I personally feel that they themselves like Seju and Sumin dynamic more (that's why their development feels better) but they always planned on ending it with Sumin x Sungji.
I failed to find a resource for this information or even track it down in the story.. unless you know something I don't XD
I personally feel ;)
And I have the same feeling. Always did. We read the story completely differently, I disagree with you many times which is not a secret :) If TG made Seju let go sooner, I'd probably change my view for the ending after they started ruining Sungji's character. Sungji is their mistake. Way too perfect at the beginning, way too blind by the end. Seju's growing up was also rushed up for me but at least they finally did what they should've done a long time ago and I've got what I wanted with her. The only thing I want to see when it comes to her now is living a happy life.
And Sumin better end up happy too or it won't be the story about healing. But I really, really despise what Sungji did, ugh.

No, it was said Sungji disappeared, she didn't say anything. And Sumin can't find what she did to cause it. We may know but we're not Sumin.
Vanbun
TG did exactly what I wanted for Seju, I didn't need a change of mind. I needed for her to move on.

As much as I wish for Sue to suffer, I don't want Mel to get legal responsibility for beating her. If that's what happens... I'm afraid Mel may end up arrested too.
As much as Yoonie and i don't see eye to eye a lot of the time, her arguments do come across as having the least bias to either couple.
So many cupcakes... :)

Like I said before, implied understanding doesnt give you the right to silently leave
When a couple break up, no matter what kind of reason, what kind of situation, even before the breaking up words were said, there would be a mutual understanding, but the breaking up words would still be said, just for the sake of two people to move on more easily. That's all.
In Sumin and Sungji's case, so what if Sumin knows? what if Sungji knows? So what? just because they know, so there is no need for saying lets break up and leave?
Run away, that's the exact word for Sungji's action, no analysis or explanation to justify it. There is none.
No matter how much you think the other understands why you left, for what kind of reason you had in your mind, you still need to say it, not only for your sake but also for the other party's sake.
In Sungji's case, she also said "I'll make sure the one I love wont get hurt anymore". For what kind of reason, what kind of situation, what kind of mindset, she had failed her words terribly. I dont care what leads to that to justify her words and actions are persistent, I only look at Sumin and her broken self right now to say Sungji has failed her own words.
You could say she left for Sumin to be with Seju, to decide where her heart lies. This should be said, not implied or mutual understanding, cause at least Sumin would knew the purpose, not getting lost in severe pain and hurt. I dont know but for whatever the pain Sumin is enduring, Sungji is the part of it, no, the main reason of it.
So dont say the words you couldnt keep if you cant do that. In Sungji's case, she failed and no matter what kind of reason is giving out like Sumin knows, Sungji knows, everyone knows, that's not the problem.
The problem is Sungji has hurt Sumin, badly, just like Seju 10 years ago. No excuses.
Bravo.
yoonie you are losing it XD
Anyways, Izz, you might think that Sungji ran or acted on an impulse because you never believed that she already knew what she wanted right from ch83. Then her decision became clearer in ch84.. I will touch on that later, but for now try to think about it.
Nope, not an impulse. I'm even sure she wanted to tell her she's breaking up with her (she told Sumin she'll tell her something the next day when they were in bed) but she chickened out. She'd need to give her a reason, she'd probably say she's letting her go to be with Seju. They'd talk and Sumin would explain everything to her. But since she ran... We have another drama to get through.

^As I said, if I were Sungji, would've talk to Sumin. But she NEVER did. Not even once. Not even before the cheating. And I was never a fan of her, lol. I liked her more by Sumin's side because she was healthier. Can't say that anymore with how Seju had finally did what I wanted her to do and Sungji acted like a kid.
It's not a secret that I like Sumin and she's the one I care the most. But it's also not a secret I wanted her to fix her relationship with Seju and for them to stay friends because I do like Seju. I was just frustrated with how she refused to let go to heal herself which would allow her to start her own path to be happy, either with Sumin or someone else (Nami, I'll go down with this ship).

Just saw the cover of chapter 60. Sue now is drawn looking sad? I hope RS doesn't try to make her sympathetic again though. It will be a very abrupt 180 degrees attempt to turn. You can't make someone a rapist and then try to make them redeemed after one chapter.
Sue will never earn my sympathy. She was created as a psycho right from the beginning, she played with Lynn's life, broke Mel by forcing Lynn to break up with her and then raped her... Nope, making me like her will never happen.
I don't see the current situation as Sumin's fault. Cheating, yes. Now, nope.
I have nothing more to say to you, really. Can you, just for once, think of Sungji's perspective for the last 20 chaps, for God's sake?
I am, I explained it later in my post. Sungji is reading Sumin the wrong way and instead of talking about it, she chose to run.
Do you see her trying her best or you only think Sumin tried her best?
Actually, I can't see Sungji trying for some time? How can I say Sungji tried her best if she'd rather spend time with people from work, for example? Sumin even picked it up and told her they see each other rarely.
She worked her ass off, her feelings are real and really, Sungji is all over her thoughts. It's Sungji's fault she suddenly started to be stupid and read Sumin the wrong way.
For dear God, how could Sungji read Sumin the right way when Sumin never says a thing? About her and Seju, about her and Sungji, about who is more important for her?
Sungji knew perfectly well about Seju's situation and their past together. Sumin was also honest with her about the pillow.
She had every right to feel insecure and of course she had every right to end things with Sumin but as I've mentioned before, she should've sit and talk with her rather than run to which we agreed.
I agree that she shouldnt leave without words, I didnt agree that this is ALL SUNGJI's FAULT
Look how much Sumin had changed and it wasn't forced from her side. She did that because she wanted to do it.
Does Sungji know? And please, think of Sungji's pov before answering
Yes, she knows. How could she not to if Sumin became honest, always told her she'll do whatever Sungji wants, looked at her with so much love? Sungji used to read her so well in the past but for the drama she had to stop, huh?
I've never said it's all Sungji's fault but what's Sungji's fault is how she end things and you agreed to it too. Sumin made a mistake, paid for it. She's paying for it AGAIN because Sungji had no balls to talk to her.
The last part she needed to do was become honest and the moment she did... Sungji became even more pissed. Sungji has her own problems and she took it out on Sumin. It's not the first time she left. It's the first time she left without a reason from Sumin's side.
LOL, so if she were you, you could believe it right away and be cool with it? She has the right to be angry, real or not. Put yourself in her shoes, your gf just slept with her ex, even its just sleeping, its already enough for you to be angry, let alone anything else.
I'd give her a benefit of the doubt and still sit and talk which Sungji never did. She left instead. Then and now. And to think Sumin had no reason to be afraid of her leaving... heh. She should've talked to Sungji about it too, never did.
Sungji needs time to think things through. What do you expect her to do? Believing and forgiving right away? She is not a saint without feelings, dear God
So she ran away to think? Break the person she loves because she needs to think? That's not how you do it, lol.
Btw, isn't Sumin in the worst state ever right now? I don't think she was this broken in the past.
No, its not, believe me, its not, LOL.
Ok, maybe she was in a worse state when she lost her parents :P
yoonie0104
First time, second time, the nth time, it will still be Sumin's fault, lol.
I don't see the current situation as Sumin's fault. Cheating, yes. Now, nope. She worked her ass off, her feelings are real and really, Sungji is all over her thoughts. I can't see Sumin and Seju starting over in 2 chapters (even though I feel like it would've been more healthy now!) because Seju had left and chapters aren't long. TG would need to rush it all up very much to solve everything or ignore a lot of things to show up a happy ending between those two. When it comes to Sungji and Sumin, they need to talk. Openly. And Sungji needs to reveal all the reasons why she did what she did, Sumin need to stay honest with her. Tell her everything, her anxieties included because that pillow thing... it was all because she was afraid of losing Sungji. She still told her the truth but I'm afraid Sungji didn't believe her. That's why I see team blonde ending still as the one that will happen.
Btw, isn't Sumin in the worst state ever right now? I don't think she was this broken in the past.
^I've never said Sumin is innocent, lol. But come on, this time she did nothing wrong. She cut the ties with Seju and was finally competely honest. It didn't work either because Sungji read her the wrong way (weren't you the one who pointed it? :p)
Yes, I pity her for falling to this that Sungji chose the most ungrateful way to leave when Sumin started to try her best but the fault for Sungji to think of leaving is Sumin's, lollll.
I pity her for once, but I dont find her being unlucky or etc.... Sungji should be blamed, not be praised but Sumin is not to be praised or highly talk about then blame all to Sungji.
Two things, leaving this way is Sungji's wrong doing and I pity Sumin because she has to go through this when she is trying her best but everyone praises Sungji, but to make Sungji leave, Sumin only can blame herself.
First time yes, right now not IMO. She did her best, she tried hard and from her POV it meant nothing. She's blaming herself, not knowing the reason why she left so she's all "maybe I made her tired of me" because she doesn't see herself as a good or enjoyable person. It only adds to her feeling miserable, I think.
And you're the one making me stop protecting Sumin, lol
I don't think team blonde ending is the bigger plothole. Sure, we have a lot of bts stuff when it comes to their relationship, but they don't need to start fresh. What they need is sit and really talk.
I still won't like it anymore...SejuxSumin doesnt need to elaborate to the point of restart their relationship and all to make it the end. They just need to meet and reconcile and end, which is totally possible.
Not in 2 chapters with Sungji drama all over it. And I can't see getting any bonuses, heh.
You ARE working on your thesis? O.o
wanna see my wite-outs ? XDD
I've read "wife-tits"...
My gosh, too much talking about tits with my co-workers today!

Make me remember past chapter how sumin ran over sungji hometown to have sex with her. Anyway sumin already know sungji house and whereabout. Better to visit sungji house/office than ruining other people wedding TBH.
Yes, exactly my point!!!
It's like bring your problem to someone special day.
And another YES!!!

Sumin x Seju - for 10 years, Seju tried to have a second chance with Sumin but nothing works
Trying to get that second chance by manipulations and bringing suffering to Sumin instead of support, comfort etc is not the way you want to get that second chance. She should've let go of her years ago and start over as a friend, not an ex with benefits.
Sumin x Sungji - Sungji left Sumin without any reason and cut all her communication with her.
Which from Sumin's POV must look like she was used and got hurt again for trying to move on. First a physical scarring, now emotional. She's such an unlucky person, heh.
conclusion - both of these relationship are irreparable lol but TeamBlonde is still going to be the endgame couple since it is so obvious that Sumin is chasing after Sungji and not Seju. well, unless TG go for a bittersweet ending where Sumin didn't end up with either of them.
Agree but I can't see Sumin not ending up alone if the spin offs are coming up and one of those is supposed to be about Sumin and Sungji. It'd also contradict what TG said about the story being about healing. It'd turn out to be "heal main character and destroy her again for the stupid drama".
Examples I could write right away:
The assassin.
Baek Sr's plan. Not really necessary though.
Necessary. Baek Sr's plan had something to do with either Seju or both Seju and Sumin.
Using the assassin as a simple plot device would've been stupid.
Saehun's relationship with Seju's mom.
Necessary.
But why do you think if it's Sumin x Sungji, then they won't need to fill all these plotholes?
I've never said they won't need to do so. I said there're already too many plotholes that won't be filled at the end so making ending with another huge plothole would be way too stupid to end the story even though I wouldn't mind Sumin ending up with Seju after Sungji treated her like a trash.
She's not thinking about Seju anymore though.
Why? Is it because Sungji left her or because Seju has been out of her sight?
She wasn't thinking about Seju for a while already and Seju was still living with her at that time.
Sumin and Sungji are the logical pairing that was built for the entire story.
Who said that?
This last drama is made for them to end together, even if we stopped seeing them as a healthy couple because of what Sungji did.
Unless Sungji is horny again, I don't know how they can make up.
I couldn't care less about Sungji being horny or not. She better fix her brain and face the consequences of what she did. Otherwise the ending won't be even tolerable.
Izz
Chapters' pages are not numbered.. but you are looking for ch55 flashback of ch27.. and ch74 flash back.
Then look at Sumin's house arrangement and compare it to Seju's two houses in the past.
It still didn't say anything about Sungji not liking the house. From what we've seen, she likes it.
I'll admit in current situation I'd take team pink fresh start over team blonde but it's still easier to make team blonde more tolerable than using a plothole to create team pink. There already are too many of those and they'll never get filled which is a shame.
Plotholes, what are they?
Examples I could write right away:
The assassin.
Baek Sr's plan.
Saehun's relationship with Seju's mom.
Sumin is experiencing "waiting for someone to come back". Regardless of whom she is waiting for, she will end up thinking about Seju. Simun x Sungji makes no sense to me.
She's not thinking about Seju anymore though. Sumin and Sungji are the logical pairing that was built for the entire story. This last drama is made for them to end together, even if we stopped seeing them as a healthy couple because of what Sungji did.

They both are not who they used to be 10 years ago.
Not necessarily a bad thing
Which I agree with. But to be together they'd need to know each other once again, on good terms, without toxicity and anger from the past. 2 chapters are not enough to do so.
From my view, hmmm, what can I say, from Seju's tone, and how the story goes, she realizes that her love for Sumin is tiring and selfish, so she lets go, she lets go for Sumin to be happy. This somehow feels like a finality for her role.
I think since the story is about healing Seju had to let go and move on and Sumin going back to her would've been a step back for both of them at the moment. They both are not who they used to be 10 years ago.
Them coming back together and start fresh (like really fresh, from friendship and all that) would make sense if the story was longer and the last arc was focused on them repairing their relationship sooner, not at the very last moment.
This is not about SuminxSungji and how they solve their problem, really. Its about Seju and her reason to let go, sth all of us has been waiting since the beginning. Her reason to let go is better then any kind of reason I could ever think of and make her go to a new height but that's the problem, it could also be the end of her role, for good.
It's also what I always wanted her to do.
I cross my fingers for Seju's spin off.
So for Seju to be back (and I excluded SuminxSungji in this, they're not related), she has to believe that what sumin has for her is love and all.
Which is not anymore IMO. Sumin had moved on. Too bad she got burned for doing it too. And to think about it, it's the second time she's punished for moving on. First she was physically scarred by Seju's brother. Now she's emotionally scarred by the person who claimed to love her.

I don't have so much time.
Oh hey, we have something in common. XD
I'm still waiting for that chapter and page ;)
And I guess I'll need to wait for Nora to provide it, huh? If it exist in the story, of course. Because I really can't remember Sungji saying anything bad about the house.
I see no reason to not end the manhwa in chapter 91, so I believe there will be a twist.
I'll admit in current situation I'd take team pink fresh start over team blonde but it's still easier to make team blonde more tolerable than using a plothole to create team pink. There already are too many of those and they'll never get filled which is a shame.
^The problem with Seju is that she left Sumin, there're 2 chapters left so I see no time for her to come back without creating a huge plothole.
Izz who does the house remind Sungji of?
There's no proof it reminds her of her. Or did I forget about something?
You forgot to reread...
I don't have so much time. Chapter and page please.
