i spent about 15 minutes staring at this picture confused why the charm points kept changing in my brain but the typeset "kiss" in text stayed consistently a major platinum charting hit

That's my guess. I don't know for sure what's going to happen, obviously; but knowing this manga, I suspect that Nanao will start using brothels, she'll be the one to find Mai, and that'll probably lead into a poly ending.

Just my suspicions, though. We'll see if it plays out that way or not.

Isn't wagyu all A1-A5 cuts? Angus choice/premium here in America is B3 at best.

Not sure why, but the talk about Kyubey suddenly has me grateful it was named Kyubey and not Beta or Inkyu (because kyubey is the only part of incubator that isn't easy to turn into an immature sex joke)

They didn't have sex in the anime/vol 3 ending. It's implied by the framing in the anime, but in the original it was a too-heavy makeout session. The anime skipped it for the "they had sex" framing in order to make it a satisfying conclusion in the case S2 didn't get greenlit and to save screentime (and also not force people to sit through anis's seiyuu moaning on the tv)
