Oh man, it's over? One of my favorite long running manga, such refreshing and compelling characters. I look forward to Mikanuji's next work, hopefully it will have more toxic and problematic women.
That was a really interesting interaction between the fangirl and the exorcist there, not sure what to make of it.
I am not sure yet why Ema sees Kirara as family (maybe I missed or forgot that part), but I am pretty sure that Aiko's intense averse reaction was because her own family was so bad (joining a cult and all) that she hates the very concept in principle.
Kirara was staying with Ema's family as they try to find a way to kill her. Ema probably grew up with Kirara around.
