I wonder why Out with dad is blocked for french people

Are you talking France or Quebec? Because the latter can be kinda weird when it comes to gays. Or anyone, really.

France, The youtube link in the first post and one channel on dailymotion are blocked.

Edit : But I did found another separate french one on youtube, don't know if it's an official one or anything

Ah I think they just have 2 playlist (subbed and non subbed) and they blocked the non subbed one

Ah, might be some sort of international rights thing. That unfortunately happens sometimes.

And another series gets drawn down into the muck of black bars everywhere.

Nothing new here.

That goes for literally everything, ever.

Man, I wish they'd come up with an original complaint. So cliche, 0/10.

I haven't seen the movie, but the novel Tipping the Velvet was terriffic.

Fingersmith by the same author was really good too.

Despite making it a science-fiction series in the later half, the author has shown time and time again that he has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to real science.

I think from some of the descriptions of the Androids and Cell, they might be better called Bioroids, or geneticaly engineered people/creatures. Similar to the replicants in Blade Runner and the Jem'Hadar in Star Trek.

I can't believe I'm living in a world where people are calling out DBZ for not being scientifically accurate.

NEZ NOTE

candy76041820, I've told you before to stop abusing the headline tag. It doesn't help that you abuse it in service of being an incredible dick to scanlators who actually make a contribution to this site.

Your attitude has you seriously riding the line of getting booted from the forums, so smarten up.

One I wouldn't recommend is The Gunfighter and the Gearhead by Cassandra Duffy. I don't know how you take a porny lesbian romp about an airship pilot falling in love with a Victoria's Secret model turned deadly gunslinger in a post-apocalyptic steampunk version of California following an alien invasion and make it really not that much fun, but she somehow manages. The elements are all there, but the way the author puts them together gave me a bad taste.

Oh, and if we're talking novels, The Graveyard Sparrow is a nice period-piece-plus-magic story about a reclusive girl who communicates with the dead becoming involved with a female magician while investigating a series of Jack the Ripper style murders. Ending resolves a bit too easily for my taste, but the rest of the book holds up fine. Certainly a better crafted effort than the author's previous work, Bluebell Hall, which was a lovely bit of fluff with a diverse cast, but didn't get much beyond the fluff stage.

Also worth at least a mention is The Second Mango by Shira Glassman, an India-themed heroic fantasy story that's a fun enough yarn although I found it didn't have much depth and again, the ending wraps up way too easily. Still got lots of enjoyable moments so I wouldn't call it bad by any means.

Updated, thanks for all the suggestions.
Whispering Corridors goes up to 5 or 6, Swordcraft Story too. I only added the ones that were named here, should the others be on here too?

I'm not gonna search through the web comics thread cause that's work and I don't think yuri was needed to be named there. But if you have webcomics with yuri, then I'm gonna add them.

The Whispering Corridors movies are all unrelated to each other as far as I know, save that they all take place in schools. As far as I know, only the second one has an explicitly lesbian couple. The rest would be subtext at most, and from the Wikipedia synopses it seems like at least a couple don't come off as gay at all.

No problem! The AT comics are really gay.

Unsurprisingly. Have you ever read Kate Leth's Twitter or Tumblr?

Wait, no movies yet? There are so many... Some that I liked:
Bye Bye Blondie, Kyss Mig, La vie d'Adèle, Jack & Diane (probably my favorite, also: Juno Temple ♥♥♥), the Whispering Corridors (Korean horror franchise, the first ones have some subtext, second one has a explicitly lesbian couple; don't remember about the others), Butterfly (chinese movie)...

Memento Mori, mentioned in the comment above yours, is second in the Whispering Corridor series, and apparently one of the first Korean films to have lesbian characters. I've got it on DVD, although I haven't watched it for a while.

EDIT: for movies:

D.E.B.S.
^ it's a cheesy spy movie.

D.E.B.S. was awesome!

Oh, and a weirdly fun little "horror" movie that just ends up being really nifty instead I watched a while ago called Memento Mori would be worth looking up. Worth it for the amazing design of the exchange diary the girls keep/kept and the wonderfully surreal ending.

what about The L Word, never forget

To be honest, I tried watching The L Word and hated it. I simply couldn't get to like any of the characters.

I like this, it's light and fun, and the art is very distinct. I love the expressiveness of it.

Thanks a bunch, Touchwood is looking really interesting. Yay for adult couples.
I'm going shopping for authentic Japanese instant ramen with a bunch of American stuff in it after I'm done with work, so I'll add the list then. Especially when it comes to literature I don't know many yuri stories, so that was really helpful.

Pekoe:
Didn't know Nami, thanks.

The sequel for Touchwood isn't very much like the first book though. It's not a bad romance story, but a very strange choice for how to follow the original story up. It's got good characters, that's where Kallmaker's real strength lies, but idk if I'd recommend it all the same.

I watched the first season of Out With Dad on DailyMotion, it was really good. Got to get around to watching S2.

There are a lot of lesbian romance novels, that vary in quality as you might expect. And for some reason mystery novels with gay and lesbian main characters have been popular for a long time. As to yuri with basketball, the two I've read are Finally by Lynn Galli and Romancing the Zone by Kenna White, both of which are pretty fun reads. The former is more of a novella though, and crosses over a little with characters from the author's other stories so it might not be the best to start with.

If you're looking for good Lesbian romance in general, I'm particularly fond of Touchwood by Karin Kallmaker which is adult Age gap and 96 Hours by Georgia Beers. Both are really good if you're into the romance genre.

Most of Gokujo Drops take place after they've become a couple, and it's comedy to boot.

So weird seeing Nishi Uko doing high school stuff, even though it's done in such a different fashion than most.

It seems that the cbr version at least really isn't meant to be read on a tablet. Resizing so it fits on the screen does some really odd things to the gray tones.

For those who haven't heard, season 2 of Carmilla, everyone's favourite web series about lesbian vampires living in what is essentially Night Vale: The College has begun !

First two episodes are great, full of blood and snark and flirting, just the way we like it. Have fun!

Personally I don't think there's any premeditated cruelty on Elle's part. What I believe is that she didn't plan to do this, but rather upon seeing Fleur's pain at the ceremony and the fact that she clearly hasn't been able to let go decided to take advantage of the circumstance of Fleur being alone to try to make a clean break. She wasn't necessarily successful because she was too honest about her own feelings, but it does end with a mutual agreement to move on from those feelings and a wish for Fleur's happiness with someone else, both of which Fleur seems to accept.

A good decision on Elle's part? Probably not. There were probably lots of better approaches. But this is a very human one, and the story doesn't pretend Fleur is without flaws.
