As we are deleting by hand, the removal process will take a few days depending on how much available time we have.

I won't be getting into the nitty gritty details, but going into simple broad strokes isn't going to quite cut it in regards to understanding why things are the way they are now with the removal of their works. I won't be naming names.

After the release of Mermaid Lovers is when things started blowing up. The chapter itself was completely fine, however it was accompanied by a credits page that contained a mirrored Parteiadler depicting the 8chan site symbol instead of the swastika as well as containing a prominent panel with the text proclaiming "We're 'Ubermensch' Be careful not to stand out." This could have been be interpreted as typical -chan humor, but a forum member made it very clear that they did not like the imagery and thus made it known on the discussions thread for Mermaid Lovers. Having already made a name for themselves on the forums from other discussions, and also wielding a "Die Cis Scum" avatar, they were argued with by other users while the argument itself was mostly supported by others. Moderation was applied before the taking of the bait by the prominent forumgoer would spiral out of control.

Our deletion of infringing posts that came afterwards, from both sides, angered those who wanted to keep the credits page, as it was perceived we were treating our offending forum member with preferential treatment. Initially we were to receive a modified credits page, but negotiations broke down between us and the two groups separately as they requested the deletions, which they considered biased, stop or else they would have their works pulled. Things didn't calm down overnight as the forumgoer continued to instigate further drama after we had, at that point, stated that the page would stay. There then came some ethnic cleansing and gas chamber related posts by individuals connected to both 8chan's /u/ and Lazy Lily scanlations in hopes of stirring the pot. We ourselves had communication issues in relaying information and decisions and so things broke down even further. 8chan's /u/ wanted the credits page kept as a whole or else they would rather have everything off the site and Lazy Lily scanlations wanted their own works off the site in protest of how everything has been handled.

Thus, both group's works (with the exception of collaborations they've done with other groups such as 4chan's /u/ and Sexy Akiba Detectives) are to be taken down.

We are sad to see your efforts go; while we may strongly disagree on humor and internet conduct, yuri was the one thing keeping our separate groups in direct contact. Keep up the good work and I'm sorry things weren't resolved in a better fashion. Hopefully in the future we can to come to an agreement that works best for all of us and allow us to feature your works again.

I've decided to give this a try since IRC never really brings in that many fresh faces due to a variety of reasons (not that I don't like the current unfresh ones). So while this discord thing is booming (and hopefully they don't keep shooting themselves in the foot after the latest update), I wanted to try grab folks who didn't fit between forums and the IRC.
We're not abandoning the IRC, for those handful who actually visit, but it's certainly a function that not many use today. Technically we also have a twitter, but haven't touched that in ages. Maybe we'll revive it one day... (probably not).

For those who don't know what discord is, it's a chat client that you can have running in your browser or as a desktop application and comes with VoIP. Serves a lot of the same functions as other programs like TeamSpeak and Skype, but I'd say it's easier for public people to integrate into and it's also more aesthetically pleasing (although each program has its pros and cons). It was initially geared towards gamers but a decent amount of people have run with it to form their own communities that don't involve video games. Definitely easier to understand than IRC for most people, in any case.

Anyhoo, whether or not anyone uses it, it'll be there and DPF and I will be on there for much of the time like IRC. For those who do choose to use it, keep in mind that it will be treated as 18+.

So I can't read/write/speak Korean, so this is all the information I really have to go on. This isn't to instill panic, but could be something you might want to look into if you're a patron/pirate of certain series such as What Does the Fox Say. As for whether your favorite authors have actively been involved (and thus potentially backlashed upon), I have no clue.

If you can understand Korean or happen to know more about this, I'm sure some of us would appreciate some more light being shed on this situation.

It helps a ton if you use a tileset. Makes it more immersive too if you're terrible at imagination like I am.

We do not host raws on our site. We will, however, host a few chapters of your efforts but will likely stop midway so as not to spoil the entirety of the volume. While there will be swarms of other sites that will host the rest of your efforts, I want to at least get slightly more people interested in purchasing volume 2 if they can manage to avoid the temptation. These few chapters will be taken down at the start of the new year in preparation for the Seven Seas release. These plans may change but that's the current choice for now.

It doesn't serve as much purpose as most other tags when it comes to searching.
What are you searching for when you search for yuri? At least a relationship involving two women.
What are you searching for when you search for time skip? An indescript amount of time separating a present to a future, which will vary in swaths of time from weeks to years. Occurs somewhat uncommonly in doujins? This tag won't suddenly make you enjoy what you've read (and you're searching to find stuff you'd like which a time skip doesn't fix if you dislike everything you read beforehand). Sure, it fit a few things, but we're not tagging just because it fit (we're not a -booru) as it's supposed to inform the user in a more meaningful way.
Dumb joke tags started with me, and continue because we're not against them. I was asked if I was for or against time skip and I voted against. The tag system isn't clean, pure, or not full of hypocrisy, but it works well enough for what we're intending it to do. We do take user suggestions (hell DrP waited 3 weeks for someone to fight for the tag but no dice... until now?), but the end say remains within the staff.
If we do decide to reinstate the tag, we'd definitely have to put a more strict definition on it than nothing at all.

There will be people who only visit our site to download as much as they want to and then leave. This is going to be more taxing on daily and monthly bandwidth than those who read things as they come by. So the limit was put into place to not only discourage that but to attempt to coerce people into visiting the scanlator's website to obtain it instead. I can't say how successful that is in regards to getting people to visit the scanlators but the limit seems to be of some use for now.

GOD on the rizon.net IRC has generously offered the server for us to use for free. That's why we have an 8 download limit for every 24 hours so as to help reduce bandwidth usage by discouraging mass drive-by downloads. An upgrade of the server would be a bit on the costly side so we stuck with this option.

Should be done within the end of this day or the next.

I expected a bit of pushback for changing the tag.
This is also why Dynasty can't let users truly have 100% control over tag input since rather than hating on the staff, they'll hate on each other (moreso than they apparently do already, anyway).
I changed it because there are legitimate cases where chromosomes don't dictate the resulting gender/sex, because of identity issues or simply because something got screwy in the biology. There hasn't been pushback on the use of the y-chromosome version of the tag from what I've seen, but I felt men not found would be slightly more appropriate for those who may have this issue but have chosen to not speak up about it or haven't visited us yet.
Tags have always been a real messy business since staff is small, tags are everywhere, and everyone has their own idea about what exactly fits what. As with joke tags, it should mostly be a sort of Dynasty flavor sort of thing as like most other sites have their own flavor to issuing their tags. We will obviously continue to take in tag change suggestions, but I'll have to sit on what else to call this tag for now (I've seen the suggestions and will take them into consideration).

We're not Japanese nor a representative of the nation of Japan in any fashion. However there are surely plenty of people in both countries that share your sentiment, but politics are very messy.

The fanservice is agreeably a bit too much in a number of places.
The yokai are quite likely equivalent in comparison with their visual representation (for the human-like ones, at least). This is based off of how they act and think, as seen quite clearly with the lack of knowledge on Kurona's behalf. So looked at the setups for the ecchi in real life terms it's quite creepy, basically like all other ecchi manga out there.

I couldn't think of why that would be the case considering those fuckwits just rip it straight from the scanlator asap, but then I remembered that there were some changes (sometimes minor, sometimes semi-major) when it moved from magazine to tanks. That may be what occurred.

I did. I found the story enjoyable, although it's certainly not yuri (with a few panels of exceptions). Luckily they batched the volumes so it wasn't difficult obtaining the chapters quickly.

The older news isn't relevant anymore and DrP didn't want to keep clicking on the x all the time because he also hates cookies, so here we go.
