Seto was masturbating while thinking of Sasaki.

Thinking about her cute kohai who might be in love with her didn't turn her on... but recalling about Sasaki and the things they did in the bath turned her on so much that she started schlicking.

Sasaki's stock is rising.

The one who says "Reading is boring as fuck!" gets a boo from all the readers here.

I know some of you were still hoping against hope that Nadeshiko would turn out to be a real human girl pretending to be a robot... but it's over now, you all just gotta give up.

Only a robot could tolerate this room. (nods, nods)

Oh sh*t here we go again.
All you have to do was follow the damn yuri train author.

Inb4 the marriage interview is with the girl

That literally would make absolutely no sense whatsoever.
When your mom sets up a marriage interview for you, her daughter, the other person is always a man. Most often a relative of a friend or an acquaintance of a coworker or something like that -- a single guy who has a decent job and is looking for a homemaker wife and is ok with anyone who meets a minimum of specs.

The whole reason Japanese mothers are so pushy about finding husbands for their daughters is because they want grandchildren. And seeing as science babies aren't a thing yet... well, you get the picture.

Ah, yes... Go and give a ton of candies to a little girl, OL-chan, I'm pretty sure nothing bad will happen...

Only bad thing that could happen is that the little girl gets chubby after eating too many sweets. But it's ok as long as you like plump girls.

And, hey, some good things could happen too! For example: after getting lots of candies from you, the little girl decides that she likes you and follows you home! Wouldn't that be just perfect?

The problem arises when people cannot distinguish reality from fiction.

Words of gold.

realiction? fictiality?

Hahaha.
Thank you for the new chapter, Daphie! I'm loving the story, these two make such a cute couple. And yeah I noticed OL-chan's tongue slip while she was listing conversation topics, lol. I had to change my image of her because of it... I mean, I thought she was the type who would righteously claim "I'm not a lolicon, I simply fell in love with this one person who just happens to be a loli!" but it appears she has already assumed her character as an unabashed loli lover. In my previous message I jokingly suggested that she could go the Minori way, and now it turns out I wasn't that much off the mark.

The thing (or part of the thrill) with situations like this, is that it can all go really really bad really fast with one mistake, I wonder how this protagonist will make it out to the end of the story without messing things up...Too much!

"Psst... OL-chan! Take this! It's a roadmap to guide your future steps!"

(Hands her a few volumes of the Minori x Coco series)

I kept wondering what was the deal with all those red arrows pointing down.
Then I realized those were supposed to be hearts. :/

Glad the author finally broke them off, yeah it seemed like they both liked each other but there seemed to be more lust than love most of the time.

You know, the translation by SAD hasn't reached that point yet. I assume you have read the Viz translation, which goes up to chapter 36? But this thread is for the SAD version, which is at chapter 31 right now. If you want to talk about stuff from chapters 32 and on, you should use spoiler-masking.

Anyways, imho Viz isn't doing a very good job. All the characters speak in altogether neutral English, all the voices are the same. The translation by SAD is completely different, you really feel the love they put in their work.

"... I made a mistake."

Okay but... what is she talking about?

Does she mean her that father's scolding has made her realize the error of her ways?

Or is she furious because her dastardly plan has been thwarted? "Curses, foiled again! I should have asked him for a blank invitation and filled the name myself!"

I don't think anyone (except maybe Fuuko depending on how master manipulator she's being) has done anything wrong from a moral stand point yet. It's really unfair to say a couple closeted high school girls are all not decent people are abusive or whatever yet based on this.

In my opinion, realizing your current relationship isn't working even if it's because of "cheating" by making out once isn't a bad thing. Especially because Yuni wasn't even tempted to cheat until she realized she how unhappy she is. The bad thing is not acting on that unhappiness by continuing to date the first person while cheating on them. If Yuni uses this as a springboard to communicate with her girlfriend or to break up with her, then all of this is just normal growing pains for teenagers in their first relationship. I doubt the manga will go that way because drama, but everyone is still good in my book as of this chapter.

Nanase is clearly more in love with volleyball than her girlfriend and there's a cultural reason she thinks that's okay because Japan's model of success is the "man" works 24/7 to support the family and the "woman" waits patiently at home cooking and cleaning. If she ultimately can't make time for her girlfriend such that they're both happy, they should break up and that's okay.

Yuni just wants to be with her girlfriend. She wants to feel valued and for her girlfriend to be considerate of her feelings by showing her gestures of love and appreciation. Because they have terrible communication, it's possible Nanase honestly doesn't realize how bad it's gotten in which case Yuni needs to learn to communicate her needs honestly. If she can't do that or if Nanase doesn't compromise after being told, they should break up and that's okay.

Fuuko is definitely the creepy one with her stalker tendencies, but if we give her the benefit of the doubt and all she's doing is following Yuni around because she's a lonely baby gay who finally found another LGBT friend, then she really just needs to learn some boundaries which is not unusual for a teenager. If she's been intentionally putting a wedge in by targeting Yuni when she's desperate and planning to interrupt their anniversary then she's more of a scumbag. And she needs to learn not to mess with people. Possibly with therapy if this is about her family problems and less about Fuuko herself just wanting a girlfriend. Even then, while she needs behavior correction, she's just a kid and can hopefully grow from here.

I'm looking forward to the train wreck after this where all of my careful considered character analysis goes right out the window for the draaaama. :D

I wish everyone was as appreciative when it comes to enjoying a good manga story as you are.

Until now the possible "happy" endings seemed to be:
1. Sasaki getting senpai, leaving Nanasawa to eventually time slip and create a closed loop
2. Nanasawa getting senpai, rewriting reality and removing Sasaki from existence
But now we have a better option for everyone:
3. Polycule. The only true solution for a love triangle

I think Sasaki is gonna end up going through time again

I don't know if I'm the only one who thinks this, but in my opinion it's pretty obvious that Kaimori likes Nanasawa. I mean, I see a fuckton of hints. Like the author is screaming it with a megaphone.
My perfect ending would be Sasaki gets Seto, and then Kaimori gets Nanasawa -- after confessing to her that she always loved her but thought she had no chance because of Seto, and thus decided she would be unselfish and help her get Seto instead.

Oh, it's so precious like looking a gemstone... if the gemstones were made of little puppies.

Edit: I mean, like the gemtones if you put them in a microscope, you will see millions of little adorable puppies.

I love your metaphors. Just thought I would mention it.

Sakurako just didn't have enough confidence in herself.
At that point in the story they have been sleeping together for a long time but they still are kids in school -- and you know how graduation is the time when you turn into an adult and are expected to change your life: stop playing around, accept grown-up responsibilities, ditch your school lesbian sweetheart, find a man, marry him, have his babies, etc. etc.

It's not at all unreasonable for Sakurako to think that an amazing beauty like Kasumi isn't exactly serious about her, and would rather be just friends from then on and go find herself a millionaire husband in the future.

Sakurako's lines at the end can be read as: "Hey, you really mean what you said? You don't want to be the trophy wife of a wealthy sports star or something? You chose me instead? Like, for realsies? I'm not dreaming?"

Heck, you've seen how, years later, she still has trouble believing the Kasumi at her side is real...

I have a nagging suspicion that it was axed by the publisher, like 90% of other quality yuri mangas that dare flirt with the action genre. Tatsubon's decision to keep the rights to the series and to draw it independently was a galaxy brain move.

That's exactly how I feel. Thanks goodness Tatsubon will be able to keep at it.

I love it. To one used to the mainstream of Western culture, this completely different cultural take on things really is refreshing.

Oh I wasn't complaining y'know.
