Well yeah, in the real world sexual orientation is an entirely different question from what gender you are. However, the question is open whether the author knows that and takes it into account in their writing. Not something you can really count on.

Nah, it's really a magical girl parody about a transgendered valkyrie who fights along side Norse gods.

So I don't know if in the end Yuuki is trangender which would count as yuri if she end with Chiaki, or if they're using the word transgender wrong or I'm just misunderstanding it because of language barrier.

TL;DR Someone knows if this is a yuri webcomic with a MtF main character or not?

Assuming I understood it correctly, if MC is transgender, they are FtM.

Yuuki was male forced to become female, I used she in that sentence because if Yuuki is trangender that would be the right pronoun, but I was not sure if I should have used he, she or he/she to talk about Yuuki as I don't know if the character is really trangender or not.

If the character is still male-identifying even while forced to become female-bodied, then "male" and he/him is correct. But in the case of a fantasy story, it's a matter of what the author says and hopefully not as much of a mess as what happened to poor David Reimer in real life.

Balderdash updates rather slowly though, which is kind of a let down. I think she (Victoria) might be in school or something, not sure.

I just put it in my RSS feed, so I don't have to keep checking the site to see if there's anything new.

Pretty sure the webcomic Balderdash has yuri content on the way, but I honestly can't remember where I read that. So take that as tentative gay.

I mentioned it pages ago, Victoria (the author) said it was coming when I asked her on Twitter. :)

Ah, okay. Didn't occur to me that it might have been here.

Loving the series so far, although the mains haven't even met so far. Expect it'll be fairly soon, Afia's gotta get hungry eventually.

To hell with the guys. I can't empathize with them at all. There's plenty of fishes in the sea for them.

Because that is so not fair to us. It's not like us guys more heterosexual than homosexual fall in love with anything we can thrust our sword in. There's only 'at most' one special person for us at any given time the same exact way (since I still don't know where I stand on the concept of having more than one romantic partner at any given time, I'll assume it isn't a thing for sake of ease of argument only...it's rather irrelevant in this case). But all the same you're on the right track with the fact I see Hotaru and Yuma fitting together nicely and they seem to work well for each other.

Did you seriously #NotAllMen here? That's hilarious.

Nez Note

Just going to put this out there pre-emptively from the start, since LL doujins seem to bring out the worst in people. There is to be NO shipping wars. Things have really gotten out of hand, so posts that try to stir things up may be edited to remove said content. It's not likely to happen in this case since they go with the "acceptable" pairings, but I'll be posting something similar on the next few LL releases so it sinks in.

And plus, in this kind of story Nico might even be an ace (asexual) who doesn't really get off but likes getting her girlfriend off. TBH it really all comes down to the personal dynamic and how they work together. As long as Nico feels valued it's all good :)

It would be interesting to have an ace character, but she doesn't need to be for this to work. I mean I'm anything but ace, and I was in a long-term relationship where I was in Nico's position through most of it and things were fine.

DID I FUCKING STUTTER?

Can we PLEASE cut it the fuck out with getting personal at each other? You can wrangle about issues all day, but shit like "Actually are you even a woman?" are downright embarrassing to read.

Tone it down immediately, or I start deleting shit.

Please do not fan the flames of this any further, even to complain about people causing problems. Moving forward I am going to start editing messages on Love Live! threads to remove this sort of "ship wars" bickering (existing messages can stand).

If everyone could save me the trouble and simply not post that junk in the first place, I'd appreciate it.

You can still have an equal relationship even if they have preferred roles in sexual situations. I like that at least this is a story where they clearly respect each other and care about each others' needs and preferences.

I'm glad they do have respect & care for each other it just that the need to have a power balance just makes me uncomfortable if I'm making any sense. It reminds me all the yaoi manga I've read that have the obligatory seme/uke dynamic going on.

I like this a lot better because it's a negotiated set of roles rather than something set in stone. And it leaves the door open for later experimentation.

I just find it really rare to see this sort of discussion in a yuri story in the first place, it's really refreshing. Plus it's not like the one on top isn't getting any enjoyment out of it.

Good Lord the love live fandom is such a train wreck.

Onto the story really don't like how the author has to have a top/bottom dynamic with these two. What happened to equal footing?

So when does the yuri in Glee start? Don't judge me.

I refuse to have anything to do with Glee. After they stole from Jonathan Coulton, they've been dead to me.

So, the latter part just came out...
Call me idiot, but I still don't get a thing of what is happening.
Would someone care to explain, please?

10 years passed after Marisa was defeated... Kourin's kid passes the barrier so Marisa realizes that Kourin has been living in the outside world for all that time and he had a kid (so he's married already and has his own life outside, not chances of him coming back so she gotta give up on him)

Add in the complication that time passes differently in Gensokyo, so it probably hasn't been quite so long for Marisa. Or longer for Kourin, either way.

About scanlator sites, I just don't know all sites where you can read original release of scanlation so I usually use those evil big sites.

They're linked at the top of each chapter, right under the title.

The beaut of reading "stolen" scanlation [link removed]

Don't link to manga theft sites kids, or you might find your whole comment goes missing. Maybe it'll just be the link, maybe the whole thing. So you wanna ask yourself....do I feel fortunate today?

How cut...who are those people and why does she hates sunflowers?

She doesn't hate sunflowers. On the contrary, she thinks they're great. But she doesn't like ice fairies killing sunflowers by freezing them solid.

The characters are Yuuka, a very strong youkai who has the ability to make flowers grow, and Cirno, a boastful but not terribly smart ice fairy.

And so, of all those characters, the only one I find really attractive is the pink hair one. XD But considering her bra size, I fear she's just a minor character, right ? :/

Token loli character

Actually, all of them look like lolis, just some stuffed cantaloupes down their tops.

My only problem with the fact that Liz is a trap is that sakura ripped off Liz's underwear in like chapter 4. She saw the hair and not the dick? I call bull

Must resist.....must....resist......can't....hold on....

My will is weak. Weak!.

I agree with Nezchan's assessment that the term "trap" carries some unpleasant connotations though. First and foremost of course the very strong implication of intentional deceit. That sort of thinking has actually gotten transwomen killed, as their potential partners saw them as trying to trick them (and don't get me started on the fact that some countries / states actually accept that as a frigging legal defence, both in the case of homosexuals and trans* people).

Ah, the Trans Panic defense. It's got a lot of murderers off the hook over the years, and in a lot of places even in "tolerant" North America, it still does.
