There could be some sort of deeper and/or metaphorical meaning in there, I dunno, the idea was kinda half baked in my head...

you are probably right. i've been rereading Nishi Uko-senseis' one shots and have not noticed obvious use of metaphors (per se); so much as I have noticed her use of symbolism.

But I do confess, analysis is not my forte. So anyone, feel free to correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks D_T. From what I read, it should not target scanlations of released material, just unreleased materials. However, I am a firm believer in the "law of unintended consequences." I get nervous at what that could mean for scanlation groups and especially the readers.

Eh... At this point, even if it ends in yuri. It wouldn't really make you want to pair the two together after how seeing how, supportive, Maki is of Youko. I would probably prefer Youko finding someone else instead of ending up with Maki.

huh? Youko and Maki are perfect for each other. they are like each others Prince/Princess Charming (in other words, hey complement the other). but this is my opinion.

i think Maki's infatuation with Keita is masking her feelings toward Youko.for example, does she really feel a romantic interest for Keita or is it really more or less a familial sense of love. I think (and this is IMHO), once she straightens out that emotion, she'll realize she loves Youko as more than a friend.

nope. I've reread it twice (going on #3). I forgot that Ozawa asked Youko if she liked anyone. I guess at this point the pairings are all shaping up. plus what is with Keita? That Imoko-slur is seriously irritating. So I guess Youko gave up trying to get him to stop even though he promised to do so (oh, such short-term memories)!

Re-read Heart-Pounding Excitement at Mononoke Girls' Academy for the second time this month. I really like Yuri in original fantasy settings. Wish there was a whole lot more of it.
