Honestly beginning to think that Hinako becoming non-monster attracting again may be Shiori's whole aim... Could it be that she is simply using the possessive "oh yes, I'll eat you as soon as you are happy enough, but no one else can"-shtick because it was the easiest way to get Hinako to go along vs having her actively seek out getting chomped?
I doubt it, Hinako having been no different from regular people before the accident seems to be news to her, otherwise there would be no need for Miko to explain it to her right now. Pretty sure she's just the unapologetic monster she says she is, although this may still change over time as she spends more time with Hinako.
It seems Hinako may not be normal pureblooded human after all.
Based on the end of this chapter, she certainly was at least until the accident, though. And now we're about to find out what (was) changed after that...
Although depending on what it is, she may no longer be as tasty once she recovers, which may solve the problem of Shiori eating her in the end. We'll see.
Something does not add up right...Are they in senior high 1st year? Because middle school does not make sense. You take exams for senior high when you are in the final year of middle school.??
Why would possibly you assume they're in middle school when the whole series starts with her failing her high school entrance exam, a fact also conveniently repeated in the series description...?
... but it seems like this series might be a 404: Men Not Found one.
Yeah, quite notably even the idol concert crowds, or at the beach, or any other background characters ... all women. Even with families only the mothers ever get mentioned.
Although this literally being a world of 404: Men Not Found would certainly explain a lot about how there have been none of the usual comments about all of this being going on between girls, especially the hotel visit.
