As said before, I'm not saying he isn't responsible for the consequences of his actions, only that calling him "garbage" may be going too far in this situation.

If someone, out of a misplaced sense of ego, pulled out a gun in a public area and shot at a criminal in a non-life threatening situation that's already under control by other parties to prove his masculinity, and in the process hit a bystander, what would you call that person then?

Since his life was directly threatened by the monster and only the tail was under control, this really doesn't apply here, though. Perfectly normal reaction, especially for someone who has been training to fight such beasts for most of his life, even if he may have gone overboard with the amount of power used, but that is not something easily judged in such a situation even without his personal issues coming into play. I really don't like having to defend a character who so far has been shown less likeability than the fiancé from Run Away With Me, Girl, but I stand by my opinion that "garbage" is going too far.

She said the situation was mostly under control with his guards protecting him, saying they only needed to aim for its tail while she protected her maid. Instead, he fired a large blast through its body. That's what seemed to catch her off guard, as the only action she didn't predict.

The guards needed to take care of the tail, he needed to take care of the head.

When you're the leader/supervisor of a group and your own rash actions lead to the severe injury of a subordinate, and not only that but a subordinate of your fiancee who is supposedly your equal...

You take responsability, because the blame for that pretty clearly lies on him and him alone.

I mean, usually you really wouldn't expect to punch right trough the monster with your attack, and seeing how the alternative may as well have been them all being dead... And his fiancee herself admits she would have been able to handle this if she hadn't been distracted. Responsibility, sure. But garbage? Not in this situation.

That was solved quite quickly, even if the big secret is still hanging over them.

Ending for manga. It was always meant to cover the first novel, or so. There's lots of wholesome novels afterwards that continue their relationship as they hit dating milestones, etc. Still ongoing.

MAL says the manga should have a third volume as well.

and by the way, the yuri tag doesn't fit, because it's a one-sided love, yuri implies both parties are in, here we have one into it and the other unaware of it

"Female -> female love" is literally the first part of the yuri tag's definition...
