Nah I still believe Sumin will end up with Sungji.

But what I don't get is why author made Seju seem so happy one moment before going to sleep, and then suddenly getting angry at Sumin. I know calling her a thief wasn't a light accusation, but this reaction felt different for Sejus usual character.

In the end it gives off vibes that something bad will happen to her again. I just wish this isn't the case and the plot moves on from this pattern

Haven't read the chapter yet but Seju finally angry at Sumin? This feels like a breath of fresh air....
We needed some drastic change to her third wheeling case. Sumin and Sungji acting like kids in love as usual I guess.

I agree and I said it before. I sometimes feel like yuri fans don't actually want yuri unless it is exactly made the way they want it to be made and appeal to them in the manner they like the best.

I think that's the actual issue here. Feels like Yuri fans will complain to a much greater extend than, lets say yaoi.
And they are destroying their own community by not accepting or supporting anything that is not to their taste.

I'm not saying they have to like something they don't. Just not try to destroy it either.
I have series I dislike too, but won't go to their threads to constantly remind them why that story sucks.
We can't expect Yuri to grow with the help of non Yuri fans, while the people who are actually interested to the genre will always find something they don't like.
And I'm also not referring to series like Kuzu no Honkai or whatever its name is, that actually treats Yuri in a very negative way.

Remember that "lighter" Yuri is not that rare. For example, Shuumatsu No Izetta was not Yuri but is had undertones as subplot for the main protagonists.
There was also Ange Vierge and even that anime with Kokona and Papika that I'm forgetting the name right now, New Game etc etc only in one year. "Yuri" on a lighter tone is not that rare.
The thing is, those were not a serious confirmed Yuri series.

On the other hand, when things start getting real, people complain. Be it for the presence of males, or for the character of the girls not being the purest and perfect souls.

Whether we like it or not, Yuri is not meant to be a popular genre. It cant be as popular as the rest of shonen types of anime.
So NTR giving a bad name to Yuri is really not an issue imo.
And I seriously doubt how much of an appeal the male characters in this particular situation are able to have to attract a bigger audience. Their roles are not the type of male characters that appeal to the female otakus. It would make more sense that Fujiwara and Takeda would attract male audience with a "gay girl being with a guy" fetish instead.

People who will assume that Yuri sucks because of NTR are probably very few and don't have critical thinking at all.
Besides I really doubt a lot of non Yuri fans will watch this. It's not a story that can appeal to a broader audience, since there is nothing else besides romance/lewdness between girls.

It's really an exaggeration to blame a single anime for the falling of a specific genre.
And it's not as bad as some people are making it to be. It's not the antichrist or anything lol.

Hating on NTR has become cliche at this point. At the end of the day people who like it are the ones who win in this situation, since we are getting an anime.

Anime PV

Finally! I can't say I'm disappointed. It does give the whole dark vibe which is what I liked from NTR. Although the art is not that great imo. Their faces look altered but that's to be expected since it's different artists working on the designs than the author. Kinda seems a bit rushed.

Their voices are ok, although I'd like a less moe voice for Hotaru. But since the anime was announced I had this strong feeling her voice would sound exactly like that lol.

I honestly doubt Hotaru is really pregnant
It seems like she was pretending everything was ok when they were talking about moving in together and looking for a house, two chapters ago.
This whole pregnancy thing is probably an excuse to push Yuma away maybe. Like again protecting her from Fujiwara

I wouldn't call SejuxSumin childish now. More like they start behaving like friends again, now that Sumin has started stop hating her.

Well SungjixSumin though...kinda feels a bit childish, even when they are doing it.

I was thinking that we haven't seen Nami for a while. What if they are keeping her for the end to make a SejuxNami twist?

GIVE IT TO ME. NOW. :D

Took me a while to recover from the Seju arc, I guess this will be the last gift for me lol.

Honestly I never liked her though.

Sumin seems like a different person when she is with Sungji versus Seju. She seems more childish with Sungji

And they were literally like teenagers :P Those faces they made when the phone started ringing... Priceless.

I genuinely laughed. My bet for next chapters is some Seju drama only to falsely hook the Seju fans and at least one more chapter like this.

Oh, they're cute? What kind of cute? Are you serious or being sarcastic? Cause I dont want to read sex stuff, so I do need to know exactly what's really in there

I was being sarcastic calm down. I don't like it either but some people do actually. No need to bash them for their liking some Sungji x Sumin.

Such a cute chapter! Sungji x Sumin so cute :3 kyaaaa~

Gaji probably is keeping the story for the extras so people buy these too. That's some smart marketing tbh.

As for the age, I am baffled too, because normally in Yuri we want the main couple to be together and kiss etc.
But this is just a no to me for the ages they are now.
Also if this was het and Mimika a guy, wouldn't it make things more awkward when he would want to touch Yuzumiri, just like Mimika feels now?

Anyway, I'm not complaining or anything, I find the story cute but I really prefer them staying like this for the time being.

Lol I'm just saying my opinion of how I'd think the story could/should progress in the scenario that Sumin doesn't want to go back with Seju again.

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything? Remember we are talking about fictional characters in hypothetical scenarios that haven't even happened here...

The author has to give her a reason to stop, a meaningful reason, to be exact.

What I imagine happening if Seju ever moves on, is her being implied to move on.
For example, last chapter with Sumin and Sungji and then maybe showing Seju calling her from aboard to check on her as friends.
It will imply that they are on good terms but Seju is finding her own way too.
Doesn't have to actually add the aftermath now, because there is also no time left for chapters.

Got it, she should stop being Sumin's pet and start living as a stray pet for god's sake

Or maybe...she could start living as a human instead of any type of pet?

I didn't forget that she still loves Sumin. I clearly said

One, Sumin was the only person she had and ever loved

Being in love with someone doesn't mean she still can't move on.

ah and MacySan , Sumin was the one who kept giving Seju hope by always coming back to her, and sometimes waiting for her in her home whenever Seju has to visit the main house.. also showing jealousy towards Seju.. let's not forget that sometimes Sumin will make Seju feels like Sumin is still in love with her in the way she looks at her and makes love to her like in ch3.
that false hope participated in making Seju wait and wait forever.. Sumin is aware of that as she tells Sungji in ch77: "it might even be my fault that Seju doesn't have anyone else to rely on"

Yeah and that's why I said that maybe these chapters are actually Seju moving on, since Sumin recognized that she was making Seju cling to her as well.
So now if she stops this behavior, Seju will be more able to let go too.

as for Gaji comment that she wants to marry Seju:

http://archive.loveisover.me/u/thread/1817402/

At this point I highly suspect that Gaji just wants Seju for them.
They build the perfect waifu for their taste and most importantly gave her no other character to love besides someone who will never get back with her (probably)

I disagree. If team gaji wants her to move on, they should've done it sooner instead of pushing her further to the love triangle. Seju has made it this far so why does she have to stop now?

Pets or therapist or house. I disagree with that. Her whole life has been a life with no love and now we're suggesting her to lead an even more isolated life with pets instead of human, with doctors instead of friends? With nature instead of learning to love again?

Self-respect? I thought she has lost it years ago, the day she promised Sumin to wait for her till she died, to be exact. What can be worse? Wasnt she being directly talked bad before, when Nammi told her she looks just like a dog waiting for his owner? So why tells that she has no self-respect now though xD. It's long gone since loooong ago. And the obsessions and clinginess too, its not stooping so low, it's already so low since forever. It's just harder for readers to accept now cause to us, readers, it's a lost cause, she'll lose in the end to Sungji so we dont want her to be like that. That's all. That's how she has been for 10 years and more to come, now things are about to warm up between her and Sumin, why should she stop now?

So because she's been like this for ten years, it means she should never try to change it, and just spend the rest of her life being Sumin's pet?

Also, I wouldn't be really sure that Team Gaji is setting her up to be forever with them. This involvement with Sumin now could very well be different.
She slowly sees Sumin caring for her again. In the past, she kept on going back for three reasons. One, Sumin was the only person she had and ever loved, and second she was also burdened with guilt for Sumins parents as well as cheating on her. Third, she always knew that Sumin will go back to her, or had hopes for it.
But things with Sungji are different now. She knows this us more serious than Sumin's past gfs.

So in the end she is able to move on from Sumin, because the burden from the past, as well as Sumin's hate is being resolved. Her staying with Sumin now could be repairing the wounds.from the past in order to move on.

I'm not sure if I like Seju staying too close to Sumin in the end. I mean yes this friendship will benefit to her, but it ultimately feels like a character waste. Seju living in their shadow forever.

I don't see why she should move out of their shadow to live in the middle of nowhere. If she is emotionally satisfied, her living in others' shadow or hell doesn't matter imo. At the end of the day, it's all about her own satisfaction.

It's not the middle of nowhere. She can find place to stay, even find ways to buy herself some emotional support too.
Like find a good therapist, buy a nice house in the nature, or buy lots of pets.
Sumin should not be her god, to the point where she is willing to lose all of her self respect.
They can still be friends of course, but if Sumin choses Sungji, she should just accept it for once.

And it's not really healthy to stay obsessed with a person for her whole life. Doesn't she have the strength to move on at all? After a while when the family issues settle, she should be able to move on. Sorry but obsessions and clinginess of this level is not something that I'd like Seju to stoop into
Realistically it would be really dumb if Sungji allows her to stay very close to them always.
And I'm pretty sure Seju will attempt something with Sumin sooner or later too.

This could only work if they end up being in a poly relationship. And that would be even worse ending for me personally. They would just be trying to pander to everyone.

Also it's not about who is more persistent out of Seju and Sungji imo. Because it is Sumin who will chose in the end. And it seems like she has made her decision.

After reading the translation, it feels like things are settling down tbh. Sumin still cares for Seju and they start acting like friends again.
Also Sungji seems to be handling this issue pretty good. She could create very much drama out of this situation.
Also it feels like Seju is back away from the couple. Since she refused to have something made for her from Sumin. I believe of she acts flirty it is when she can't handle her trauma. Just like the night she went next to Sumin because she was unable to sleep

Maybe I'll take a wild guess and say that Seju goes abroad or stays id Korea, but still talks to Sumin as friends. And Sungjix Sumin together.
I don't mind being wrong though lol. That would be the standard happy ending at this point I guess.

Matching shirts, why is it that i find it funny (i laughed out loud) rather romantic!

Maybe because they were ugly shirts?
