I feel the criticisms of the series as a whole, and of Yagi as a complete idiot are very unfair. First of all, in the original story, you see them appear to be about to kiss, but it's kept ambiguous as to whether they do and whether they are a couple. This sequel resolves that ambiguity and reveals they did not and are not; that's all there is to it. With that in mind, Yagi's behavior is understandable. She clearly likes Mado, but can't accept that Mado likes her back due to poor self esteem, so she decides to give another girl a chance. I've seen several of my friends in real life do this, it's not always a bad or stupid idea to date someone who's really into you when you already have a crush. Personally, while I'm eager to see Yagi and Mado end up together, I don't see every obstacle along the way as a writing flaw.

Happy to see this. That girl could really benefit from a partner to love and take of her

Maybe if they do a french kiss, they do a mind meld, where they each experience each others most's important and intimate life experiences, Martian Manhunter style.

Aside from the humor, or partially because of it, I find this series very romantic.

Mei is werewolf confirmed! but knowing Saburouta, it's probably just gonna be another love rival

I LOL'ed at the text. "Their love... is in a crisis!?" Has there been a time when their love is not in a crisis? They better switch it to "Their love... is NOT in a crisis!?" if they really want to surprise anybody.

OMGLMAO

The drama's starting to really get out of hand. Maybe Yuzu and Mei are trapped in virtual reality world in which the creator programs artificial entities to be concerned/angry about their love.

A lot of people saying the show should have had more episodes, but I've heard the show was going to be a movie, and I actually think it could have been more successful that way. I got the impression the writers kind of made up the story as they went along, and I think in the film format, the clone concept would have been easier to swallow, the ley line dilemma would have been a lot more intense, and the repetitive world building and antics at the manor would have been cut out. And of course the Fine/Izetta relationship would have to be more blatant with a shorter runtime.

I love her art, not only because I think it's nice to look at, but because of how how she uses it for her stories, which happen to be very well written.

Oh don't get me wrong, I despise the canon couples in SP. Nagisa and Tamao were the first anime couple I ever shipped iirc.

Interesting that all of these are canon to the series afaik except Nagisa and Tamao. Was this image made before Strawberry Panic ended, or did the artist just prefer them together?

Late here but want to say I'm happy that Tracer is gay. I hope more video games would start to make more gay characters, and maybe a openly pride gay protagonist.

Y'know it's funny you say that. I see comments EVERYWHERE from kids saying something similar to "If you're mad about a character's sexual orientation you're an idiot, but if you're HAPPY about it you're also an idiot!" And I just don't get that, especially if it helps you better identify with the character, or gives positive representation to a group looking for acceptance.

I mean, thats the only place to go if you don't want to break anyone's heart. To me, it seems that Kotooka is the one who's going to get the happy ending. I'm basing this opinion on nothing but yuri tropes alone, the girl who's suffering the most is always the one who gets to have the happy ending in most yuri stories, and to me that would be Kotooka since she probably cries herself to sleep every day since she thinks she would never be able to be truly happy in love and that is thanks to some traumatic experience in the past. That alone screams yuri winner to me. If i were to bet right now, i'll bet 2 bucks that she wins the Tsukasabowl since i'm broke af.

Kotooka is also the most manipulative and duplicitous character, and short of a complete ass pull her winning the Tsukasabowl would throw at least half the characters under the bus. In fact, considering Washio's innermost thoughts and feelings from chapter 15, the idea kind of makes me sick, not that I'm biased towards or against any one character. I'm imagining every possible combination in my head and all of them make me sad. Realistically I think they should all look at other women.

My honest thoughts? It's extremely clear that none of the thee girls have the slightest interest in the girl that likes them. Like, their loves aren't just normal unrequited, they're super mega ultra unrequited. I can't see this love triangle going anywhere. Only potential romance in my opinion is the glasses guy and Tsukasa's brother.

Just saw an instagram video of a straight classmate from high school kissing her friend in exactly that fashion at the new years countdown. As much as I want more romance to be present in this series, you can't make any rash assumptions

Well, uh, considering the rest of the manga it's really not that rash of an assumption.

I know what you mean, and you might be right. But if it was the case that they're clearly supposed to be a couple, why would the author go to such pains not to depict any scenes that would remove the ambiguity, despite them being absurdly close?

Ahh exhibitionism...Don't tempt me !

"Not at school" oooh so they will at home? Maybe they're not as innocent as we thought !

There was a chapter of them kissing already. No subtext there between those two.

Which? I don't recall that.

Liked the art, not trying to be negative for the sake of it.. Did they just gang up and rape Dia? Then talk cheerfully about how easy it was to "force" her to have sex with them?

Mmf, when I first read this one I thought it was a little on the non-con side, but the way they were talking during the sex scene (and afterwords) made me lean towards it being more consensual than what I thought at first glance. Also, that "forced" line is definitely harsher sounding in English than it is in Japanese (they are definitely not talking about it in the way you seem to be suggesting there).

I do empathise and I'm sorry if it was a bit distasteful for you, as I tend to be pretty picky when it comes to consent in sex.

Oh don't worry about it, it was still cute and definitely worth uploading. Appreciate all the work you do.

If it's alright, I'd like to know the name of a manga. A rich girl living in a mansion is given the gift of a PET, which is basically a girl with animal ears who the rich girl thinks is supposed to do chores for her. (Sounds like Itou Hachi but I don't think it is) The rich girl treats her badly at first, but eventually warms up to her, and is shocked when the meek animal eared girl suddenly kisses her and comes onto her sexually. It turns out PET's are actually created in a lab to be "love animals for sexual pleasure." Or something like that. It sounds weird typing it out tbh. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

I don't find a guy being beaten over a rude statement to be all that funny. It was a little funny I guess.

IIRC they don't actually have much of an age gap. Yuri's body stopped aging after the incident where her powers burned out.

So now that Flip Flappers is finished?

Does it yuri? Or just teasing? Or perhaps baiting?

Much of the show's symbolism suggests that Cocona has romantic feelings for Papika. Every non-yuri goggled review I have seen of the show acknowledges this. It all hinges on what happens in the last episode.

I think the trend of shows like Izetta where the driving force of the show is a clearly romantic relationship which is somehow never fully legitimized on screen is ridiculous (some people may disagree with me on that). I really hope Flip Flappers avoids that fate.
