The inclusion of the childhood friend in the story is almost as puzzling as the 1 year time skip and break-neck pacing in general.
So far she's just here to suffer with no other obvious purpose. Maybe she'll catch the MC on the rebound from her heartbreak over her crush seeming to be "straight".
But I doubt it because that would mean a lot of drama and this doesn't seem like the type of story to dive deep into that love triangle drama.

Kinda vague WN spoilers There have been a couple of sex scenes. Not graphic but still detailed and erotic. Neither of the characters have a defined "role" when having sex, so perhaps you could describe them as "switch" if you want. I simply consider them to have the "default" or "standard" approach to sex, where both partners give and receive pleasure.

A flashback so long I forgot the main characters were someone else. It definitely could have been condensed to "Rei was Queen of the school with a fanclub. We were friends but then started dating". Several chapters into the flashback and we're not even to the separation part yet.

Been a bit since I read them, but I think the earlier chapters gave me the impression it was an unrequited love for Rei, not that they had dated.

Glad you're still translating this because it's an enjoyable read.

Yeah definitely a work that could've used an editor. The bones of an interesting yuri romance is there but it rushes things and gets a bit muddled at times.

Still enjoyed reading it though.

Interesting about Nanase being described as having experienced "ordinary happiness", which is the best type of happiness that Fuuko and Yuni lacked.
There was little doubt that Yuni and Fuuko were on the same wavelengh, which was completely different from Nanase's. And here the author is directly confirming it.
