize it's a confession by using it when there's no moon visible or when it's not full moon.

1000 yuan for a bath and to let her sleep? Is she implying that they went to a hotel or is running water really that expensive in China?

In the previous chapter drunk Yin gave her 1000 yuan to wait together for the ride (she took it because the rent she can barely cover went up by 600 yuan), which turned into an overnight stay. Xin thought to herself that this dead-drunk stranger she unwillingly had to look and clean up after is treating her house like a B&B and concluded that for how much she's been paid she may as well add breakfast to the bed part.

Is there any great or overlooked not-yuri manhua there with 100 or less chapters that you know hasn't been leaked to any aggregators or elsewhere (or that's been only partially leaked and needs less than 100 chapters for completion)?

It's likely unnecessary to do so with how many users rushed to save their already-unlocked stuff, but I could grab/read a few more things just in case others did it for personal use only.

I felt like going full geoguessr on the panels and here's the result.

At the beginning of each part there's a link to a big map with the places marked on it. There are a few entries for panels from future chapters, but without any spoilers. Lemme know if google maps links are not working or if I f-ed up somewhere.

The places I've failed to locate are Satou's store, Mayu's apartment (these two are likely manga-original) and this street from chapter 1 (for this one there are multiple things to go by, including the washed out stop marking seemingly facing the wrong way - there actually are a few painted like this in the city so it's not necessarily a mistake - but I still couldn't find a match).

Why is it chapter 34, but the title is chapter 37.1?

Changes from magazine version (used in scanlation) to tankoubon (volume) version.

There are four chapters 27 in the magazine (Leaving Azure 1-4). LA 1-2 got merged into a single chapter 27 in the tank, and LA 3-4 changed to LA 2-3 with adjusted chapter numbers.
From three chapters 29 (Are Souls Shared 1-3), the first two got merged into chapter 31, and ASS 3 changed to chapter 32 (ASS 2).
Two chapters 30 (Adachi Revival 1-2) got merged into a single chapter 33.

Volume 6 numbers are guesses as far as I can tell.
