The English writing is... passable. But it seriously detracts from the reading experience.

An editor with more proficiency in the language could do wonders here.

I'm pretty sure "moving in with someone" can have similar implications in Japan as in the west.

I know making/starting a family with someone has some pretty heavy connotations, no matter where you're from.

Looks very similar to Randou House's style.

This artist gives girls a similar amount of width, but the posing and line quality is a far cry from Randou.

Though given how prevalent skinny girls are in yuri, I can see the ahem weight the former has when identifying styles.

Edit: I just notice that the girl on the left's leg disappears out of existence.

The lower half of her left leg is pointed away from the viewer, parallel to the center girl's right thigh. It's the reason the center girl's right hip is elevated like that, she's half-sitting on the left girl's leg.

Look closely at the space between the left girl's left thigh and the center girl's right thigh. There's a strip of white/light gray instead of the pink of the background. It's her stocking.

Not going to argue against it being bad cropping.

That's kind of funny to read, since you'd think a med student of all people would realize that absolutely zero of that has any impact on the quality of the sperm. Being rich or honourable or having a good relationship with your parents aren't genetic, and being smart enough to get into med school typically isn't a heritable trait. What's relevant is mostly whether they're hiding predisposition to various heritable diseases, the rest is mostly myth.

That's what you'd think at first, but actually, a sizable part of intelligence is hereditary.

The way you're raised by your parents, your diet, the culture around you, your friends, all that plays, of course, a big part in the way your intelligence develops.

But your potential is hereditary. The very way your brain works at a biological level (synaptic connections and such) is influenced by your genes. So it makes sense to look for a "smart" father, or mother.

But I admit it's a wild gamble, because how genetics work and because kids always have two biological parents, so each one comes with their own heredity.

There's also the fact that we have a very loose grasp - if one at all - on measuring, identifying, or even understanding intelligence.

The emotion of the big scene was kind of lowered by the crocs

I thought that at first, too. But thinking about it more, I find it's a really good design choice. They play off of Anzu's cynical characterization, and in that panel reflect her relaxed psychological state and place behind the scenes. All of that contrasts starkly with Kirari's anxiousness and role center stage.

The tactlessness of it gels with Anzu's "I'm no good at confessions" confession. Which actually manages to be really endearing.

Titles that spoil the plot.

I saw the blood as a lot more silly than disturbing, given the amount. It was like the artist saying "I have no idea how much blood there is, I just know it's there" and winging it.

Maybe they just have a thing for it.

If the series starts with multiple love interests and finishes with the protagonist committed to only one, does it automatically fall out of the harem genre? I'd think that the label is dependent on how the protagonist's relationships across the entire cast plays out over the course of the story instead of a binary assessment over their relationship status at its conclusion.
