I like reading about toxic relationships as long as the author realizes that's what they're writing

Yeah this is the most important part. Like I love reading "It's a Detached Relationship" because everyone there is messy to be messy and it's never portrayed as "good". That's cool and fun. Even that bullying oneshot by Mikanuji that a lot of people hated, I really liked because it's obvious it's a fucked up relationship from the beginning.

It's when authors unknowingly write a fluffy relationship that's actually quite toxic and romanticises toxic behavior is when it becomes problematic. The author's level of awareness is key.

Idk why everyone keeps saying yandere, I read it as the popular girl putting these rules in place to make the weak willed girl learn how to get comfortable with saying no. I think the whole point is to train her to express herself more honestly, even if initially she’s just following orders.

I think this is the author's intention, but I do hope it makes that distinction clearer in future chapters. It's one thing to learn how to say no to people if she doesn't want to go and uses gf's orders as a push to say no. The problem comes when she does actually want to, but can't because she's afraid of betraying her partner's orders.

Anyway needs more chapters to see if this is gonna go true toxic possessive yandere route or is just a lil misguided fluff piece.

^ All fair criticisms and I agree with all your points. I think for me that since there wasn't any particular pacing or story (besides Azusa hiding her dorkiness) with the previous chapters and it's always felt like a random idea of the week sort of manga, that the abrupt ending didn't really affect me much. We all had an inkling that it would end soon after the identity reveal, but still hoped it wouldn't. I do think an epilogue chapter would help it out a lot though.

Are you guys frigging kidding me with the "I don't like this ending so it must be axed" comments again?? Gawddd

Endings are hard to write well and even more so with a slice of life type series like this one where there isn't really a perfect ending point. I feel like a lot of people are just upset there wasn't a clear confession, when I think it would have been even more (pleasantly) surprising if they actually had a serious confession since the whole time they were playing it off for laughs and subtext without any sign it was gonna be anything more.

At first the concept was really weird and creepy, so I wasn't sure about continuing on, but I'm actually surprised by the direction they took it! It's nice to see them "grow up" and embrace their individuality, but also to see that they still do think the same in some ways. It was a very sweet end.

When Ruby did that title drop I knew it had to be the last chapter ;_; . Ahhhh I'm so sad it's over and I think they totally could have extended this more, but overall I'm really satisfied with how everything went. This was a super entertaining series and I'm happy to have read it. Thanks for all your hard work scanlating this so fast!

I hope a spin off (itd be cool to get a more detailed look at the other magical girls) or sequel will be made in the future!

Interesting premise. Seems like it's gonna be a "customer of the day" prostitution story (but fantasy genre) where we see Aya grow up by meeting various customers. The main issue right now is there's way too much telling and not enough showing. The transition from the black page was really confusing and I think they coulda handled revealing the memory wipe better.

I'll see how it goes in future chapters though. Major props translating all that text.

^ normally I get where people are coming from because a lot of them do just end suddenly or you can tell it's super rushed at the end, but for this particular series, I think everything has been paced well and it set out everything it wanted to do. There really isn't anything more to explore besides just showing snippets of their relationship after getting together, but that would just make it become another slice of life (which honestly I'd enjoy a lot). But yeah this was always just a lighthearted story and I think the author never intended it to be anything more than that.

...that's an axe I smell isn't it

How is it an axe? Wasn't this series self published on pixiv? The author ended it the way they wanted it to end (I think)

I think it was kinda incorrect to say that Koiko never loved the prez and that it was just fantasy because what Koiko was doing fit the prez's description, but it's just that Nika's plan actually worked and Koiko has switched her affections to Nika now.

I'm sad it's gonna end by the next chapter but I really enjoyed this and it wraps everything up nicely.

I wasnt sure about reading this one at first because of the tags, but glad I checked it out. I ended up really enjoying this one! I think we should have more series that focused on members of the harem ending up with each other instead of the male lead. I've always wanted them to date each other instead hahaha

Lol honestly how would someone not know how their own sibling looks (unless they were separated at childhood or something similar, which doesn't seem to be the case for these two)

This was pretty sad...if you look at the chat log, you can also see that MC has tried to keep in touch with the ex(?) more than once, but she never got a response back (just left on read).

But this is the issue. She made a choice. She chose to leave. She has no right to expect her ex to keep in contact or wait for her or whatever. No everyone likes long-distance relationships and the MC should respect that.

I understand this and yes she doesn't have the right to expect anything from the ex, but because the Manga shows that the ex IS actually still interested and has taken the time to actually go out to visit, I still feel like the ex is in the wrong to not give a response beforehand (and for not talking about her insecurities with mc before breaking up with her).

So I kinda agree with the post who said the girlfriend annoyed them. It's like, if you really care for her and still want a relationship (because she obviously still does), why doesn't she answer back or visibly show herself to the MC?

I understand that maybe she didn't want to show herself when MC left because angsty teens can't deal with departures, but i dunno... why not greet her back when you are actually interested in keeping in touch? Maybe it's the awkward guilt of not responding back for so long?

It also looks like the mc was actually still interested in staying together even though their paths changed, but the ex broke it off herself suddenly without even letting MC know about how the distance made her feel.

Anyway at first I thought the end was hopeful, but I don't think it will be now.

Edit: although I guess looking back again, the ex is blushing so maybe it will be a hopeful end, but still kind of a douchey thing to do to not let them know you are there beforehand and to make her feel bad when she gets back.

Damn I love that they went the Noel was not actually brainwashed route. I mean yeah she was probably convinced to join the True Bloods like how she's trying to recruit Maria, but it's not because of some controlling magic or something. Really looking forward to where the plot is going since this feels like the actual story now.

Dang I mean I know we already got a flat out sex scene with the other two, but i was still surprised by how explicit it was. I think it felt more explicit since it's the first scene we've had without any exaggerated comedy bdsm in it.

I also always have to remind myself that they're all only 14 hahahaha

Feelsbad for Kiwi, but I really want her to end up with Sulfur

Really liking the vibe of this. I liked the mc pair already, but once the drama club pair showed up, I was like "oh shit that's my jam right there" lol. I like it when series start to expand on the side character's backstories in slice of life stories like this. It's always nice to see the world slowly expand.

Looking forward to more!
