On page 005 the correct slang saying is "out of the gutter" not off the gutter. I've seen this on more than one manga.

Thanks for uploading this story. I also liked the country x city gal yuri it was cute and endearing. As far as someone said it had tropes halfway through, but that doesn't bother me as long as tropes aren't particularly the only thing, which is not the case here. And there are many tropes I'd rather see than frankly the gross, abusive and plain sick stuff pasted off as good entertainment today. I found this a great short love story and really wish it was longer.

Very endearing. Someone said clichéd, but I will take this over the sex abuse BDSM and other garbage floating around today. And I love OL yuri! I enjoy this story very much.

I guess even GL and Dynasty are running out of ideas when they run this stuff. Today's attitude seems to be that just because one person writes stuff like this we must post it. I think it pushes the idea of common decency. Like people who say BDSM is sex when in actuality it is sex abuse and not something to be championed, but something which should be addressed professional by mental health professional (and I'm not talking about fuzzy handcuffs and tickler feathers). I don't understand, are there no lines of decency which must not be shown as okay? As stuff like physically forcing insect into someone else's body until the vomit on themselves okay? I am by far not a prude, but causing physical or mental pain to another and treating it as though it is the norm, is at the least irresponsible, and the worst....there are not words to describe. Does anyone worry that someone reading these types of stories here may encourage them to treat other women similarly possibly causing physical or mental trauma? I think this is far different than the shooting and violent video games, though I do not advocate rape scenes in video games. Maybe I am much too nice for the world these days. Humanists are archaic now?

Why do characters in manga always go "it's so hot out here" at the same time they are wearing a sweater vest? Seems kind of counterproductive.

Morishima is quite good at pacing the story in Hanjuku Joshi. There have been more than a few mangaka who go past 5 chapters and the story lines start needlessly meandering for shiggles.

Yeah, this is one of those manga that are just note perfect throughout. A great beginning, a great middle and a great end.

Posts like this are kinda evil, making me reread this once again (god knows how many times it's been now ;p).

Altough it did make me wonder if it really deserves the "lots of sex" tag, altough yes it is quite smutty it's not really porny in the sense that i associate with that tag. (I've already suggested a tag change)

I agree that "lots of sex" may be pushing it, I think most of the beginning was just Citose sexually harassing Yae like she just had some automatic right to touch and grope her whenever she wanted, even as Yae was begging her to stop. Bad example for females and males alike. No means No! At least by half way thru Chitose is learning it's about one's feelings first and these must be respected before someone can ask to go to the next step. I think Morishima does a great job showing not only a basic love story, but also a lot of underlying themes often missed be other mangaka. I especially like her adult manages as well. She was one of my first yuri mangaka to read and one of my favorites even today.

I don't seem to be much of a fan so far. The artwork is so-so with characters with grotesque faces and bad attitudes and the dialogue is a lot of screaming. Nothing like most of the previous Touhou works, this looks like it's trying to attract the shooter video game player and mecha anime lovers into the fold. I don't think it works at all.

The issue isn't that it has crazy over the top sex stuff in it. The issue is that it started as a pretty tame smut with likeable characters in relationship. Sure the story wasn't too complex or anything, but it still made sense. But the further it went on, the more new chapters started to deviate from that initial premise more and more and ended up completely forsaking what the series was at first and turned into something completely different. Maybe that was authors intention from the start. Maybe author got bored of initial characters and premise and decided to spice thing up and ended up writing about whatever the hell they felt like. Maybe they simply didn't give a fuck if it all made sense or not from the start. But you can't fault people for complaining about the story, because they felt mislead by first chapters what this series is supposed to be about. If you still enjoy it and don't mind that characters just fuck each other without rhyme and reason, because it's just porn, there's nothing wrong with that, but you can't just ignore that it wasn't like that at first and act as if opinions of people who voice their criticism now, because they liked first chapters, are invalid. It's fine to like it, but it's also fine to acknowledge faults in it. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

My thoughts exactly, and this chapter is a great example of it as I mentioned above. The story just plain lacks any sense of cohesion.

I don't like this coupling at all, it's just manipulation and rape of an underage. Rape is not sexy in my book.

Super hilarious manga. Yay Hachiko! I hope you are able to complete this manga, it's great!

Best thing that could happen is for the school to burn down and close before I have to stick pencils into my eye sockets to forget all the stupidity I've had to read to try and get to the main idea. The story is just too cliche. The redo is somewhat better if you could just get rid of those other club members except those 2 that are featured in the redo "Side Story" which is fantastic. Also, the redo artwork is much improved.

I like the artwork a lot and Nekozaki's character as well. I cannot stand all those punks who pushed there way into the Miko Club. They have no care at all about Mikoto except for what they could push her into, which of course like 99.9% of manga stories, she let's them do it to her and then somehow everyone becomes great friends. Almost never happens which is neither here nor there, I agree, but those kinds people irritate me and it ends up forcing me to skip past there parts of the story and only focus on Mikoto and Nekozaki's interactions. It is not marked ongoing or completed, so I'll just watch and see how it goes. The "Side Story" was fabulous and very heartwarming and I really enjoyed it.

This is difficult to put aside once you've started reading it. It AWESOME though, like Andy Warhol meets Dumb and Dumber! Or when we used to take windowpane directly into the eye with an eyedropper! I am so glad you have this manga. The characters are just spectacular and hilarious. There is no way I can pick a favorite, I dig them all.

I can see where the characters may seem dead, but I find it soothing slice of life. Sometimes, reading as much as I do, one can get tired from their eyes being too busy and their brain on overload, but with this manga I can calm everything down and yet still be entertained with smart, thought-provoking dialogue. I find it refreshing.

This manga needs an animation like real badly. This is gonna have some beautiful openings and ending songs. I can feel it.

I have to agree wholeheartedly!

I really love this series. Midori is so conflicted and so guilty about what she believes she should have done with Haru's mom. The art is good and storyline excellent. Haro, so mature for her age. I hope that Dynasty can finish this series to the end. I find this one of the most entreguing series around.

"out of the mouth of babes......" I also like the art style and those kids are just adorable. I can't think of any other anime with such adorable, multiple siblings. And NicoMaki is the perfect pairing!

I just love Author-san's work here as well as the other 2. Just so much fluff I can barely handle all of it.

I feel bad for Igarashi. She's made some bad decisions, and her trying to justify her actions to herself shows that she still has a long way to go, but at the same time all of her poor decisions and actions come from a fundamentally human place, not just the sort of generically evil rival I would have expected. I also really like that she respectfully bowed out when Nanoha stepped up to the plate, instead of trying to stick around and put her own feelings ahead of their relationship. Honestly, that she still has so far to go, makes me really want a future appearance or a spinoff or something, her journey would be a really compelling one to see.

I agree with you. And it seems she held her view on the workability of lesbian relationships based on the prevalent negative view on same sex couples. She unfortunately was not mature enough to have been willing to try it if she had initially wanted it.

Top frame of chapter 19 shows my car, a Fiat, of which I own a 2014 model. Useless info, I know!

I'm sure this may have been mentioned before, but if they keep saying they are lovers, but its a secret, or some other form of that phrase, I will scream in all caps!

I really, really, love this Manga, the story that gives you little tidbits of their dating time, and the art which is great. I wonder if it will ever be available in english? I hope so!

I like Mera-San's work. The Last Uniform was a really good series I though though I am upset that the 3rd Volume was not sold in English. I wish more of this author's stuff would be offered in English, but maybe its just an acquired taste and publishers don't think they would sell well.
But this is a cute story.

I just finished reading this story and found it a refreshing change of pace from the average Yuri story. I just loved how the author slowly brought Yuki and Azuma together building up their relationship bit by bit, thus making it stronger. And Yuki is finally able to stand up to her father in the end. As far as her father reading one of Azuma's novels and suddenly changing his tune on things, that probably is a bit of a stretch, but minor I think to the overall story. I have no problem with the age gap as Japan and very likely Japan of this Era allow girls to marry young and you only see them kiss at the very end. The Author could easily be in her mid twenties or a little younger for that matter. I just find this story heartwarming and I couldn't help but cheerlead for these two young women. A story and setting unlike most Yuri stories that I recommend to everyone.
